The world of One Piece! Minion Island, North Blue!

A chilling north wind howled, carrying bone-piercing cold snow. Two figures, one large and one small, trudged laboriously towards the castle atop the island's mountain peak.

"Law, don't worry. The Op-Op Fruit will definitely cure your illness. Definitely." Corazon, cloaked in a black feather coat with clown-like makeup around his right eye and mouth, continuously comforted Law.

"I know." Law wasn't worried about that at all.

Law, whose body was now inhabited by Chu Qi from Earth, knew the future plot. His concern wasn't if he would get the Op-Op Fruit, but rather what path to take after getting it. Chu Qi was an Earthling, who grew up in an orphanage. After the orphanage fell into disrepair, he became homeless at twelve. Eventually, he became a gang leader in a certain district of a certain city. The domestic situation ultimately led Chu Qi to America with a considerable amount of money, where he opened a weapon shop. Chu Qi's passion was guns, especially old-fashioned ones. He knew various classic firearms from World War I and II like the back of his hand.

Three days ago, a stray bullet accidentally hit the shooting range, and he inexplicably transmigrated into the world of One Piece, becoming Trafalgar Law. Unfortunately, at this point, Law was already gravely ill and utterly weak. Corazon had already been on his way to Minion Island with Law, so he couldn't arrive any earlier than in the original story.

"What should I do after obtaining the Op-Op Fruit?" This was the central focus of Law's thoughts and worries. Getting caught by Doflamingo? That was absolutely unacceptable; it meant losing his freedom!

"Even if I get the Op-Op Fruit, being alone on the vast sea would be difficult, right? And with Doflamingo breathing down my neck, I can't just hide for many years before entering the Grand Line like in the original story, can I?" Law couldn't help but look at Corazon. "I need a safer environment, a place more conducive to improving my strength. Then he is key." Corazon's strength was decent, but he wasn't considered a powerhouse. Law valued not his strength, but his identity as a Marine spy. Marine Headquarters seemed like a good place; safety was guaranteed. It was teeming with powerhouses, which would naturally help him improve his strength.

As for a Marine identity? Marine? Pirate? In Law's eyes, they were just identities. He had never intended to submit to any organization or individual, nor did he possess the grand ideal of dedicating his life to someone.

"I absolutely cannot let Corazon die like in the original story. So, I must obtain the Op-Op Fruit faster than in the original, leave this island faster, and absolutely avoid encountering Doflamingo." Law gritted his teeth, pushing his ailing body to its limits, just to be one step faster.

He could already see the castle.

Minutes later...

He finally reached the foot of the snow-covered mountain. The castle stood on a hill.

"Law, just wait here. Don't worry, I will definitely get the Op-Op Fruit for you. It will definitely cure your illness." Corazon said with rare seriousness. "You hide here first."

"Okay." Law crawled behind a nearby snowdrift. At the same time, he took out the long gun wrapped in bandages from his back. He lay prone, his gaze fixed on Corazon, who was rapidly running towards the distant mountain castle.

This fearsome long gun was roughly similar to ordinary long guns on the sea, but many details were different. As a weapon shop owner, Law was familiar with all kinds of firearms, especially those from the early 19th century. However, ordinary firearms in the One Piece world could only be compared to 18th-century Earth firearms. Their power, accuracy, and range were far too inferior, with a range of only tens of meters. Law couldn't manufacture 21st-century Earth firearms. But he could modify these low-quality long guns to improve their accuracy and range. The gun in his hand now was a modified one. It didn't look much different, but its range could reach two hundred meters. It still couldn't compare to Earth's World War I and II rifles, but in the One Piece world, it was already a decent firearm.

As for marksmanship, a weapon shop owner wouldn't lack opportunities to practice marksmanship, would he? He had long since mastered it.

"It's temporarily the same as in the original, but Corazon, that idiot, will definitely be seriously injured because he's missing a beat. He'll have to rely on me." Law's rifle scope remained fixed on Corazon. Gravely ill, he was completely weak, and the only thing he could use was the gun in his hand.

"He went in." Corazon finally rushed into the castle, and Law's heart couldn't help but pound faster.

"Rumble!"

After a moment, an explosion echoed from the castle. Black smoke billowed from the windows. After a tense wait, two minutes later, amidst intense explosions and gunfire, a black shadow leaped out of a window, rushing frantically down the mountain. It was Corazon.

...

Excited but calm. Street brawls had given Law a calmness beyond ordinary people. In the snow, he maintained absolute focus. Even though his illness had reached an unbearable stage, he dared not be careless!

"Damn it, grab that damned thief for me! That's the Op-Op Fruit! That's a fifty-billion transaction!" Dozens of pirates burst out of the shattered castle. Led by their pirate captain, they chased after Corazon. But Corazon had already run far, and his speed wasn't slow. They couldn't catch up.

"Bang!" The wildly running Corazon unexpectedly tripped and fell to the ground. Not far away were several pirates. "That idiot, he would do that." Law cursed under his breath. This careless guy was bound to make mistakes.

"Kill him!" The pirates surrounded him, their guns raised.

"Oh no." Corazon hugged the Op-Op Fruit tightly. When he stood up, he was already surrounded by several pirates. In this situation, by the time he dealt with these pirates, the pursuing forces behind him would have closed in. So, everything would be like in the original, Corazon would finally fight his way out, heavily wounded.

"Kill him!"

"Bang!" A bullet came from afar, instantly piercing the head of the shouting pirate.

"Bang!" Another gunshot. A pirate near Corazon fell to the ground.

"Oh no, the enemy has allies." The pirates, terrified, lay prone on the ground, looking around.

"Bang!" Another pirate.

"Allies?" Corazon curiously looked around. He knew that only he and Law were here. Could it be Law, that kid?

"That idiot, why is he still standing there like a fool? Run!" Law continuously aimed and fired, cursing Corazon, who stood still like an idiot. Even being careless has its limits, right?

"Kill him, retrieve the Op-Op Fruit." Barreled, the former Marine Major and now pirate captain, roared. His roar finally made Corazon understand that he needed to run. He rushed frantically towards where Law was hiding. But now, the pirates were already close to Corazon. He was within their firing range.

"Calm down. When firing, a calm mind is crucial." Law continuously took deep breaths. He couldn't deal with dozens of pirates at once. So now, it was a test of timing.

"Bang!" A bullet shot towards Barreled's head, piercing his brain. The pirate captain fell to the ground, causing panic and fear among the pirates. However, driven by the lure of fifty billion, the pirates still chased after Corazon. A pirate raised his gun, aiming at Corazon, but a bullet was faster than him, instantly piercing his head. Any pirate who raised a gun to shoot was instantly killed by a bullet from afar. Death finally awakened the pirates from their greed. Only deep fear remained. They screamed and scattered.

Corazon, no longer pursued, quickly rushed to Law's hiding place. "Law, well done." Corazon looked in surprise at Law, who had put away his gun and stood up. He showed off the Op-Op Fruit in his hand like a treasure.

"Give it to me!"
