He was completely focused on his opponent — forcing his Resonance Fruit to continually suppress the Devourer's weakening state.
The Planetary Devourer's energy was steadily declining. The Force that made up his body was thinning like smoke in the wind.
But then, Xu Fu frowned.Something was wrong.
The Devourer's entire body began to burn — faintly glowing as if mocking Xu Fu's power itself.
"What? The Planetary Devourer, one of the Five Creators, actually stooping to this trick? Shameless!"
Xu Fu's eyes narrowed.
What a crafty old monster. He'd lived for countless millennia — deceit came to him as easily as breathing.
And now, this old tortoise was… absorbing Xu Fu's own Resonant Fruit power.
Xu Fu was speechless for a moment.
"Ho-ho… So you finally noticed," the Planetary Devourer sneered, his body trembling violently.

Then, a dark wave of black Force burst from his body, growing stronger by the second.
Xu Fu's eyes hardened.This wasn't some gift of strength — it was the opposite.
After devouring Xu Fu's power, the Planetary Devourer was awakening his true might: the Force of the Dead Universe.
One's power fell as the other's rose — and the Devourer's momentum was climbing fast.
By Xu Fu's estimation, his opponent's strength had now returned to at least a Primary Universe-level state.
The Planetary Devourer laughed, his voice echoing across space."Mortal, I'll give you a chance."
"Become my squire, and I'll spare you — and your planet."
His arrogance flooded back. The moment his power surged, his confidence returned tenfold. He believed the balance had shifted once again — that the mighty Creator God was back in control.
He was even generous now.
In his eyes, Xu Fu's potential was remarkable. Far beyond that of his former herald, the Silver Surfer, who was merely a byproduct of his energy.
If he could make Xu Fu his servant, it would be a great gain.
But Xu Fu simply looked at him with a flat, unimpressed stare.
"Is your body that big because your brain couldn't keep up?" he said calmly. "You're huge, but your IQ's microscopic. Truly pitiful."
He raised his hand slowly. Two transparent lightsabers formed in his palms, radiating fierce light.
The Planetary Devourer's face twisted in fury.This brat actually dared ignore his offer!
"You refuse my terms?! Don't you care about protecting your planet?!"
Xu Fu's voice was calm, but firm."Of course I'll protect my planet."
"But I won't ever become someone's lackey."
"If you want to touch my world…" He lifted his hand. "Then come try."
The green light flared in his palm, growing brighter and denser — until it transformed into a giant axe, vast as a celestial body.
Even before it swung, its sheer presence distorted space.
Before the eyes of the Planetary Devourer, it was like watching a mere mortal hold a weapon meant for gods.
Gu Yi's eyes widened as she stared at the mirrored image.
"This… this divine radiance… it's far too much!"
That green glow — she recognized it.
It was the same Green Light Ring power Xu Fu had displayed before — the ability that manifested weapons through imagination and amplified them by pure willpower.
But this… this was on another level entirely.
A single small lightsaber was manageable. But conjuring a planet-sized weapon through will alone?
Even Gu Yi could tell — the mental strain would be unimaginable.
And yet Xu Fu stood firm, the colossal axe shimmering in his grip, ready to face a god head-on.
