Chapter 152 - Chapter 146: Battle of the Gods

"Wakanda?"

Hearing that Wakanda was damaged, Audreyf and the others couldn't help but look at Ron, his eyes subtly shifting.

"I remember that during the Fear Itself event, after Kuurth was freed, he had the Godhammer seek out eight Worthy to create fear for him, helping him recover his strength.

One of those Worthy was Hulk, so is Hulk involved again this time?"

However, even if Hulk was controlled, he didn't panic in the slightest, asking calmly, "What is the extent of the damage to Wakanda?"

No matter how strong Hulk was, Wakanda had a superhuman army. Not to mention defeating him head-on, moving him out of Wakanda was not a problem.

What's more, there was Black Bolt. Even if he was concerned about the city and its residents and couldn't use his sonic scream, his physical strength was not bad.

"A green monster, manipulated by Kuurth's Godhammer, caused destruction in the city for a while.

Although there were some casualties, later in your territory, many superhumans emerged. Led by a silent man, they contained that monster.

A large dog with teleportation abilities quickly teleported it away."

Heimdall described what he had seen earlier.

Hulk, having become a Worthy, only managed to cause some damage in Wakanda by catching them off guard.

Once the defenses reacted quickly, Black Bolt led the Inhumans powerhouses and the superhuman army, who had taken temporary Compound V, into a great battle with Hulk Banner.

Even though they didn't gain the upper hand, they successfully contained him, preventing him from causing further destruction.

Later, in the chaotic battle, Lockjaw bit Hulk and teleported him away, to the waters of the Arctic Ocean.

Black Bolt wanted to subdue Banner and bring him back to Wakanda. In the uninhabited sea, he had no more reservations. With a loud roar, he unleashed towering waves, shattering glaciers for dozens of miles.

The controlled and mindless Hulk was no match, but relying on the power of the Godhammer, he painfully flew away.

After listening to Heimdall, Thor and Sif were somewhat shocked. They hadn't expected that Ron not only possessed immense personal strength, but also had subordinates who were so powerful, even stronger than those chosen by the Godhammer and imbued with divine power.

"Ron, I apologize.

If you hadn't been invited by our Bifrost Bridge, your country might not have been affected," Thor said apologetically after realizing the situation.

Although the situation wasn't severe, there were still national casualties. If Ron had stayed in Midgard, his country might not have been affected.

It was all because he was brought to Asgard by the Bifrost Bridge that Ron wasn't in his own country, giving Kuurth an opportunity.

Moreover, the mastermind behind everything was inextricably linked to Asgard. For this, he should apologize.

Ron shook his head slightly, indicating it was nothing, and spoke indifferently, "Kuurth wants to increase his strength through fear. Even if I let him increase it as he pleases, he will hardly become a threat.

But I cannot let him continue to run wild on Earth."

He was not afraid that the Serpent, with the divine authority of a God of Fear, could catch up to him, who mastered the power of fear. But given the current situation, he couldn't let him continue to act recklessly on Earth.

"To dare to set his sights on my territory, absorbing the fear of my citizens to increase his strength, he will witness what true fear is!"

He clenched his fist slightly, and a deep light of fear surged in his palm, causing everyone's minds to freeze, captivated by it.

"Of course."

Shaking his head to clear it, Thor nodded heavily, his eyes filled with worry.

Their Asgardian matters had implicated Midgard.

It was once again. His father had once again placed dangerous individuals in Midgard, hoping Midgard could shield Asgard from disaster.

"Father, I'm afraid I cannot approve of your actions."

After some discussion, led by Ron, they prepared to activate the Bifrost Bridge to descend upon Earth and stop Kuurth's actions.

"Global casualties are constantly increasing.

The numbers from the post-disaster casualty statistics in Paris are unprecedented.

Today alone, forty-seven cities in the United States suffered disasters.

Frightened people around the World are abandoning cities, dragging their families to hide in the wild. Humanity is clearly suffering an unprecedented blow."

"Do you feel it?

My daughter."

On the ocean, the Serpent's wooden staff transformed into an axe-hammer. He threw his head back and laughed wildly, raising his weapon, absorbing the fear from all over the World.

"Their will has collapsed, their spirits have crumbled, like stray dogs with their tails tucked, only wanting to flee.

Fear! This Planet is now filled with fear."

"Father, the time for your return to the throne has come!"

Cynthia, kneeling beside him, said with fervent expression, "You are right.

It is time. Come back, my messengers.

You have done well."

Earth was filled with fear like an ocean. Without his Worthy needing to act as gods, he sent a summons to his eight Fear Messengers.

"The final battle is imminent, you should return to my command!"

"Victory is ahead, I will reclaim everything that is mine!"

Except for Cynthia, the other seven Worthy, upon receiving the command, rapidly flew towards the Pacific Ocean at dozens of times the speed of sound.

Swish!

A seven-colored pillar of light descended from the sky.

Several figures appeared from within, behind them a host of cold and stern Asgardian soldiers piloting airships!

"Thor, my nephew, you've grown so big?"

Looking at Thor, who held an axe in his left hand among the crowd, the Serpent let out a hateful sneer. He immediately recognized Thor through their blood connection.

"And you, my niece, you're actually not dead?"

He then turned to look at Audreyf, his eyes filled with coldness.

From the bloodline sensation, the Serpent had long since sensed that his brother Odin, who had driven him from the throne and sealed him, had disappeared from this World.

But the hatred in his heart had not diminished by half, transferring to Odin's children, Thor and Audreyf.

"Kuurth, you have harmed too many people, your crimes are unforgivable."

Audreyf and Thor faced this uncle they had never met, their expressions cold.

"Heh, who are you?"

The Serpent sneered, completely indifferent, his gaze like a venomous snake fixed on Ron, who was between the two. He frowned.

"You are standing in the center of the Asgardian army, yet I don't know you."

Odin was dead, and his nephew and niece should, by rights, have inherited the throne, but the person standing in the center of the army, giving orders and acting as the leader, he didn't recognize.

"Serpent, you have been buried beneath this ocean for thousands of years. Earth is no longer as you know it.

You shouldn't have been so presumptuous in my territory."

Ron said coldly.

The power of fear, invisible to ordinary people, continuously converged around the Serpent in the void, almost forming a vortex around him.

Even as he spoke, the Serpent's strength continued to increase.

But in his eyes, it was still not enough.

"Your territory?"

The Serpent was puzzled for a moment, then laughed wildly with disdain: "No matter where you came from.

You and all of you, you simply don't know how strong the power I now wield is."

He pointed his axe-hammer at Ron, then at Thor and the other.

"Even if your father, my brother Odin, were to resurrect, he would have to kneel before me!"

Arrogance and cruelty were inherent in the Serpent's character. After his power reached an unprecedented level, he displayed his inner arrogance without reservation!

Bang, bang, bang!

Several figures flew at supersonic speeds from the horizon, like gods of destruction, exuding powerful auras. They landed behind the Serpent, their faces emotionless, not saying a word, standing in his faction.

Thor and the others were on high alert. They felt an extremely strong threat from each person.

"Be careful, the weakest among them is close to my level before I inherited my father's divine power."

He said with a startled expression, reminding them in a deep voice.

"Some are even no less than my current self!"

Thor's gaze was solemn, falling on one of the eight, a man with a somewhat military demeanor and the only one whose armor had a red cape. His face had sharp features, and his steel body exuded powerful pressure.

"The eight Worthy."

His eyes scanned the figures, and Ron saw many familiar faces among them, as well as some unfamiliar ones.

The most conspicuous among them was a humanoid monster resembling a lizard, with deep green eyes, nearly three meters tall, and a thick tail.

"Even if I haven't seen him before, it's not hard to recognize him as Dr. Lizard at a glance."

Curtis Scott Connors, formerly an excellent military doctor, became a university biology Professor after retiring from the army. Having lost his right arm in the war, he had been researching limb regeneration technology in a laboratory under Osborn Corporation.

Later, inspired by the lizard's ability to regrow its tail, he developed an immature serum containing lizard DNA. He recklessly injected it into himself, successfully regenerating his severed arm, but at the same time, he transformed into a half-human, half-lizard monster.

He was a frequent antagonist of Spider-Man, with power comparable to Spider-Man.

Besides him, there were also old faces: Captain America, Wonder Man, Hulk, and Hyperion.

"Even Hyperion's mind was manipulated by the Godhammer?"

Seeing Hyperion, he raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised.

During the Battle of New York, Ron had tested Hyperion's mental resistance with his psychic abilities; logically, this shouldn't have happened.

However, he didn't care. His current power was no longer on the same level as Hyperion's, even after some enhancement by the Fear Godhammer.

There were three other Worthy. With a sweep of his psychic abilities, their identities also became clear.

"My messengers, crush the enemies before me."

With the eight Worthy gathered, the Serpent's eyes gleamed with killing intent, his face ferocious, and he commanded coldly.

All eight Worthy immediately prepared to unleash their attacks.

He raised his axe-hammer, and a huge magic circle appeared on the sea surface.

"My Fear Demon Soldiers, awaken from your slumber!"

One by one, monstrous demon soldiers, like gargoyles, emerged from the magic circle, with huge wings.

"Kill.

I will lead you to reclaim the Heavenly Palace and receive the worship of the Nine Realms!"

The Serpent suddenly waved his hand, and the overwhelming demon soldiers were about to charge out.

Bang!

Two figures suddenly appeared, one man and one dog.

"Your Majesty."

Black Bolt, wearing an Iron Man Suit that provided flight, bowed to Ron in greeting.

After returning to Earth, Ron had used his psychic abilities to notify Black Bolt, asking him to come, which would be a help.

Black Bolt turned and saw the overwhelming Fear Demon Soldiers charging. He opened his mouth and let out a roar.

"In the presence of the Emperor, how dare you be disrespectful!"

The terrifying sonic scream spread out mightily. The demon soldiers, which the Serpent had just summoned with considerable effort, all wailed and were pulverized.

"Damn it!"

Except for the Serpent, whose body remained motionless amidst this mountain-destroying attack, Hyperion was thrown dozens of meters away.

The other seven Worthy were all sent flying backward.

"Kill them for me!"

The demon soldier army vanished in an instant. The Serpent, enraged and humiliated, roared.

The eight Worthy raised their Godhammers and charged.

"Deal with them, my warriors."

Thor roared and, together with Audreyf, led the Asgardian army forward.

He swung his Stormbreaker and went for Hyperion, while Audreyf stood with the cumbersome Dr. Lizard.

In mid-air, Ron stood unmoving.

"I am the Breaker of Authority, prepare to die!"

A tall, stout figure, with a bloated body and a ferocious face, raised his Godhammer and charged first.

He glanced at him.

Kingpin, Wilson Grant Fisk, the archenemy of Spider-Man and Daredevil, was the biggest crime boss in New York and even the entire United States.

He was cunning and meticulous, with intelligence far beyond ordinary people. Beneath his seemingly fat body, over ninety percent was muscle, giving him astonishing strength. He could punch through a wall with his bare hands and was a top-tier martial artist.

"Authority!

A gang leader dares to call himself authority!"

Ron raised a finger and said indifferently.

A street villain unexpectedly got involved in this kind of battle.

Whoosh!

A powerful ray of fear-light pierced Kingpin's head. He was instantly killed, and his corpse fell into the sea.

Kingpin's strength was limited; even enhanced by the Godhammer, he couldn't withstand a single blow from Ron.

"Kneel before the Master and beg for his forgiveness!"

After Kingpin's death, two more figures charged. One was a tall, muscular woman, exuding a fierce aura.

The other was a bald man with a fierce expression, his entire body transformed into indestructible metal, of the same material and color as the Godhammer in his hand.

Both exuded terrifying killing intent and swung their hammers to attack.

Ron's expression was unmoving, as if the figures before him were merely harmless illusions.

His gaze slightly focused on the man.

"Absorbing Man Karl Creel, originally a criminal in the comics, possesses the ability to absorb any material he touches, and often clashes with Hulk and Thor."

He can mimic any material he has touched by altering his body's molecular structure. During the mimicry process, his strength, durability, and resistance to impact are all enhanced to varying degrees.

He possesses regenerative abilities. In his mimicking and assimilation form, if certain parts of his body are damaged or severed, he can reconnect them and then revert to human form. He also possesses some psychic abilities, allowing him to control the thoughts and consciousness of others.

Because of the potential of his abilities, he has many highlight moments in the comics.

"In the Fear Itself event, he was originally one of the eight Worthy chosen by Kuurth, and that hasn't changed now."

The other woman charging with him was Absorbing Man's wife, Titania.

Her real name is Mary MacPherran. She was actually very weak as a child. In the comics, she later gained superpowers through magical Renovation by Dr. Doom, acquiring superhuman strength and durability, and after that, she directly chose to join the villain team created by Dr. Doom, becoming She-Hulk's archenemy.

The two attacking him now were a husband and wife.

Ron did not move. Black Bolt's figure flashed and appeared before him, his brow furrowed. His brainwaves transcribed into sound, he roared in anger: "You two, as Inhumans, dare to attack the Emperor of the Inhumans!"
