Chapter 77 - can't let you go

The next day, Alexander summoned another healer, one who was rumored to possess knowledge of ancient lore and magic. The healer arrived, her eyes scanning the room before focusing on Alexander.

"I've been told you require my expertise, Your Majesty," she said, her voice low and mysterious.

Alexander nodded, his eyes fixed on Han's still form. "I need to know what's happening to him. Can you tell me?"

The healer nodded, her eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy as she examined Han and Taejoon. After a moment, she spoke, her voice filled with awe.

"Their powers are strong, stronger than I've ever seen. Han and Taejoon both possess a unique genetic makeup. Their blood contains the essence of both vampires and werewolves."

Kai eyes widened in shock. "What does that mean?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The healer's eyes locked onto his. "It means they both have the ability to shift into both vampires and werewolves. They're hybrids, and in all of history, they're the only ones who possess this ability in the same generation"

Alexander's eyes narrowed. "What does this mean for them?"

The healer's expression turned grave. "According to legend, anyone with such capabilities would be the supreme leader of both vampires and werewolves. They would possess unparalleled power and authority."

Alexander mind reeled as the healer's words hung in the air. But then she dropped another bombshell.

"However, there's a catch. There should only be one supreme leader,It's said that only one person can rule, and the other...the other must be sacrificed."

The room fell silent, the weight of the healer's words crushing. Alexander's face twisted in anguish. "You're saying Han's chance of survival is small because of this?"

The healer nodded, her eyes filled with sorrow. "Yes, Your Majesty. The odds are against him. The power is too great, and it's tearing him apart from the inside out."

Alexander sighs I guess mako knew about this that's why he did this to han

The healer's words hung in the air, filled with a sense of urgency and gravity. "There's one way to save Han's life," she said, her eyes locked onto Taejoon's.

How?.. Lorenzo ask

The healer continue speaking

"Han powers are still sealed, but if we unseal yours, Taejoon, and you give up one of your abilities...either your vampire or werewolf shift...it could cancel the curse on Han."

Taejoon's eyes widened in shock, his mind racing with the implications. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The healer's expression was somber. "By giving up one of your abilities, you'll be sacrificing a part of yourself. But in doing so, you'll only remain the hybrid of the vampires, and han will remain the supreme leader of both vampires and werewolves."

Alexander's face twisted in anguish. "You're saying Taejoon would have to give up being a hybrid as both transformation to save Han's life?"

The healer nodded. "Yes, Your Majesty. It's the only way. Han will be the supreme leader, with the power to rule over both vampires and werewolves. But Taejoon will lose one of his abilities forever."

Taejoon's eyes locked onto Han's still form, and he knew what he had to do. He would give up everything to save his brother's life. "I'll do it," he said, his voice firm. "I'll give up one of my abilities to save Han."

Are you sure about that..the healer asked

Yes, han has sacrifice himself enough for me, now it my turn to do something for him.. taejoon respond

The room fell silent, the weight of Taejoon's decision hanging heavy in the air. Alexander's face was etched with pain, but he nodded in understanding. "We'll do it," he said, his voice low and determined. "Save my son's life."he said to the healer
