Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven

"She's been stuck in her room for two weeks!" Salmona complained.

The two of them sat at the kitchen table eating breakfast, already dressed in their work attire.

"Just-just let her be, will you?" Samantha said.

Salmona crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "Why are you being such a punk?"

"I'm not!"

"She's been in that room since you fucked her. She needs to grow up and continue on with her role."

Samantha slammed her fist on the table. She took her plate and threw it into the sink. Salmona got up and followed her sister into the living room. She took hold of her arm.

"Stop simping for this Omega."

Samantha glared at her sister and snatched her arm away. She proceeded to go to the foyer to get her suitcase for work. She looked at her sister, waiting for the other to join her.

Salmona got her jacket off the hook that matched with her skirted outfit.

"Listen, I have an idea."

If it meant Lacy forgiving her and proceeding on with their relationship then she was ready to listen.

"How about we go on vacation? Each of us. That way you can have one week with her and I can have one week with her."

The two women walked out the house, locking it behind them.

"Listen, I want to get to know her since I know how much you like her. And yeah, I spoke to her a little in the game but not as much as you. I'll also be going into rut soon and I don't want it to be like yours."

Samantha rolled her eyes and got into the car slamming the door. It was usually Samantha who ended up driving most times, but this time, Samantha took for hanging in the passenger's seat.

"I should have done more research, read more books, or watched more videos. Dude, I forgot the fucking food and water. How could I forget that shit?"

Lacy was sitting in the living room when the two Alphas came home that night. Salmona was carrying a coke and a pizza and together they were talking mindless chatter.

Lacy gave them a small smile. Samantha walked to her while Salmona went to the kitchen to put the food up.

"I'm so sorry," Samantha said. "It was my first mate during a rut. I thought I prepared everything."

"We're taking you on vacation," Salmona interrupted, not wanting to hear her sister squabble. It was pathetic. She wiped her hands off from the residue from the pizza box and the coke.

Samantha glared at her sister but the other frankly didn't care. Samantha needed to learn to be more prideful and stop bowing down to an Omega of all people. Its like she heard nothing Salmona said to her.

Lacy didn't know how to take this news.

"Go get pack. Our plane leaves out tomorrow morning. We're going to the islands."

The Omega sat on the couch completely thrown off but since Salmona was the asshole twin, she got up and headed to the stairs.

Salmona turned to look at her sister. "I'll take her to the islands and you can take her where ever. I'd wish you grow a pair."

"Shut up!"

"All we do is argue because of her. She was the worst thing to happen to us-"

Punch!

They have fought before but not over an Omega. Salmona wiped her mouth for any blood and walked away from Samantha. She went up stairs to confirm Lacy was packing.

She sat on the edge of Lacy's bed and wiped more of the blood away.

"What happened to your lip?"

Salmona was shocked to hear Lacy ask. For a moment, she was speechless. She sighed. "Me and Samantha got into it."

"Why are we really going on vacation? Are you trying to kill me?" Lacy asked. She placed her hands on her hips and glared at the Alpha.

"What-" For some reason Salmona's eyes went straight toward Lacy's stomach. "You're not pregnant?" After all, it had been a couple of weeks since the sexual encounter. Of course, the Omega wouldn't be showing but most Omegas check for any signs of life. Or so the Alpha thought.

Lacy avoided eye contact with the Alpha. "I took the after pill." She held her breath and closed her eyes with her back toward Salmona. Any moment now, Salmona was going to blow up and then it would cause Lacy to blow up. Then the house would blow up.

Lacy sighed, rubbing her temples.

"It was for the best." Salmona said softly.

Lacy exhaled and continued packing. This was probably the first time she was able to talk to Salmona since being picked up from school.

"So...do you want kids?" She asked zipping up the backpack.

Salmona shrugged her shoulders. "You're taking a backpacker's bag? We have plenty of suitcases."

"I thought I'd pack light. Even rolled my clothes military style."

Salmona smiled, something Lacy hadn't seen for a while.

"Hey," Salmona said to get Lacy's attention. "I'm pretty different than my sister."

"Yeah you're an asshole and your sister is...liberal like the Buber driver said."

"Wait, when did you take a Buber?"

Lacy plopped herself on the bed and laid there. Her shirt hiked up and Salmona could see her exposed stomach.

Salmona stood up and walked to the chair on the other side of the room. "You should have told us you were going some where."

Lacy rolled her eyes but didn't argue with that statement.

"It can be dangerous-"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Lacy said, waving Salmona's words away.

Salmona sighed and walked over to Lacy and pulled at her arms to make her sit up. They stared at one another.

"It really is dangerous out there."

"Only because Alphas don't want to take responsibility for nothing. Listen," Lacy was willing to make a compromise. She stood off the bed and pulled her shirt down, knowing Salmona was looking at her stomach. "Can we just drop it and go get some pizza, asshole?"

Lacy planted her index finger on Salmona's lips, making the Alpha blushed.

In the last two weeks since the incident that took place during rut, Lacy spoke to her best friend, Clara, and even her family. They all told her this was her new life now, and to do her best to try and get along with them. They were inexperienced and rough, but it seemed they actually cared for her well being.

Lacy walked to the door and turned to look at Salmona. "I know I'm not the most submissive Omega. This is just my personality. I don't want to make things difficult for us or anyone," she said. "I just really want us to get along."

She gave Salmona a soft smile and headed down stairs to get some pizza.
