As the days passed, both groups settled into life in the Vampire Kingdom, a sprawling castle complex with towering spires and grand halls filled with ancient tapestries and mysterious artifacts. Han and Taejoon spent most of their days training with the kingdom's elite warriors, learning how to harness their hybrid powers.
Alexander was always lurking in the shadows, keeping a watchful eye on his sons. He was determined to ensure their safety and security, especially given the complexities of their relationship. Whenever Han and Taejoon ventured out, Alexander would sneak along, invisible and silent, to keep tabs on them.
The Alpha Boys and Idols noticed Alexander's overprotectiveness, especially when it came to Han and Taejoon. "Dude, what's up with Alexander?" Caleb asked, nodding towards the king, who was hovering in the background. "He's always watching us, but it's like he's specifically keeping an eye on Han and Taejoon."
Ace raised an eyebrow. "Maybe he's just worried about their safety?"
But Jace shook his head. "No, it's more than that. I've seen him sneaking out with them whenever they go somewhere. He's like a bodyguard or something."
The truth was, Alexander was determined to prevent any romantic feelings from developing between Han and Taejoon. .
Later that day Taejoon and Han decided to sneak out of the castle to have some private time, away from the prying eyes of the others. They walked through the moonlit gardens, the sound of fountains and chirping crickets filling the air.
Taejoon took the opportunity to turn to Han, his eyes filled with sincerity. "Han, I want to apologize again for what I did," he said, his voice low and heartfelt. "I was so caught up in my own feelings, I didn't think about how you might feel. I'm sorry for putting you in that situation."
Han's expression softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Taejoon's arm. "You don't have to apologize, Taejoon. We're in this together, always."
Taejoon's eyes locked onto Han's, and for a moment, they just looked at each other. Unbeknownst to them, Alexander was watching from the shadows, his eyes narrowed in concern.
Alexander's grip on a nearby stone bench tightened, his mind racing with the potential consequences of their closeness.
Han's face broke into a mischievous grin as he teased, "You're always so serious, Taejoon. Can't you just lighten up for once?"
Taejoon's eyes narrowed, a spark of amusement igniting within them. "Oh, I'll show you who's serious," he said, a playful smile spreading across his face.
Before Han could react, Taejoon lunged forward, chasing after him as he burst into a fit of laughter. The two of them tore through the moonlit gardens, their footsteps echoing off the stone pathways.
Alexander, still watching from the shadows, couldn't help but smile at the sight of his sons carefree and joyful. But his smile quickly turned to a look of concern as he realized he needed to keep a closer eye on them, to prevent any romance between them
As Han and Taejoon continued their playful chase, Alexander followed discreetly behind, his eyes never leaving them.
Taejoon caught up to Han and wrapped his arms around him from behind, holding him in a gentle but firm grasp. Han's laughter filled the air as he struggled to break free, but Taejoon's hold only tightened.
"Gotcha," Taejoon said, his voice low and playful, his breath whispering against Han's ear.
Han's laughter faltered, and he felt a shiver run down his spine as Taejoon's warm breath caressed his skin. For a moment, they stood there, frozen in time, the tension between them palpable.
Alexander, still watching from the shadows, felt his heart skip a beat as he witnessed the intimate moment. He knew he had to intervene, to remind himself that he was there to protect his sons from themselves. But for a split second, he hesitated, unsure of how to react.
Han turned to face Taejoon, their bodies inches apart. Taejoon's arms were still wrapped around Han's waist, holding him close. Han's eyes locked onto Taejoon's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them crackling like electricity.
Taejoon's face was inches from Han's, their lips almost touching. Han's heart was racing,
Taejoon's fingers gently brushed against Han's cheek, sending shivers down his spine. Han's eyes widened in surprise, and he asked, "What are you doing?"
Taejoon didn't respond, his gaze locked onto Han's lips. He leaned in closer, the space between them dwindling. Han's heart pounded even more in his chest as he felt Taejoon's warm breath on his skin.
Just as their lips were about to touch
Alexander sprang into action, clearing his throat to signal his presence. The sound broke the spell, and Han and Taejoon jumped apart
Taejoon look at Alexander in annoyance
"Ah, I think it's time we headed back," Alexander said, his voice neutral but his eyes watchful. "The night is growing late, and there are still matters that require our attention."
We'll meet you there.. taejoon said
He's just as stubborn as I was when I was hitting on their mom
... Alexander said in his mind before he said "now is best"
Taejoon didn't move, han notice taejoon face and chuckles pulling him along with Alexander
