"The person in charge of a project was driven to suicide by some leaders among you. Is this true?"
Rasco Shaw posed the question.
The meeting room erupted into noise.
Everyone looked at each other, questioning each other furiously.
"Silence!"
Norman Ross tapped the table with his hand.
The room quieted down immediately.
He paused and said, "Governor Rasco, this incident involves some leaders and hasn't been made public yet. However, the Police Department has already taken appropriate measures. Once the matter is clarified, we will report truthfully to the State Committee."
"Clarified? When will it be clarified? How will it be clarified?"
Rasco Shaw asked three questions in quick succession.
Norman Ross pretended to be at a loss for words.
Rasco Shaw seeing this, said, "Mayor Ross, please recount the event in front of everyone."
