A group of hooded witches circled eachother while holding hands and chanting. In the middle of them was a salt circle. Laying in the middle of the circle was a young man with shaggy blonde hair. He was pinned down by metal stakes driven into his hands and feet.

At the center of the chanting witches was one who stood out among them all. While they were hooded, she was not. Dark black hair that seemed to suck in the little light around, and glowing green eyes. She spoke, her voice resonating throughout the chamber, "it is complete."

She quickly grabbed a glass cup and uncorked the cauldron she'd been mixing the ingredients with. It quickly emptied into the glass and she walked it almost reverently toward the young man pinned down in a state of dreams thanks to merlock orchid.

Kneeling down she opened the young man's mouth and poured the elixer in, gently rubbing his throat to get him to swallow. "Such a shame," she muttered under her breath looking at the peaceful face of the young man who's life she was about to destroy all in an attempt to get revenge on the originals.

Quickly shaking those thoughts away, she raised a hand to either side of his face and with a loud *snap* her plan was finished.

The first thing I notice upon waking up is pain. Pain in my head, in my hands, in my teeth. Everything hurt.

I tried reaching up to rub my eyes in some vain attempt at normalcy amidst the pain. But trying to move my hand caused the pain to increase tenfold.

Deciding I can do without the sleep being rubbed from my eyes, they shoot open like rusty window shutters in a hurricane and I look to the source of my biggest pain, my hand. I can tell it's dark but I can still see fine, while that's weird my main concern is the sight that greeted me when looking for the source of pain.

A large railroad spike looked to be driven through my hand. My breath immediately began coming out in short, desperate gasps as the reality of my situation settled on me. Looking back to my right I see my other hand in the same predicament while my feet were chained to the floor with shackles.

I began to panic, thinking I'd been kidnapped to be used in some kind of devil ritual. With a strength of will I didn't know I had, I ripped my hands off the spikes using the same method one did for an arrow, just pull it all the way through.

"Aaaahhh" I scream in agony and release as my hands are free of the spikes. I sit up and take a couple deep breaths. The pain goes away fast, and as I look at my hands I see why. The holes on my palms and backs of my hands begin closing in on themselves. "What the fuck?" I say out loud.

Just as I'm about to begin pulling the shackles on my feet off I hear voices coming toward me. "I heard a scream. It means he's awake." A woman's voice said.

Another answered, "he's awake far too early. Madam won't he happy."

The first one replied, "I know. She's on her way as well. We must ensure he stays down until she gets here."

I knew then that I didn't want to find out who these people were. Again with a strength I didn't know I possessed, I grabbed the shackles and ripped them from my feet with ease.

Deciding my questions could wait to be answered I began to run toward the corner to sneak out past the group headed my way when I was suddenly there in an instant.

I didn't have time to question it though when the door swung open revealing two hooded figures.

Neither one of them spoke before I launched myself at them from the shadows. I decided that the situation I was in called for lethal reaction.

In less than a second both women lay on the cold ground of the cave we seemed to be in. I was about to move on when something told me to stop. I looked back at the two dead bodies and saw the slight trickle of blood leaking from one of their noses. The one I'd killed via a snapped neck.

Something came over me and I picked it up with my finger and licked it. After that I felt like I'd begun to grow new teeth in Mouth which hurt terribly. "Ah," I exclaimed shortly before a hunger came over me and I couldn't keep a clear head. I dove toward the woman's neck and began drinking.

After draining the body, I decided I had to go. I did that blurring thing again and found myself outside in no time. I was atop a small mountain with a village down below me. It was nighttime and I used that to my advantage, deciding to get as far away from here as possible under the cover of darkness.

I could see many hooded figures from the village which told me my instincts were right. It's time to go far far away from here. In an instant I was moving as fast as car through the woods toward any sort of normalcy.

Seeing the carnage left behind by the beast they'd created had all the witches shaking. Most in fear, but in the head mistress it was rage. Her weapon had been let loose before the appropriate time. "Damn it!" She yelled into the night sky knowing it was gone. The beast was supposed to be stronger than an original, letting him escape was the last thing that they could've let happen and it did.

She knew he'd be long gone by now, moving at vampiric speed no being would be able to match he'd be miles away at least. She hadn't even taken a sample of his blood to use in case of emergency yet. The merlock orchid should've kept him down and out for at least another couple of hours.

The worst part? We'd made an abomination that didn't play by the rules set by vampires. One of the main reasons we'd chosen the boy is because of his bloodline, a werewolf. Who better than a wolf to take down the original monster?

That added to the other 7 wolf venom from all seven packs, along with the white oak stake and blood from a mikaelson we'd acquired painstakingly during their recent 'trouble' in New Orleans via the original hunter.

The siblings had gone underground for now, no doubt hiding from their father. The beast was supposed to be a weapon aimed and fired, but now that's lost.

We can't give up though, "find the beast. We mustn't let him roam free, not only for our plans but for the safety of all those around him." A chorus of nods is what she received.

They would find him, they had too.
