"Manipulating time will cause space-time confusion. The three Sanctums guard the world from magic attacks..."
"A thousand years ago, the mighty Agamotto..."
"Dormammu beyond time..."
The councilor murmured. With Wong's introduction, more information is exposed. Especially the so-called Dormammu. This has once again stimulated the fears of all the councilors.
Gladwin took a deep breath and pressed hard on the temples, "Beyond time, this kind of thing is not an existence that we can fight against."
Against the Chitauri, they can hit back with bullets and bombs. But what about Dormammu? What should we do? At this moment, everyone suddenly realized. Threats to the Earth Age, no matter the level or type, all have exceeded their current understanding.
Hyeon said with a wry smile: "With so many threats existing, it is difficult for the Earth Age not be destroyed. They all want to destroy the Earth."
Sith said: "The three Sanctums, have we found any similar ruins?"
The crowd shook their heads.
Kennedy said, "According to the simulated magic defense in the form of the Earth just seen, we can focus on doing a whole new investigation around those areas. Let's see if we can find some clues."
The others agreed.
Gladwin said, "I don't know if Dormammu still exists, or if it has gone to other universes. But that's not okay."
Hyeon continued: "From the current point of view, there are two directions that pose the greatest threat to Terra at that time and now. One is the purple monster, the other is Dormammu."
Some agreed: "The discovery tells us to speed up the improvement of various combat powers. Unfortunately, we don't know the specific method of the Ancient One's magic."
Sith said, "When the time comes, let's see if he will awaken these memories."
At this time, to the viewers about Dormammu, who devoured the universe, a historical rebuke has been launched.
"I don't know who is more powerful? Dormammu or the purple monster?"
"Dormammu must be more powerful."
"But when the picture of the purple monster appeared, it had already affected the real world, but this was not the case with Dormammu."
"Maybe it's just the introduction of Dormammu's existence, rather than the appearance of Dormammu itself."
"The turbulent flow of time creates a new branch of time, my god!"
"Listen to what they said, they all know that the Avengers exist, but because the direction of their protection is different?
"If it's what they say, then I feel like the planet should be safer."
"Is Strange's magic weapon the Eye of Agamotto?"
Strange looked at the two. Then he said, "The pages that Kaecilius stole."
Wong responded: "That is the ritual of summoning Dormammu and drawing power from the dark dimension."
Strange smiled awkwardly.
"Okay, okay..." After a pause, Strange looked at the two and smiled: "I... I give up. I came here to treat my hands. I don't want to be involved in some mysterious war."
Viewers were amazed. They didn't expect pages that were stolen before to be Dormammu's summon. Just when everyone was worried, the screen turned.
Kaecilius and his followers were in a dimly lit church. He pulled out the torn pages and put them in the center of the floor. Kaecilius turned his hands, and dark red magic patterns appeared in the air.
The magic pattern drawn by Kaecilius was the pattern on the page. People around him chanted tedious incantations at the same time. Magic patterns like butterfly wings swirl in the air, and sparks sputter. Everyone's eyes seemed to be eroded by dark forces.
Kaecilius gestured with both hands and pressed down suddenly. The same situation as when the Ancient One appeared before, all the surrounding buildings are rolling unsteadily. Kaecilius successfully conveyed Dormammu's energy. With a wave of his hand, the huge energy can easily change the surrounding environment.
"He has really learned it!"
"Does that mean that Dormammu is going to devour the earth?"
"Why do you all go to Earth?!"
"They succeeded in acquiring the power of darkness, which Kaecilius couldn't do before!"
"Who can beat him?"
"What about the Avengers? Call the Avengers?!"
"The Avengers have disbanded!"
"I reckon Tony is still in the room alone in the empty room."
"Darkness is never a good thing."
"I'm still quite envious of people in the age of the Earth; at least they can experience these fantastic things in person."
The screen jumps to the library again.
Strange really wanted to quit. He didn't want to be involved in these things. He is not great enough to be called to defend the earth. And against the existence of Dormammu, who looks like he can't win.
Suddenly, a bell rang in the sky, and the earth model above turned.
Wong panicked: "There's something wrong with the Sanctum!"
The gate of the Sanctum squatting temple slowly opened, and a man ran out of it. But a transparent, sharp blade penetrated through his body, and the dead body stumbled in.
Mordo said angrily: "It's Kaecilius!"
They saw him squatting behind the gate of the temple.
Kaecilius waved his hands, and a huge cloud of dark energy formed in his hands. Immediately, he shot towards the Sanctum. An explosion sounded, and fire roared while Strange was blown away by the explosion. Countless concrete passes through the portal and into the library.
Strange was sore from being hit. When he opened his eyes, he found that the two of them were no longer there, "Wong! Mordo!"
No one responded.
Strange stumbled to his feet and walked in with the light. It is a quaint house, which was different from the library he was in just now. The headache from the explosion continued. Strange held his head in his hands but went to the door. He opened the door and went out. The unfamiliar streets made his face bewildered, so he looked back at the house number.
"Anyone?!" There was no response from the entire temple.
He came to an indoor platform. Strange looked at the three panes of glass in front of him in surprise. The three floor-to-ceiling windows displayed three completely different environments: Forest. Sea. Snow. All three soundscapes were clearly transmitted to his ears.
He opened the window at the seaside. Suddenly, a salty sea breeze blew in. When he closed the window and twisted a button on the frame, time seemed to pass in an instant; the original sea scenery had turned into a desert. Strange didn't stop there. He deliberately walked into a hall filled with glass showcases.
"Anyone there?"
There were so many items inside: bronze ware, helmets, porcelain, and more. Almost all antiques.
Stopping before one particular showcase, Strange paused. Inside was a red cloak. Strangely, the cloak floated in midair. It even swam like a fish.
After a few more glances, Strange walked toward the stairs. Up ahead was the location of the temple's iconic glass window.
Suddenly, there seemed to be movement downstairs. Strange quickly moved behind a pillar and looked over quietly.
Downstairs, the door began to sway violently. It was as if someone was forcing it open. The temple's guardian appeared, holding a staff, staring nervously ahead.
With a loud crash, the door burst open, and Kaecilius walked in with two others.
Kaecilius said, "Daniel. I see they made you the master of this Sanctum."
Daniel replied lightly, "You know what that means?"
Kaecilius sneered. "That you will die protecting it."
Before his words even fell, the two attackers rushed Daniel from behind. But Daniel was a Templar Mage; his strength was not weak. With a swing of his staff, he easily knocked both of them down. However, once Kaecilius joined the fight, the situation changed instantly. Daniel was kicked to his knees. Kaecilius held a transparent blade, and he struck.
Upstairs, Strange couldn't stand it anymore. He jumped straight down the stairs.
"Stop!"
But the transparent blade had already pierced Daniel's body.
Kaecilius pulled the blade free and looked at Strange, "How long have you been at Kama-Taj, Mr.?"
Strange replied, "Doctor."
Kaecilius nodded. "Your name is Doctor?"
Strange replied, "It's Strange."
Kaecilius nodded. "Maybe. Who am I to judge?"
The blade pierced Daniel again.
Seeing this, Strange folded his hands and summoned multiple magic beams. The three attackers ran along the walls while Strange conjured a glowing magic whip. But his combat ability was still lacking, especially against three opponents. Their figures staggered and twisted as they attacked from different angles. He was struck multiple times. Strange used the magic rope to yank a flower pot and smash it at them, but it didn't help.
Kaecilius hurled the transparent blade at him like a throwing knife. Strange reacted quickly, dragging the blade aside with his magic rope. Realizing the situation was dire, he quickly dismissed the spell and ran deeper inside.
Kaecilius watched him flee into the corridor and raised both hands. Immediately, he twisted space itself. A creaking, cracking sound echoed through the passage, and the floor rattled as it began to tilt backward.
Strange couldn't even keep his footing, so he was forced to stumble toward Kaecilius. No longer running, Strange raised both hands again. Two magic discs appeared, forming dual weapons, but the magic circle on his right fist collapsed instantly. He swung anyway nut nothing reappeared. Awkward.
The enemy didn't hesitate. Kaecilius flipped onto the ceiling while the other two ran parallel to the ground, stepping on walls as they rushed at Strange. Transparent blades slashed.
Strange raised a magic shield to block, and the impact sounds echoed violently. Strange stumbled again, and the final strike sent him flying.
"He's done! The other side is too strong!"
"Strange only just started learning, so his combat ability isn't enough!"
"Kaecilius is ruthless. His fighting style feels precise."
"The weapons are transparent, you can't even see where the slash is coming from!"
"Sure, his punching without a magic circle was funny, but this is deadly!"
"With dark power boosting them, their strength skyrocketed!"
"Three against one rookie? That's too much!"
"Run! Run! Run!"
Countless viewers were urging him on.
Strange used a magic rope to knock the female mage away as he scrambled up and ran again. But Kaecilius had no intention of letting him escape. He rotated both hands, and the entire corridor twisted, flipping upside down and sideways.
Strange smashed through the glass. He couldn't stabilize himself when the corridor even sloped upward. In panic, he grabbed onto a handle; only then did he stop sliding. The whole space seemed violently distorted.
Hanging on with both hands, Strange looked down and spotted a mage standing before a window leading to another environment. An idea struck him.
He let go, and his body plummeted downward. Using the momentum, Strange kicked the mage straight through the glass, and the female mage was hurled out of the temple and tumbled into the desert world beyond.
Strange grabbed the window frame and pulled himself up. He reached for the switch button, but another mage rushed in. The two struggled for control.
Thankfully, the corridor returned to level. After dodging multiple strikes, Strange finally managed to twist the button. In an instant, the desert vanished, replaced by another environment. The female mage was left stranded.
The two exchanged heavy punches. Strange seized the opponent's arm and, with a burst of force, hurled him into the forest environment. At the same time, he rotated the button again.
Kaecilius charged in, dual transparent blades in hand, but Strange dared not clash head-on. After repeated evasions, he continued fleeing, but he still couldn't shake him off.
Back on the showcase floor, Strange flung out his magic rope, wrapping around Kaecilius' blade. But Kaecilius grabbed the railing, spun, and kicked, causing Strange to smash through multiple display cases. He had no chance to counterattack.
The viewers watching were filled with anxiety. The gap in strength was too great. Strange couldn't even escape now.
Kaecilius punched him hard in the back. Strange spat out blood, and his body was blasted backward into another showcase. Kaecilius raised a transparent blade, preparing to deliver the final blow. And then, a flash of red entered his vision.
Across countless screens, viewers collectively gasped and stood in shock.
