Chapter 34 - Chapter : 34 : Earth Age

[ Thor tried to force his way through the S.H.I.E.L.D. blockade, determined to reclaim his hammer. Yet when he finally reached for it, the weapon rejected him. Powerless to lift it, Thor was overwhelmed and captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. ]

[ After Eric and Jane argued fiercely, Eric dismissed the tales of Thor and the hammer as nothing more than myths. Nevertheless, through his long-standing friendship with Jane, Eric persuaded the authorities to release Thor. ]

[ The scene shifts. ]

[ Beside the glow of a bonfire on the balcony, Thor speaks quietly with Jane. From within his tunic, Thor produces a weathered book and hands it to her. ]

[ Jane's eyes widen, her face filled with disbelief. "Oh my God…" ]

[ Thor says solemnly: "It is little compared to what I promised you, but it is all I could salvage." ]

[ Jane brightens with relief. "This is already so valuable, I don't need to start from nothing." ]

[ Noticing her troubled expression, Thor asks softly, "What weighs on your mind?" ]

[ Jane whispers: "S.H.I.E.L.D., whoever they really are, they'll stop at nothing to bury this research. They'll make sure the truth never comes to light." ]

[ Thor shakes his head. "No, Jane. You must not surrender. You must finish this work." ]

[ Jane stares at him. "Why? Why me?" ]

[ Thor answers firmly: "Because you are right." ]

[ He takes up paper and pen, his hand sketching swift, precise lines. On the page, he draws a series of planets, linking them with branching paths. "Your ancestors called it magic," Thor explains, "and you call it science. Where I come from, the two are the same." ]

[ Jane leans closer, startled. "What is this supposed to be?" ]

[Thor replies: "My father taught me long ago, your world is one of the Nine Realms. Each is bound together by the branches of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. It is always before your eyes, though you fail to recognize it." ]

[Turning the page, Thor continues: "This image you name the Hubble Telescope. Through it, you glimpse but fragments of what truly exists. These are the Nine Realms. Here is Midgard, alongside Alfheim, Vanaheim, Jotunheim, and Asgard, the realm from which I hail." ]

On the paper, a great tree-like network of lines links the realms. The sketch radiates a strange brilliance, striking the audience like a blade to the heart. Screenshots flood the net. Every frame is captured, dissected, and immortalized. Shock! Frenzy! Uproar!

The revelation shakes all who see it. Thor's words are too much, too immense, shattering long-held certainties. The internet explodes.

"World Tree?!"

"We're living on it?!"

"Are you kidding me? Nine Realms? What about the solar system we learned as children?"

"Where's Venus, Jupiter, Saturn?"

"Terra… listen! Terra was once called Earth!"

"Wait, are realms worlds of life, not just planets of rock and gas?"

"Then Earth itself was only one branch of something far greater?"

The chat drowns in voices. Social feeds erupt, Terra, Earth, Nine Realms, World Tree, every corner of discussion filled with speculation.

Across Terra, chaos boils. Physicists and astronomers reel in shock. Decades, centuries, of research now teeter on the edge of collapse.

"But telescopes never revealed this!"

"Did we misunderstand the very structure of the cosmos in Earth's age?"

"If Thor speaks truth, what is this so-called Divine Domain?"

Scientists mutter: Rainbow Bridge. Einstein-Rosen bridges. Wormholes.

"Secrets still hidden in the cosmos!"

"Other forms of life, perhaps countless, undiscovered by us!"

"Our vision was always too narrow!"

The expert group is stunned.

The historian Johan is speechless, unable to form words to describe the discovery. Among the panel, voices clash: "Thor is not of Earth, his kind can traverse realms! If Asgard exists, they must have mastered passage between worlds! But does Yggdrasil truly exist? No trace of it has ever been recorded! Yet look, those connections resemble tunnels, bridges… wormholes formed like rainbows falling from the sky!"

Others mutter nervously:

"The power system of Earth's era, even in fragments, shows how small humanity might be."

"If Iron Man's suit is considered top-tier, then Thor's kind operate on an entirely higher scale."

"And still, S.H.I.E.L.D. seeks Thor, without knowing his full might."

Panic creeps in.

"This civilization from beyond surpasses ours. What if they attack us? Were humans of the Earth Age living under constant threat?" Tonio stares at the broadcast, exhilarated. To him, this is more than myth; it is the discovery of an entirely new species.

"Is Thor's biology humanlike? Does his blood run red? Do others of his realm resemble him, or are there races we cannot yet imagine?" His mind swirls with questions.

Meanwhile, the chief grows restless. His theories seem more and more validated. The power system of the realms is undeniable. Thor has aligned with S.H.I.E.L.D. … yet the giant whale belongs to his world. Then, by that logic, the giant whale itself must be tied to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Speculation spirals.

"Was it the war of Asgard, or clashes among the realms, that scarred Earth's past?"

"Is Earth truly Terra reborn?"

On Terra, a crater eerily reminiscent of Earth's ancient wounds has been discovered.

Elder Hyeon, standing at its edge, collapses to the ground, drenched in sweat. His phone slips from his trembling hands.

"Earth is Terra… the proof is before us. The pattern endures. If Thor's people choose, they could descend to Terra at any moment!"

Volcanoes, crustal shifts, droughts, every crisis blamed on natural decline now feels trivial compared to this revelation. A new terror rises, an unseen crisis that dwarfs all others.

"Iron Man, out of control, seized by artificial intelligence, that is nothing compared to what may come!"

Neither Hyeon, nor the director, nor even the Supreme Council elders can grasp the full picture. And when the live feed jolts again, and the entire world of Terra falls silent.
