Stepping outside something I've not experience for a long time hit me,
For a very long time I've not had a fresh air around me, I feel at peace, not surrounded by the wall of the house, everything there is toxic, I took a breath and I breathed in oxygen not the cold air from the AC, then my mind went back to the conversation I had with my mum, it's so hard to have a mom that doesn't even remember your birthday all she wants for you to get married to one of those provoking things she calls classic young lady.
Lost in my thoughts and irrigation , I had no idea when I passed the city park I and Karl was supposed to meet, then I felt my phone vibrate
'Who the hell is calling me'i asked angrily, then I picked up my phone from my pocket when I looked at the screen I saw karl's name
'Hey man' I said immediately the call went true
'Axel what's up you just passed here and you are looking like someone that put a lady in a family way and is looking for a way to not take responsibility' he said dryly then I laughed at his statement, wait,
'Did you just say I passed you' I asked, then stopped to look around
'Are you ok man, stay were you are am coming' he said slightly disturbed
Still in shock that I got here very early because from the mansion to this place is an hour work, then I checked the time on my phone and it's truly an hour passed
'Hey' I heard karl calling form behind , then I turned to look at him
'Hey man are you ok' he asked, Aside from the fact that this friend of mine is my best friend and I grew up with him, he is a very caring man and most times I really envy his future wife
'Hey, What are you thinking' he asked, hit my shoulder.
'Nothing'i said, but then it made him look at me more suspiciously
'What I said nothing' I said in defense when his glare became for dangerous, it felt like any moment from now a punch is going to land on my face

'That is called an upper cut, so tell me what's up with you' he said with a more serious face,
'maybe there is no escape route for me today' I thought
'Ok, I will, before you dislocate my handsome face, do you know any place where we could get something hot to drink so that we can talk over it' I asked this time being more serious
'Ok there I one close to the city library, follow me' he said and I did as I was told.
We walked through so many places, this was not my first time am sneaking out, but this was my first time since I graduated from college.
'You should come out more often, you are looking at your city like this is the first time you are coming out' karl said
