"It's not true. They have lied to you, mother."
The young prince of Kyuhyaya district kneeled down on the grand, long red carpet in front of his mother, Queen Zhi. He bowed his head in respect. "Mother, believe your son, even for once. I am sure that the Yungsye district inspection was not done properly."
"And what makes you come to that conclusion?" Queen Zhi asks, gazing straight at her son from her silver throne through her red crimson eyes. "I have seen the reports. The inspection was done properly. Although I don't know who is paying you to say these things in front of the auspicious-"
"Mother," The young prince lifts his head, cutting off the Queen in between as she tightens her fists, almost losing her temper. "Please. I have evidence to support my argument. The Kyuhyaya district is falling apart. And the reason, I know, you know, everyone knows. Yungsye."
The Queen stood up with a thud, "I did not allow you to spit that nonsense when you are around the Majesty of the Throne." Her sharp voice cuts through the air, "You are the Youngest Prince of this district, Hao Zhi. Have some respect."
"Respect?" The young prince, Hao Zhi, scoffed. He stands up, slowly walking towards her mother. "Is ignoring the downfall of your district and avoiding the suffering of reality what you call respecting your throne? People are suffering, people are dying, there is no food to eat, the Kyuhyaya district is in the midst of a substantial crisis!"
Hao Zhi's voice echoed through the castle's hall, and her mother's face scowled in arrogance. "Just stop spitting that goddamn waste of words!" She shouted. "I just do not understand what your problem is? Always complaining!"
"Because complaining is all I can do here!" Hao Zhi retorted. "I am the youngest Prince, and I have to maintain respect for the elders here. But what about the elders suffering in the district while the Royal Family of Kyuhyaya is enjoying their red wine in the castle hall? I have to complain, and if nothing is done, I will bring the truth of Kyuhyaya in front of the whole world. Mother, either inspect Yungsye, the culprit behind the crisis, or I will reach the Emperor."
Queen Zhi choked as Hao Zhi mentioned the Emperor. The one that not only she, but everyone is scared of. He holds the entire power of Anlordia and all twenty-five districts residing inside it.
"Fine, I permit a re-inspection."
