"Now that you have merged into the embrace of the shadows, accept my power."
Yami Tsukishiro's darkness swallowed the entire world, surging like an endless undercurrent.
Once again, the power of shadow poured into their bodies.
Their forms were soon wrapped in purple-black shadows, reshaping into unique, eerie, powerful silhouettes.
These—
were the elites of his loyal shadow army.
At that moment, his memetic ability suddenly shifted.
[Meme]: Shadow Lord
[Level]: SS
[Abilities]
[Body of the King] — A king's body as deep and impenetrable as shadow itself.
[Shadow Control] — Control shadows freely, like moving your own fingers.
[Shadow Army] — Command the invincible Shadow Legion, and become unstoppable.
[Shadow Soldiers] — Loyal, fearless soldiers forged from corpses, following wherever their king walks.
[Shadow Kingdom] — The supreme realm belonging to the Shadow King, magnificent and eternal.
[Shuttle and Escape] — Move like a shadow, ghostly and traceless.
The shadow space morphed instantly into a vast, majestic Kingdom of Shadows.
A new ability awakened—
[Shadow Legion].
Tara, the nine Oni generals, and every shadow soldier under them were now permanently bound into his Shadow Legion.
From this moment forward—
They became the Top Ten Shadow Generals, eternal servants of the Shadow King.
Becoming a Shadow General granted them immortality, and every one of them leveled up, their growth potential skyrocketing.
"Thank you, King, for your kindness!"
Tara bowed deeply.
"King, please allow us to dedicate this entire world to your rule!"
Yami raised his hand gently, his voice calm but absolute.
"It's only a matter of time before this world is swallowed. But not yet."
"Your battlefield will not be just this one world… but thousands."
"Yes! We obey the King in everything!"
Tara and the nine generals trembled with excitement.
They were beings born to corrupt and devour light—
and their king was giving them an infinite playground.
…
"Master, you're back!"
On top of a towering skyscraper, Ella, Shion, and Kaen stood silently like statues.
They had been waiting for him.
"It's about time. How are your missions?"
Yami descended from the sky like a god walking among clouds.
Ella and Shion had been tasked with distributing special invitations.
"Master, the invitations were delivered exactly as you instructed. But whether they accept… we don't know."
Yami looked toward the underground city.
The five invitations hit the Dungeon's surface like stones into water—
Ripples spread instantly.
"Well done, Ella. Shion."
"Once we return, choose your reward. Anything."
"Reward…!"
Hearing that word, both women's eyes sparkled like stars.
Then Kaen stepped forward.
"Master! I completed my task perfectly as well."
She opened her hands.
Eleven talismans rested on her palms, glowing like divine jewels.
"There were actually eleven talismans in Section 13?"
Yami was genuinely surprised.
By all logic… Shendu should be on the verge of resurrection.
"Yes. I grabbed them directly from Section 13."
Kaen's proud tone said everything.
Those who tried stopping her were swept aside like chickens and dogs.
Yami Tsukishiro took the talismans.
Instantly, eleven rapid notifications hammered through his mind like drumbeats:
[Ding, you have come into contact with meme-capable items. Meme-ize now?]
"Memeize and meld."
He chose without hesitation.
The talismans dissolved into streaks of light, shooting into Yami's brow like meteors burning through the atmosphere.
[Ding, all twelve of your homologous memes have been merged!]
A tidal surge of power exploded inside him.
He felt like a vast ocean—
and this new force was the storm that stirred its waves.
A colorful tapestry unfolded before his eyes as the meme transformed.
S-Class Meme: Twelve Talismans (Level 7)
Twelve talismans merged into one supreme power—while keeping every individual ability intact.
[Meme]: Twelve Talismans
[Grade]: S
[Abilities]
[Rat Talisman] — Grants life; animates the inanimate.
[Ox Talisman] — Tremendous strength; unwavering like Mount Tai.
[Tiger Talisman] — Balances yin and yang; harmonizes all internal energies perfectly.
[Rabbit Talisman] — Supersonic speed; faster than lightning.
[Dragon Talisman] — Explosive energy; flames like a roaring fire dragon.
[Snake Talisman] — Invisibility; vanish from sight instantly.
[Horse Talisman] — Healing; removes all negative influences and restores anything to its original state.
[Sheep Talisman] — Spirit projection; your soul exits your body and enters dreams.
[Monkey Talisman] — Transformation; change yourself or objects freely.
[Rooster Talisman] — Levitation; control the power of flight.
[Dog Talisman] — Immortality; eternal youth, eternal life.
[Pig Talisman] — Laser beams; eye lasers that cut through all obstacles.
Power surged wildly inside his body—
yet at the same time, it wasn't chaotic at all.
A yin-yang balance worked silently like a master bartender, mixing each ability to perfection.
"Tiger Talisman… this power is really strange."
Yami exhaled softly, unable to hide his surprise.
Among the twelve abilities, the Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Dog Talismans truly stood apart.
"Kaen, your performance was perfect. When we return, you can choose any reward you want. Even a vacation in the real world is fine."
These talismans were priceless—
their value exceeded even the Black Shadow Corps he had conquered.
"Well… for the reward… can we discuss it after we get back?"
It was the first time Shion ever spoke so shyly.
"No problem. Let's head back first."
Yami didn't find anything strange about it.
…
The outer district of Dead Bone City.
Lanterns flickered to life, turning the streets into flowing rivers of warm, pearly light.
Tonight, several special guests had arrived—
the very first adventurers from the outer world.
"Jade Chan! Where are you!?"
Jackie Chan and Uncle shouted desperately.
Their voices echoed through the night, overflowing with worry and hope as they searched for Jade's silhouette.
They had risked everything to come here—
all for Jade Chan.
But they still found nothing.
Then—
A familiar figure appeared before them like a ghost.
A tall, muscular man with blazing red hair, red eyebrows, and a thick red beard.
His blue vest and pants, along with heavy brown wristbands, belt, and boots, made him look like a walking fortress.
Hak Foo's grin spread the moment he saw Jackie.
His expression was already picking a fight.
"Jackie! Watch the move—Crow Flies Over the Plane!!"
"Hak Foo!? Black Tiger Hak Foo!?"
Jackie's eyes widened.
Hak Foo, one of the earliest members of the Black Hand Gang.
His appearance was like dropping a boulder into a lake—
ripples exploded everywhere.
After Tohru left, Valmont brought Hak Foo in as a new powerhouse—
a martial monster tall as a mountain and one of Jackie's strongest rivals.
Hak Foo jumped high, swooping down like a hungry predator.
But halfway through the dive—
An invisible force crushed the air, slamming down like a meteor.
THUD!!
Hak Foo smashed into the ground, pinned by a pressure he couldn't fight.
Jackie sighed.
"It looks like this place has strict rules… no fighting allowed."
He ignored Hak Foo and turned away, resuming his search for Jade Chan.
"Jackie! How many times must Uncle explain before you learn!? Why don't you ever think before you act!?"
Uncle's voice scolded from behind as he hurried over.
Uncle followed him, and beside them stood a towering wrestler wearing a bull-head mask and a matching uniform.
"Uncle!"
Jackie spun around.
Behind was Uncle…
Jackie quickly rushed up to greet him.
"Jackie, long time no see."
Uncle smiled warmly.
"Why are you here?"
Jackie asked.
Uncle pushed his glasses up while holding a glowing pufferfish.
"Uncle just returned from the police station and found your ridiculous note! Uncle thought you two were tricked by demons again!"
"Then a flash of golden light appeared—and poof! Uncle arrived here!"
Uncle glanced around carefully.
"There is no evil aura here. Uncle senses no malice at all. Perhaps… this is not demon magic."
Then he scratched his head.
"I came because I heard this place could help me become the strongest wrestler."
Suddenly, Hak Foo staggered up again.
His eyes were wide with disbelief—he simply refused to accept what happened.
But he still charged in again.
"A tornado destroys the parking lot!!"
WHAM!!
He was flattened again, slammed by an unseen force.
But Hak Foo wasn't done yet.
He pushed himself up and roared:
"Black Tiger Takes Out the Heart!!"
BAM!!
He dropped like a rock again.
"Why!? Why can't I hit Jackie!?"
Hak Foo pounded the ground in frustration, unable to understand.
"He said—he told me if I came here, I'd finally defeat Jackie!!"
Jackie's face turned serious.
"It seems… the person who brought us here told something different to each of us."
"And these rules… Uncle, what do we do now?"
Before Jackie could finish—
POP!!
"OW!! Uncle!! That hurts!!"
Uncle flicked Jackie sharply on the head with two fingers.
"Of course we must find Jade Chan quickly! But you cannot panic!"
Uncle scolded him sternly.
"There are no signs of magic here. We must take things one step at a time."
"And another thing!"
"You must remember the rules clearly! If you break even one… the punishment will be severe! Just look at Hak Foo!"
