Ringo, on the other hand, arrived in Hesla, more specifically in the city of Aurora Wind, a coastal town with a hotel. He stepped off the plane with his little companions, Jack and Will, flanking him, but they now had short fur, Ringo was helping them adapt to the tropical climate. The climate here is very different from the northern winter, the pair were suffering without his help.
It would still take a while, but at least they could still endure.
With tongues lolling and wet noses, the chubby pair followed him, eliciting cute squeals from women of all ages.
Ringo went to the local Fabian company. He completely forgot his contempt for the company, or rather, he pretended not to remember.
He entered the place and released his aura just like last time. This time, his aura was much stronger, which greatly alarmed Antonio, the administrator, who quickly appeared.
His eyes narrowed when he saw him. He'd seen Ringo before in a company announcement, clearly stating. "Not to offend, but not to help too."
Furthermore, it listed him as a possible D Grade! But sensing his power, he was certain he was at least a C Grade!
Antonio cursed mentally and plastered a professional smile on his chubby face.
Ringo looked at the fat man with a barrel waist and seemed to vaguely remember Old Han's driver being as fat as a barrel.
He hadn't come here because it was the city Han Xiao appeared in, he'd simply been brought here when he asked to go to Hesla, a coastal city.
It was truly ironic.
-Sir, how can I help you today? - Antonio smiled slightly, as Ringo withdrew his aura.
-I want to rent a boat, it must be able to sail on the high seas. - Ringo said.
Antonio looked a little confused and asked. -Okay, how long?
-Two months. - Ringo thought for a moment and then said. He only wanted one, but he preferred to ask for two just in case.
-I can get a fully equipped 40-meter yacht, what do you think? - Antonio sighed and offered.
-Will do. - Ringo nodded.
-Two hundred and fifty thousand to rent and one million as a guarantee. When the boat is returned and inspected, the million will be returned. - Antonio spoke calmly. He didn't know Ringo, so the guarantee was mandatory.
Ringo thought for a moment and nodded. - First, I want to see the boat... also, i need you teach me how to sail.
Antonio's lips trembled, feeling that he did well to ask for the guarantee, but with such an "important" client, he sighed and agreed.
Later that day, Ringo was already at sea on a big white yacht bearing the Fabian company logo. He steered directly into the open sea with the two cubs looking around. If he hadn't stopped them, they would have been marking their territory on this luxurious vessel.
Ringo then launched his next plan.
He took out a steel cable he had purchased and tied it to the boat, then tied the other end to his waist before jumping into the sea.
Feeling the cold, salty water wash over him, he sighed lightly before beginning to swim, following the waterproof GPS on his wrist.
The boat behind him was slowly dragged along by his strong physique. His weight was redistributed by the water, making movement easier after the initial movement. But it didn't matter; he continued swimming without stopping.
He was working his entire body with this movement, whether strength, speed, or endurance. He continued to swim powerfully. He didn't use his energy, but relied on passive enhancement, which, incidentally, improved when he rose to Rank C.
He could feel the fatigue, but at the same time, his cells were rapidly replenishing. Hours of swimming, dragging the boat through the sea, had left him very worn out. At that moment, a small head emerged from the boat, dragging a can of energy drink, and tossed it toward him. He caught it in midair, opened it, and drank while still kicking his legs. Then, he tossed the can back to Will, who wagged his tail and caught it happily.
(A/N: Don't throw trash in the ocean, kids.)
Ringo felt better, and after a while, Jack showed up and did the same. He'd bought hundreds of these things and stocked up to keep his energy up.
He didn't stop swimming for over a week, his body working so hard he was about to pass out. Finally, he couldn't hold back any longer and returned to the boat, exhausted. He took a shower to wash off the salt and fell hard into bed, snoring soon after.
Jack and Will took turns patrolling the ocean and staying close to Ringo. Even now, they still took their training seriously, especially as Ringo continued to improve them little by little.
Almost a day later, ravenous, he ate a whole leg of pork. After lunch, he lay on a lounge chair while Jack and Will fought over the leg bone.
He kept a bottle of vodka beside him, sipping occasionally, but even though his stamina was weakened, he only felt slightly dizzy. He wasn't crazy enough to get drunk alone on the open sea. He lit a cigar and inhaled deeply, feeling happy after a hard workout. He thought if Hila were there with him, watching her wear a skimpy bikini...
He sighed heavily, the heat from his body radiating in his breath making the air slightly cloudy, before shaking his head regretfully. This was still far from him.
Feeling the energy coursing through him, he felt that after this week, he had reached his limit. From this point on, he had reached the bottleneck of this world, a bottleneck no one had yet managed to cross.
But he didn't stop growing; his cells continued to absorb energy, preparing to explode at the right moment.
Ringo looked at the GPS and saw that he was close to his goal, even though it had taken him a while to get there. Underwater volcanoes, that's his target, and it's also where he intends to accumulate enough energy to cross.
He rested a bit longer before starting the boat and heading to an area a little away from the volcanic area, but shallow enough to set the anchor.
After dropping the anchor and ensuring it was secure, he instructed the canine duo on how to feed and then stripped naked before jumping into the water. He was likely going to lose his clothes anyway, with what he planned to do.
He sank quickly through the water, breathing normally. His lungs were able to absorb oxygen without absorbing any of the salt in the water, so he didn't dehydrate. In fact, he drank so much of it that he could eliminate all unnecessary salt through his urine and through the pores of the skin without dehydration.
Swimming toward the glowing rivers of magma, turning the surrounding sea orange, he smiled, approaching.
Lava can reach between 700 and 1200 degrees Celsius; the temperature can be higher internally.
Normally, this would burn him to charcoal, but he had already been roasted by flames of up to 1,000 degrees Celsius, so as long as they didn't sink into hotter zones all at once, he would be fine.
That's why he simply jumped into the magma, which exploded around him due to the change in its stability with the water.
Ringo didn't care, wading deeper, feeling his body slightly warm. But this is where the problem lies, he couldn't breathe lava.
Or could he? Lava contains oxygen, but it's not as free as air, and lava is too dense to breathe like water.
So he did the next best thing, the cutaneous respiration he'd previously discarded. He began trying to extract oxygen from the lava through skin contact.
His body would take too long to achieve this on its own, so he began using his energy to help, not through rapid physical evolution, but using it to accelerate permanent evolution.
He could hold his breath for almost an hour, so he wasn't in a rush, at most, he just needed to get out of the lava and go to the sea water breathe a little.
And he did.
He had to go back and forth three times before he succeeded. Now that the oxygen problem had been solved, even though the extraction was slow and inefficient, his body didn't need that much oxygen. In fact, he felt like his body seemed to be working on other ways to get energy from the lava, but he didn't worry about it, just continuing to sink into the lava.
The heat grew stronger and stronger the deeper he went, he didn't know how deep he sank, only stopping when his skin began to bubble. He had to keep his eyes closed at that point.
The next time, Ringo stayed there for a few hours, before descending a little further to an acceptable level and repeating. Continuing to descend not only increased the temperature but also the pressure his body was under. At this point, the pressure was so great that any other human would have imploded long ago.
Ringo felt like a lump of coal trying to become a diamond.
He went down and down, and felt like he had probably been there for a long time.
He soon had to leave because he was very hungry. Getting out was much faster, but still tedious. If it weren't for his strong body, he would never have managed to swim in the dense lava. When he finally returned to the water, as lava spurted everywhere, he swam to the surface and looked for the boat. It seemed late afternoon now, so he still managed to use the sunlight to his advantage.
Luckily, the boat wasn't far away. He found Jack and Will excitedly running along the sides of the yacht, watching him, barking and lolling their tongues. He laughed as he climbed in, and the duo licked the salt off his body, making him roll his eyes.
Wurlf! Wurlf!~~ (x2)
The pair saw some dogs barking at their owners and tried to imitate them. Now they bark, but their barks sound more growly and low.
After a bath, he realized it had been three days. He also belatedly realized during the bath that he had lost hair all over his body, smoother than a baby's skin. He sighed and used some energy to speed up the growth, getting his hair back.
He soon went to get something to eat, ready to sleep for a while and shake off his fatigue.
Ringo ate three roasted chickens this time before he was full. He went to sleep soon after. Jack and Will were smart enough to get what they wanted to eat themselves, so they just opened the freezer and took out what they wanted. They preferred raw meat, and Ringo never stopped them.
Unlike domestic dogs, these guys are completely wild, their bodies are designed to handle raw meat, at the very least, the meat they eat now is free of parasites and diseases.
Ringo slept until the next afternoon and took the rest of the time to rest while helping the pair evolve a little further. They could now perfectly withstand the tropical environment of the south. This relieved him. For now, their evolution isn't very useful because they haven't started any kind of training, the most it does is modify their genes.
After taking two nights off, Ringo returned to the magma. This time, he returned to his previous position much faster, he could feel his energy becoming increasingly saturated.
