Lacy was on her hands and knees scrubbing the floor of the truck. Aurora was outside underneath an umbrella to keep cool from the sun. The truck was about open but not quite yet.
She threw the wash cloth into the bucket filled with warm water and soap. After picking it up and setting it to the side, she took out a pen from her cleaning apron and began to draft up a list of items she needed to get. She also needed to think of the time and operations that she would be working.
Working bright and early in the morning probably wasn't feasible since the twins still didn't know about the food truck. She would want to pick a time that was busy yet allowed her to escape to the food truck.
She checked her cellphone, Theresa would be coming over to check things out with the truck and to check in to see how she was doing.
Lacy walked to Aurora and picked her up. She looked at her child and tilted the child so she could see the food truck as well. "Well, what do you think, Aurora?"
