Chapter 27 - Food Truck Arc: Five

Lacy drove her new food truck into the lot of the food truck lot. It was in a good location with very little competition. It was by a lake with a good amount of foot traffic on weekends. Now Lacy wouldn't be working on weekdays, just weekends. If the job picked up then yes, she would hire a manager and an employee. There was still one problem: none of her Alphas had signed off. For her to be legit, the paperwork would have to be submitted in three months.

She got out the food and walked to Kareen's truck. The Alpha had followed closed behind her. She stood outside her truck with her arms cross and a small smile on her face.

"It looks good."

Lacy stood next to her. "Yep, but my Alphas need to sign." Lacy gave Samantha anal and Samantha did say she would sign as a result. When she got home that night, she'd present the paperwork. "Any phone calls from the hospital?"

Kareen shook her head.

"What if you got her pregnant?" Kareen snapped her head down to look at the Omega. She hadn't thought of that. She sighed and shook her head. There were no words. "The Omega was in heat," Lacy continued. "So...theres a chance."

"I'm not sure how many she mated with," Kareen said.

A car roared coming into the parking lot. It stopped and parked right beside Kareen's truck. Sasha got out the car and walked over to help Tyler out from the other side.

He waddled over to Lacy and stood by her.

She laughed at her friend. "You're about to pop!" She joked. Sasha took baby Jaden out the car and walked her over to the group. "Awwwwe!" Lacy took baby Jaden into her arms, cooing at her and making her laugh.

"Are you excited for the next baby?" Kareen asked Sasha.

"Oh yeah!"

"Here, I got some beer." Kareen jumped in the back of the truck and took a beer from the cooler. She threw it to Sasha who caught it with ease.

Sasha took a gulp after the liquid splashed a bit when she opened it. She wiped her mouth and found herself relaxing. "Have my sisters signed the paperwork?"

Lacy shook her head and leaned into the truck just as another car rolled into the parking lot. Clara and her Alpha got out. Lacy looked at Kareen to see her expression.

Clara's Alpha walked up and shook hands with both Sasha and Kareen. And it was just them for a while, just chilling out, drinking as the sun came to a set.

They wrapped things up with Kareen taking Lacy home. She walked into the house and found her two Alphas sitting on the couch.

"We ordered a pizza. Where were you?" Salmona asked. Both Alphas were just in their underwear.

Lacy took her shoes off and went to wash her hands in the hallway restroom. She walked back to the couch and plopped down in between the two.

"I got my food truck and now...Im just waiting for you to sign."

"What?" Salmona said.

Samantha leaned forward. "Uh..." She looked at her sister. "Well, um, um...no."

Lacy was unsure of what she heard. "Excuse me."

Samantha shook her head, not making eye contact with Lacy. "No," she said again.

Lacy stood up from the couch and pointed at Samantha. "You said if I did anal, I could get the food truck."

Salmona turned her head toward Samantha, glaring at her. Samantha shook her head at her sister, trying to cover her lie.

"It was a joke."

"NO, IT FUCKING WASN'T!" Lacy yelled. She bore her canines, angry, probably the most angry she has ever been. "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?"

"Watch your tone," Salmona ordered, rising from the couch.

Lacy found herself wanting to cry and she felt like she was going to cry. She turned around and instead of running to her room, like they thought she would go, she ran outside.

"LACY!"

They tried to go after her but since they were just in their boxers, they didn't want to run out with their chest out. It would be all over the news. Bad publicity for the firm that was just getting out the child support situation with Theresa.

Lacy ran all the way down the street and just wanted to get away. She looked at her phone. Buber was the only thing she thought about clicking on. She didn't want to be a burden to her friends, and get them involved not after their little celebration they just had.

Lacy took a sigh and put her phone away. She would just go to the little bar that was up the street in the strip mall. The pool hall.

With her hands in her pockets and her head hanging low, she walked inside. She looked over at the Beta who was behind the bar and some of the folks in the pool hall. They all saw her.

She stood there for a moment, expecting one of them to call the cops. No, the bar tender continued on with his drinks and the pool players continued on with their games.

Lacy found a stool and sat on it.

"Anything I can get ya?"

Lacy wiped her tears away, the bar tender was even nice enough to get her a tissue. "Just a Coka."

He went to the shelf and got down a little glass. The coka poured into the glass, sizzling and bubbling. She thanked him and took a sip.

She laid her head on the table. Life was so good yet so complicated as an Omega.

She heard the sound of the stool next to her being messed with, someone sitting down. She could smell it was an Alpha.

"Whiskey, please."

Lacy's eyes snapped open. She slowly picked her head up and looked to her left.

The bartender gave Theresa a small glass of whiskey that she gulped down.

"Never thought I'd see you here." She turned to the bartender and asked for another shot. "I got her tab," she said to him.

"...thank you..." Lacy said quietly.
