Xu Fu didn't have to wait long.
Ten minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
Xu Fu opened the portal.
Wolverine, Logan, walked out wearing a suit that wasn't quite the right fit.
Xu Fu pursed his lips, saying nothing. It was better than before, at least.
He'd been practically naked before.
"Teacher Logan, why did you come here?"
"Weren't you supposed to be at the academy these past few days?"
Xu Fu asked with a puzzled expression.
After the New York Battle, as a member of the X-Men, Wolverine also had a lot of things to deal with.
Even though he wasn't highly educated, after more than a hundred years, he knew how to conduct himself.
What was he doing, coming to this godforsaken place?
Hearing Xu Fu's question, Wolverine recalled some things, and a flash of anger crossed his face.
Finally, he spoke.
"This is a grudge from a long time ago. I'm just here to settle it."
Wolverine didn't want to involve Xu Fu in his affairs, so he chose to conceal the details.
Xu Fu, with the Joker's intellect and abilities, could naturally see through Wolverine's heart.
He didn't choose to expose anything, just chuckled and said, "Then, go ahead."
"I'll be here. If you need help, feel free to ask."
After saying this, he gave Wolverine a nod and continued to sit in his spot, happily fishing.
Logan was also used to Xu Fu's style and wasn't one for formalities.
Turning his head, he looked at the silent dam, his eyes revealing a savage gleam, like that of a wild beast.
Even the steel claws on his hands unconsciously extended.
Without the slightest hesitation, Wolverine charged towards the dam.
Xu Fu saw this, but didn't pay it any mind.
In this world, there were many who could defeat Wolverine, but very few who could kill him.
He wasn't worried at all.
Instead of worrying about that, he'd rather worry about not catching any fish.
"Weren't they saying there were huge wild fish everywhere abroad?"
"How come I haven't caught any yet?"
"This is ridiculous."
Xu Fu frowned.
He could accept that he hadn't fished up any system treasures, since those were supposed to be rare.
But why couldn't he even catch a regular fish?
Was he destined to be empty-handed?
Xu Fu refused to believe it. He moved to a different spot and continued fishing.
He waited for dozens of minutes.
Unfortunately, he still had nothing to show for it.
No fish arrived, but something else did.
Boom! The lake surface suddenly exploded, as if something had fallen into the water.
Xu Fu felt that this thing that had fallen into the water looked very familiar; he seemed to have seen this scene before.
It's Wolverine, Logan, again?!
Splash! A sound of water rang out, and Wolverine walked directly out of the water.
Because of the Adamantium skeleton in his body, Wolverine would never be able to swim.
Once he entered the water, he could naturally only walk out of it.
Seeing his miserable appearance, Xu Fu couldn't help but laugh.
"Teacher, why did you get yourself into this state again?"
"The last time I saw you like this was... well, the last time."
Logan didn't look too pleased either.
Twice now, he'd been this disheveled, and to be seen by his student on top of it... it was embarrassing.
But he couldn't worry about that now.
"Watch out!"
Logan shouted. Xu Fu immediately felt a gust of wind rush toward him from behind.
Xu Fu wore a calm expression, not even taking the attack seriously.
With a flash, he vanished, reappearing several meters away in the blink of an eye.
The figure that had been attacking him charged directly at Wolverine.
Xu Fu finally got a clear look at the person.
It was an Asian woman, dressed in a tight-fitting leather suit, looking quite slender.
These were all unremarkable details. What was most striking, however, was this:
From the tips of her fingers, ten sharp, silver-white nails had extended, identical to Wolverine's.
"So it's you."
Xu Fu realized who it was.
This was the mutant, Lady Deathstrike, whose abilities were similar to Wolverine's, and who had also undergone inhumane human experimentation.
Her sharp claws, extending from her hands, were no weaker than Wolverine's.
For example, that previous strike, she had sliced directly through Wolverine's flesh.
If it weren't for Wolverine's amazing healing ability, that blow would have been fatal.
"Adamantium? Interesting."
"Teacher, don't move. Let me handle her."
Xu Fu's eyes sparkled.
He wanted to know, which was stronger, the so-called strongest metal, Adamantium, or his own defense!
Xu Fu didn't even use the Green Lantern Ring; he appeared in front of Lady Deathstrike as if he had teleported.
He threw a punch with all his might.
Lady Deathstrike was like she'd been hit by a train. The spot where Xu Fu's attack landed warped grotesquely, and she went flying.
Xu Fu didn't pursue.
This fight wasn't even a fight to him; it was just a game.
No wonder Superman doesn't bother with combat training.
With this kind of power, what's the point of fighting experience?
Xu Fu couldn't help but shake his head.
In the face of absolute strength, skill was useless.
The closer the power levels, the more effective technique becomes.
In the real world, fighting is divided into weight classes, and there's a reason for that. No matter how strong your technique, it's useless against a significant weight difference.

Xu Fu hadn't used his fighting skills in a while, and he'd underestimated his own strength.
Lady Deathstrike took that hit and her body deformed.
Even with her amazing regenerative abilities, it still took her a great deal of effort to recover.
Adamantium can protect bones, but it can't protect fragile internal organs.
That last blow probably shattered her internal organs.
Wolverine, standing to the side, was completely dumbfounded.
He knew Xu Fu was formidable, with a variety of mutant abilities constantly on display, making him incredibly powerful.
But he had no idea Xu Fu's strength was so astonishing and terrifying!
This was completely different from just having abilities!
Xu Fu was practically flawless! Logan couldn't help but shake his head.
He'd been worrying for nothing.
No one knew how shocked Logan was, but Xu Fu stood before Lady Deathstrike, a smile playing on his lips.
"Come, let's see how good Adamantium really is."
Lady Deathstrike didn't say anything.
She charged forward like a beast, soaring through the air.
Her twenty-centimeter-long Adamantium claws slashed towards Xu Fu.
Without a sound, Xu Fu's casual clothing was ripped open.
The Adamantium claws directly struck his chest.
Screech!
The ear-piercing sound of metal clashing rang out.
The claws, capable of slicing through anything, raked across Xu Fu's chest, leaving nothing but a spark.
Xu Fu yawned, his face showing no emotion.
Just like Superman, who was chopped by Steppenwolf's axe, he was utterly unfazed, even a little amused.
"Adamantium, is that all?"
