Chapter 236 - Cap.223 - Punishments

When the Trihexa descended upon the planet Aquamarine, this time in full view of everyone, it shocked all the countries. They didn't have the players' information, but when they saw the spaceship landing on Hell, the leaders of the 6 nations went frantic, sending out communication requests to Melissa in sync.

Melissa knew this would happen, so she opened a conference call directly with the other six nations. Basically, she informed them that the ship belonged to an organization allied with Hell, and any other questions were deflected, Melissa didn't want to give too much information to those guys.

If she said the spaceship belonged to Ringo, that is, Hell, those guys would pester her all day long to help them get to space and share the technology.

The leader of Hesla even wanted to make a private call after the conference ended, clearly trying to use old relationships to get something, but Melissa let her assistant answer. She, on the other hand, pretended not to be there, causing the leader of Hesla to only hang up resignedly.

Melissa knew this wasn't the end, these guys were politicians, and politicians tended to look for loopholes everywhere to get what they wanted. If they weren't the weaker side, they would have already started planning to attack Hell. Melissa knew that even Hesla would participate, she herself had been a high-ranking officer in Hesla, so she knew very well how they operated.

In fact, even as the weaker party, she was certain that these guys were already privately arguing against the measures.

The players from Throne of Gods and Golden Orange were the most excited, standing at the landing site, under the gaze of thousands of players who squeezed from afar to be able to see the event, they boarded with straight backs and proud looks.

Some of the players wanted to take advantage of the excitement to try and sneak in. The players didn't know anything like fear, especially the newbies who had nothing to lose. Luckily, Melissa had assigned dozens of Super Grade C players to guard the place. The moment any attempt happened, the players were not only eliminated on the spot, but also blacklisted by Hell, and killed and restrained on sight.

Of course, for the players, it was just a matter of starting a new account, the risk was worth it. Especially for newcomers and casual gamers.

Ringo didn't have any good solutions for that either, those guys were too chaotic, one of the reasons Ringo wanted to stay away from them.

On the spaceship, as soon as all the players boarded, Ringo appeared, or rather, Black Spider.

After months, Black Spider had already reached Grade A on his own. Ringo had acquired compatible Esper abilities that he used to help Black Spider advance. Of course, he didn't gain any new Esper abilities, Ringo only used the compatible abilities to force Black Spider's Esper power to evolve.

Upon reaching Grade A, Black Spider's power became even stronger.

His cloning ability grew to the point where he could generate clones directly from thin air, in fact, he gained a "cloning field" as he advanced, allowing him to create clones from anywhere within the field. Furthermore, he could generate specific body parts, not necessarily complete bodies, similar to Nico Robin's Hana Hana no Mi.

Another effect is that Black Spider could now freely move between his clones, each clone was real and each clone was fake. Within his "Cloning Field", he could transfer his consciousness at any time.

He could even divide his soul into more than one part, each inhabiting a clone. This basically guaranteed greater independence to the clones, but it was also a danger if his weaker soul were destroyed by another Super.

In the end, Black Spider got stronger, which was a good thing.

The players looked curiously at the members of Triple Six, no matter where they looked, the same message of "Fatally Dangerous" appeared everywhere.

Black Spider, Hila, and Eva weren't the only ones to advance.

Trax was already at the top of Grade B when Ringo caught him, the Jabromater's beast had also reached Grade A, yet he was still far from dealing with his enemy, Heber.

Vanessa and Korak were at the top of Grade B, Rick also got into Grade B, Slugcat... well, she was in Grade B, more because of Ringo's help than anything else, she barely trained, she just hopped around, Ringo got her some Esper powers that improved her concealment.

Vanessa was standing behind Hila, the woman was quickly captivated by Hila's style, she practically always walked with her.

Korak, now with a clear mind and Slugcat swinging on his shoulder, seemed much gentler, however, when he fought, that same gentle face was what his enemies saw as their skin melted and their souls burned.

Trax was standing next to Rick, the 'Tigerman' looked at the recruits with a mocking gaze, Rick, beside him, was looking at the female players with interest, unfortunately for him, there is no clothing removal function for the players, their underwear is all "parts" of their bodies.

Otherwise, Han Xiao would have already paid the players to piss on Ringo's statue.

In addition to them, behind these "officers", a group of Black Spider clones, wearing uniforms with helmets, stood in formation with weapons drawn, there were 100 of them, and Black Spider could keep out many more now.

The most absurd thing was that each of the clones had Grade A strength, even though they were only the worst type of Grade A, which would lose to any other Grade A, still, they were all Grade A.

Imagine a scene where hundreds of Grade A Supers go on a rampage, destroying everything in their path, it would take minutes for a large planet to be destroyed.

Ringo also used the DNA of various space spiders to advance Black Spider, now he can change into arachnid form at any time.

Not only that, but when he clones himself, he can directly create spider-mode clones. This might make it seem that when he advanced to Grade A, his ability allowed him to generate humanoid spiders, not that his initial ability was cloning.

Thus, if he needs to escape, except for mages and psychics, hardly anyone would notice anything. With Ringo's clone inside him, even if they did notice, it would be difficult to stop them.

The players also saw the information on these "soldiers", each with a "Fatally Dangerous" rating, making them even more nervous.

The players were uneasy, but in the end, they were players, the fear passed very quickly, replaced by evident excitement, to be part of such a powerful organization...

-Welcome, I'm Black Spider, the leader of Triple Six.- Black Spider said, there was an obvious tone of disinterest in his voice. This was calculated by Ringo, if he got too close to these guys, giving them a hand, they would take not only his arm, but his whole body.

To deal with the players, it's best to maintain a perspective that clear punishments will be given for inappropriate behavior, but the rewards will be enough to keep them interested. For now, being able to go to space and belong to such a powerful organization, especially one focused on mercenary missions, is enough to keep these guys entertained.

Thus, Black Spider spoke directly about punishments for things like harassment, betrayal, theft, etc.

Knowing what the players were like, Black Spider directly stated that they would be frozen in a state of stasis and abandoned on some inhospitable planet out there if they messed up. Killing them wouldn't help, nor would expelling them, only rendering their accounts useless might scare the players away.

Sure, the newbies didn't care much about that, but everyone here is a professional player who has spent months leveling up their accounts, they wouldn't give them up so easily.

This is much easier for Ringo, although he doesn't yet have the Space-Time Amber, he can still freeze them and abandon them on some inhospitable planet or space rock, unable to die or move, they will only be able to stay there.

Even if they disconnect to try and escape without dying, they won't be able to get out of the ice. Maybe they'll get lucky and be found, maybe not, and it wouldn't be Ringo's problem anymore.

For this, he needed Lena to design several of these "stasis" weapons, which froze without killing, and he equipped all the members of T6, except Slugcat of course, with them.

Ringo didn't feel he was exaggerating, if a player happened to find someone who gave a mission with huge rewards for the player to kill their protection target, they would turn their backs on it immediately.

For the players, rewards defined their 'lives'; Ringo needed to create a balance so they understood that their actions had consequences, consequences that would make even the reward not worthwhile.

Even so, with enough players, there will still be some 'smart' ones who will find 'loopholes', fortunately, at that point, Ringo only took a small fraction of those 'unquiet guys'.

The players stood taller, with more serious faces, the punishment Black Spider promised truly frightened the players, although they didn't like being restrained, the benefits outweighed the costs.

In the end, all the players promised to abide by the rules, after which Black Spider left, leaving Eva and Hila to deal with those guys.
