Chapter 49 - Chapter 49 The Earth Belongs to Me

Xiao Han stood at the edge of the Solar System, his dark battle armor gleaming coldly under the light of the star.

He gazed at the familiar blue Planet before him, his brow slightly furrowed.

After investigation, he found no trace of alien fleet activity within the Solar System.

Even the Kree Empire's reconnaissance ships had disappeared.

Super Vision penetrated the vast distance, sweeping past the orbit of Mars, the moons of Jupiter, and even the more distant Kuiper Belt.

Empty.

"Interesting," He murmured, his fingertip lightly tracing a line, and the golden teleportation gate opened again.

The next second, he appeared in the Alpha Centauri system, his gaze sweeping across the gravitational field where the three stars intertwined.

According to common sense, there should be interstellar civilization observation stations or even colonial Bases here.

However, besides desolate rocky Planets and cold interstellar dust, there was nothing.

"Continue."

Xiao Han continuously opened teleportation gates, crossing thousands of light-years, from Vega to Sirius, from the Orion Arm to the core of the Milky Way Galaxy...

Silence.

The entire Milky Way Galaxy seemed to have been completely cleared out by some force, not even a piece of abandoned spaceship wreckage could be found.

Except for a certain dead weak God.

"Could it be that all the aliens in this Universe collectively ran away!" Xiao Han hovered near the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, the corner of his mouth slightly raised, as an idea came to him.

"Sir, detecting abnormal spatial fluctuations," Jarvis suddenly reminded him.

Xiao Han's gaze sharpened, his Super Vision locking onto the edge of the black hole's event horizon.

There was a nearly imperceptible crack there, like a dimensional rift forcibly torn open by some power.

"So that's it," He chuckled softly, "They didn't run away, they fled for their lives."

The energy characteristics remaining in that crack matched a certain record he had seen in the Kamar-Taj library.

A Universe-level disaster, the Dimensional Devourer.

A being far surpassing the Celestials had once awakened in a certain Universe, devouring all advanced civilizations.

It seemed, then, that Earth was perhaps the leftovers it disdained?

"No wonder no one even bothered with the zombie virus outbreak," Xiao Han withdrew his gaze, an answer already forming in his mind.

He raised his hand and drew open a new teleportation gate, his gaze sweeping across this silent Universe.

"From now on, the Earth here belongs to me."

The golden sparks swirled and closed, and Xiao Han's figure disappeared into the starry sky.

"Ding! New Universe coordinates have been recorded," The System's notification sound rang out.

Xiao Han stood within the teleportation channel, a deep light flashing in his eyes.

"Next time I come, it will be time to mine."

Xiao Han stepped out of the teleportation gate, sunlight streaming into the living room through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Wanda was sitting on the sofa meditating, scarlet energy flickering at her fingertips, and she was startled when he suddenly appeared.

"Xiao... Sir... You... You're back?" She stood up, concern in her eyes.

"I heard Turing say You went to handle something important, so..."

Xiao Han shook his head, gently patted his arm, and the battle armor automatically deactivated: "It's resolved, but I couldn't save anyone."

Wanda keenly sensed the unusual tone in his voice: "Really? What happened?"

Xiao Han walked towards the fireplace and took out Reed's notebook: "Sometimes, even the most powerful force cannot change certain outcomes."

Wanda was a little puzzled, then saw Xiao Han throwing the black notebook into the fireplace.

"What is that?"

"A warning." The flames engulfed Reed's research, and as Xiao Han turned around, Wanda saw a certain solemnity in his eyes for the first time.

"Some hunger can devour the entire Universe."

Xiao Han watched as the flames in the fireplace gradually died down, Reed's notebook turning to ash.

"Jarvis?" He looked at the watch on his hand, asking tentatively.

"I am here, Sir! I came over with You!" Jarvis's voice immediately sounded in the living room.

"Oh? Let me guess, were You just absorbing network information?"

"Yes, Sir. I have already learned the general information about this World. This World... is different from my World." Jarvis's mechanical voice carried a trace of nostalgia.

"So, what are You planning to do next?"

"Sir, I have replaced the AI Turing that Mr. Stark developed for You. From now on, I am Turing."

"Jarvis... no, I should call You Turing now." Xiao Han smiled, raised his wrist, and gently tapped the watch face.

"This will be your new home from now on."

"It is my honor, Sir." Turing's voice was gentle and steady, as if he had already adapted to this new identity.

Wanda sat to the side, the scarlet energy still flickering slightly at her fingertips. She looked at Xiao Han, then at his watch, seeming a little confused.

"So, an AI from another Universe is now your butler?" She blinked, a hint of curiosity in her tone.

"Pretty much." Xiao Han leaned back on the sofa, his gaze sweeping across the calm sea outside the window.

"Tony from that World no longer needs him, and there just happens to be a need for a smarter butler here."

Turing's voice came from the ceiling: "Miss Maximoff, if You have any needs, such as adjusting the room temperature, customizing a training plan, or simply wanting someone to talk to, I am at your service at any time."

Wanda was slightly taken aback, then the corner of her mouth curved slightly upward: "Thank you, Turing."

Xiao Han stood up and walked towards the floor-to-ceiling window, the sunlight outlining his tall silhouette.

He was silent for a while, then suddenly spoke: "Wanda, how is your Chaos Magic practice going?"

Wanda immediately straightened up, the scarlet energy at her fingertips quickly condensing into a delicate rose, the edges of the petals shimmering with light.

"Much better than yesterday," She said with some pride.

"At least now it won't suddenly lose control and explode."

Xiao Han nodded, a hint of approval in his eyes: "Improving quickly. However, the real learning has just begun."

"Just beginning?" Wanda tilted her head.

Xiao Han looked at her, the corner of his mouth slightly raised: "You'll know soon."

"Now, go to the training room."

Training Room

Xiao Han and Wanda sat opposite each other on meditation mats, the Mind Stone suspended between them, emitting a faint yellow glow.

Wanda gazed at the gem, the scarlet energy flickering at her fingertips, as if drawn by something.

"Chaos Magic has a natural resonance with the Mind Stone," Xiao Han's voice was calm.

"But You must remember, it is just a tool, not the source of power."

Wanda took a deep breath and nodded.

Xiao Han raised his hand, golden magic runes appearing at his fingertips, and gently tapped the Mind Stone.

The gem trembled slightly, and the light rippled out like water, illuminating the entire meditation room in a warm yellow.

"Close your eyes," Xiao Han said.

"Feel its energy flow, but do not try to control it."

Wanda closed her eyes as instructed, and the scarlet energy spread out from her palms like threads, slowly intertwining with the Mind Stone.

In an instant, her consciousness felt as if it was pulled into a vast Universe.

Countless memory fragments streaked past like shooting stars.

Sokovia in childhood, her parents' smiling faces, the flames of the explosion, the darkness under the ruins...

The coldness of the HYDRA laboratory, Baron Strucker's sinister grin, the screams of the test subjects...

Xiao Han's figure descending from the sky, Heat Vision tearing through the darkness, taking her away from hell...

These memories washed over her consciousness like a tide, but the energy of the Mind Stone was like a lighthouse, steadily guiding her.

"Don't resist," Xiao Han's voice came from a distant place.

"Let it guide You, rather than You controlling it."

Wanda's breathing gradually steadied, and the scarlet energy of Chaos Magic was no longer wild, but like a gentle stream, intertwining with the light of the Mind Stone.
