Ringo was in a dark, locked room, staring at a hibernation capsule with a man sealed inside, asleep.
He was wearing a metal muzzle, sleeping peacefully. Ringo knew that even if he woke him, he wouldn't look any different from a dead man, but he didn't wake him.
Ringo initially avoided approaching him, Destiny's Child, a Primal Esper Ability Entity, to be more precise, this man in front of him is just one of the many "eyes" of the Primal Esper Ability Entity known as Destiny's Child.
Nevertheless, he possesses the power to see and even alter the future.
Ringo didn't know how to deal with him, he was a cautious person by nature and had avoided contact with him, but the base was about to be abandoned, so he decided to end it quickly.
After much thought, he decided it was too much of a waste not to use this guy. As for using him? Analyze it.
Ringo opened the capsule and placed his hand on his chest, in the next moment, his energy flooded Destiny's Child. Ringo wasn't really expecting anything, at most, it was a rather unique and more dangerous test than he wanted to admit.
But forecasting skills are rare and he didn't want to miss that opportunity.
So, after a long struggle, he ended up here.
As for using a clone for that? It doesn't make sense, a life form based on information, whether it's itself or a clone, makes no difference.
So Ringo began his analysis.
Genes? Extremely common.
But there was something there, almost illusory, if he didn't have the "Hidden Nightmare" ability, he wouldn't even have noticed it. But it was through this ability that he deepened a connection.
It was weak, but it was there, nearby, he felt something, it seemed like energy, but it wasn't, it wasn't anything he had felt before.
But as he continually tried to analyze what it was, he was shocked to see Destiny's Child's eyes open!
The next moment, Ringo froze, he seemed to leave his body as a mass of information flooded his brain. It was such a large amount that he thought he would explode, but it only lasted a fraction of a second. The next moment, he remembered nothing.
He remembered receiving the information, but all the content he received simply disappeared.
While Ringo was shocked and wanted to pull his hand away, he watched as the man began to slowly disappear, at least, it seemed slow to him, but to a different observer, the man simply vanished.
But in reality, the host of Destiny's Child can only be seen by those whom he wishes.
Ringo was initially surprised to see him, but he didn't dwell on it much. He was certain the man had truly disappeared, not just been blacklisted for information.
Because Ringo felt something enter inside him!
Terrified, he quickly began to force all his energy into his body, searching for any anomaly, if he became a host for Destiny's Child, he would be truly screwed!
But no matter how you looked at him, he didn't look any different.
Instead, he felt strange, just like when he gained a new skill, he seemed to sense that there was something there that wasn't there before.
Thoughtful, still alert to any anomaly that he would force himself to evolve quickly to prevent, he left the room with heavy steps.
He regretted it, damn it! Why didn't he follow his usual mindset and stay out of trouble?!
Lena, who was outside the room, was surprised by Ringo's hurried departure. Just as she was about to ask, Ringo said. -It's nothing, I'm fine.
Lena raised an eyebrow and was about to say something else, but Ringo continued. -No, it was just an unforeseen event.
Lena was stunned, and before she could speak, Ringo stopped in his tracks, looking at her in confusion. -What do you mean, how did I know what you said? Didn't you just ask?
Lena opened her mouth in shock, speechless and just as she was about to reply, she saw Ringo's eyes widen.
-I... I'm seeing the future?- Ringo stared at his own hands in shock.
From Lena's perspective, Ringo was talking to himself, but from Ringo's perspective, he had a normal conversation with Lena!
He seemed to remember hearing her speak, but at the same time it felt strange, like déjà vu, an unsettling feeling of something that had happened, but had it really happened?
Ringo closed his eyes and began to use his energy to focus on this new ability, his thought? Control!
This was the first time he had to adapt to his own ability, there was nothing like it in his "database". The closest thing was Hidden Nightmare, but one was about hiding and the other about seeing, so he had to work alone for a while.
Lena wanted to ask, but Ringo spoke first. -Don't speak, wait a moment.
Right there, Ringo stood still as he continued to work internally, his energy leaking from his body illuminating the room with a familiar milky white light.
Ringo remained like that for over an hour, but Lena didn't dare move, afraid of interrupting whatever Ringo was doing.
Ringo finally took a deep breath, his energy rapidly dwindling. He'd finally figured it out, at least he'd discovered the switch, which relieved him.
-Say something.- Ringo asked.
Lena paused for a moment, looking at him thoughtfully, and spoke. -Are you alright?
-Yes, you said: "Are you alright?" - He asked to confirm.
Lena nodded, her expression a mixture of curiosity and concern.
Ringo sighed in relief as he continued to analyze this new ability, this time the energy didn't leave his body, he would take his time with that.
-Can you see the future?- Lena finally asked.
-Apparently, but it doesn't seem like I can actually see the future like Destiny's Child or even change the future, but... I seem to see a bit of the immediate future, as if my perception is a few seconds ahead. Luckily, I managed to control it quickly, if it were someone else, they would have had a lot of trouble.- Ringo shook his head, stunned by the situation.
Now everything was fine because he was in an enclosed space, but imagine if he were walking down the street and kept bumping into people because he would think he was walking in the future, not the present.
Besides the fact that the transition was varied, with some things progressing and others not, this made everything even more confusing.
This ability seemed very much like precognition, but the result, at least currently, was quite immediate, he could see what was happening to himself a few seconds into the future.
What this would become in the future was anyone's guess, but first he would need to learn how to control it.
-Don't talk about this with anyone.- Ringo turned to Lena and spoke seriously.
Lena nodded, her gaze growing more serious. She wasn't Eva, she could see how important this was. She even wished she could forget it. She knew Ringo could make her forget with his Nightmare abilities, but she also knew he wouldn't want to do that to her, so she preferred to remain silent and promise herself that if Ringo didn't change his order, she would take it to the grave.
Ringo took a deep breath, feeling that the adventure had gone a little beyond what he expected, but in the end, he came away with a new skill.
After expending so much energy, he felt tired. Rubbing his forehead lightly, he resumed walking.
The floor had no guards, before, the place was full of guards, but with the Hell organization, that was unnecessary.
Lena still had things to do, currently, she was the busiest member of the new "senior management", having to study and manage the entire organization. Ringo wanted to bring Melissa into the group, but he didn't know what she would say when she found out, so he was still avoiding the subject.
He kind of saw the woman as a second mother after associating her with his previous mother, which made him a little uncomfortable, unsure how to act around her.
Should he ignore her? She's his mother.
Should he obey her? She's not really his mother.
Confused.
So Ringo decided to procrastinate again, at least for as long as he could.
He changed direction and went to Eva, who was training a group of recruits.
Entering the training room, Eva was instructing a group of children, a blonde head with short hair clearly visible among them.
Since the current organization no longer needed the Leader of Germinal, Ringo let the clone roam the wilderness in search of talent.
Which are basically unawakened Super seeds.
Aquamarine doesn't have the technology to know if someone can or cannot become a Super, but who is Ringo? He can clearly see whether or not there is a "Super Gene" within someone with his evolutionary energy, so the clone has been wandering the three continents collecting talent.
The group of just over two dozen children are part of these new recruits.
Aurora seemed tired, but still happy, for her, being able to train with "friends" now was very positive, at least compared to her previous situation.
Eva looked at Ringo and narrowed her eyes, a slight smile appearing at the corner of her mouth.
-Alright, brats, out! Come back tomorrow at the same time. Anyone who's late will do double the training!- Eva shouted, her posture clearly military and the children trembled with fear near her. They quickly ran away when they were released.
Looking at Ringo with reverent eyes, they quickly shouted - Leader!
Ringo smiled at them and waved, they were very happy, but noticing Eva's hard eyes, they quickly ran away.
Except for Aurora, who approached with a smile.
