Ava pov
We have finally arrived!! But to think of it it's beautiful than I imagined. With different types of club, beautiful dorms and even more to explore. I still can't believe how Emily got in. 'hey, how long are you going to stand here? let's go to see the dorm'said kate sigh.... ' don't be in a hurry the classes are good to start from Monday' emma said bored 🥱
Here we are entering the biggest university. The campus gates looked huge — almost too huge — like they were daring me to step through and see if I was really ready for this new life. My heart was racing, but in the best way. I could feel the weight of my backpack, the buzz of excitement in the air, and my three best friends around me —Emma, kate, Emily — laughing about something that probably wasn't even that funny.
We'd been dreaming about this moment for months — our first day at university. The idea that we were finally here didn't feel real. The paths were lined with trees, students rushing around, and that smell of fresh notebooks and coffee. Everything felt alive. Emma was already talking about joining the student council. Kate wanted to find the best coffee spot on campus, and Emily was taking photos of everything. Emma squeezed my hand and whispered, "We made it, Ava."
And we really did. For a second, I stopped walking just to look around — at the buildings, the people, the possibilities. This was our fresh start, our chance to become whoever we wanted to be. I didn't know what the year would bring, but one thing was certain: we were in this together.By the time we finally found our dorm building, we looked like a group of dehydrated explorers who'd just crawled out of the desert. The elevator was broken, of course, so we had to drag our suitcases up three flights of stairs that felt like Mount Everest.
Emily was muttering something about "fitness being a scam," and kate nearly rolled backwards on the second floor.kate kept saying, "We're fine, we're fine," while clearly not .
Then came the tragic news.
"We're splitting the rooms— two and two," the RA said cheerfully, as if she hadn't just ripped our friendship group in half.
The silence that followed could've powered the entire dorm.
"Huh" I'm still struggling to breathe
"Wait, what?" kate blinked.
"You mean, like… we're not all together?" Emily asked, clutching her pillow dramatically.
The RA smiled. "Nope! Room 502 and 503 Welcome to university life!"
After five minutes of chaotic negotiation, we finally decided: Emma and I would room together and kate and Emily would share the other room.
Moving in was its own comedy show.
