Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Xavier Academy

Deep within the cave.

A blue crystal hovered in the air, like a frozen galaxy, its light flickering with a rhythmic, breath-like pulse.

Xiao Han stood before it, his Super Vision piercing the surface, seeing the flowing energy network within.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Andrew suddenly spoke, his voice soft, "Like it's alive."

Xiao Han didn't deny it: "It is indeed beautiful."

"After we touched it, we could make things fly." Steve scratched his head.

"At first it was just small things, then..."

"Then it started affecting You." Xiao Han finished his sentence, his gaze returning to Andrew, "Especially You."

Andrew's shoulder trembled: "How did You know?"

"Because Your energy signature is the strongest."

Xiao Han stepped closer, his voice very soft, "What did it plant in Your heart? Anger? Or... loneliness?"

Andrew's breathing quickened, his fingers unconsciously digging into his palms: "It made me... powerful."

"Power isn't a bad thing," Xiao Han said, "but power is like Fire; it can warm You, but it can also burn everything down."

Matt couldn't help but interject: "What exactly is this stone?"

Xiao Han was silent for a moment: "I'm not sure. But it doesn't belong on Earth."

Steve's eyes widened: "Alien technology?"

"Or worse."

Xiao Han reached out, lightly touching the crystal's surface. Energy ripples spread out, and his fingertips glowed faintly.

Andrew suddenly stepped forward: "Can You... take it away?"

Xiao Han looked at him: "You want me to take it?"

Andrew lowered his head, his voice barely audible: "I can't control myself... Sometimes, I just want everyone to shut up."

The cave was silent for a few seconds.

Xiao Han asked inwardly: "System, can You absorb this thing?"

[Yes, Host! Get closer to it.]

Xiao Han withdrew his hand, looking at them: "I can take it away. But Your abilities won't disappear."

"What about Andrew?" Matt asked nervously.

"That depends on him," Xiao Han looked at Andrew, "Ability is a tool, not a Master."

Andrew bit his lip, not speaking.

Xiao Han didn't press him, just stood quietly.

Finally, Andrew took a deep breath: "Please take it away!"

Xiao Han nodded, reaching out and pressing his hand onto the crystal.

The crystal suddenly burst forth with dazzling light!

[Ding! Detecting alien energy radiation]

[Analyzing... Resonating with Host's Biofield]

[Telekinesis ability integrating...]

Xiao Han felt his internal energy structure reorganizing, a new power pulsing at his nerve endings.

He tried to lift a stone with his mind, and the stone immediately floated up as if weightless.

"More precise control than the Biofield..." Xiao Han murmured to himself.

With a shift of his will, the blue light surged, and the entire crystal began to shrink, finally transforming into a stream of light that vanished into his palm.

[Ding! Energy absorption complete]

[Telekinesis module and Biofield have merged]

[Biofield significantly enhanced!]

The mine shaft darkened, leaving only the beams of the flashlights.

"It's over?" Steve asked blankly.

"No," Xiao Han shook his head, "This is just the beginning."

He walked towards the entrance, and the three unconsciously followed. The night wind blew, and starlight sprinkled down on the four of them.

"If You want to learn how to control Your abilities," Xiao Han turned back, a slight smile on his lips.

"I can help You."

Andrew finally raised his head: "You'll teach us?"

"I know a place," Xiao Han's voice held a hint of amusement.

"After all, every metahuman needs a guide."

A faint golden light flickered in Xiao Han's eyes, his Super Vision penetrating layers of obstacles, quickly locking onto a hidden manor on the outskirts of New York.

It emitted a unique energy fluctuation, distinctly different from ordinary humans.

"Found it," he said softly, his gaze sweeping over the three young people, "Are You ready?"

Matt adjusted his glasses, his voice slightly trembling: "Where are we going?"

"A place that can help You."

Xiao Han smiled slightly, his Biofield silently unfolding, enveloping the three of them, "Hold on tight."

The next second, the four of them ascended into the air, the lights of New York rapidly shrinking beneath their feet.

Andrew gripped Steve's arm tightly, his eyes shining with astonishing brightness.

Matt let out a gasp, then was too stunned by the sight before him to speak.

The wind howled in their ears, but the Biofield blocked most of the airflow, allowing them to breathe steadily.

Xiao Han controlled the speed, ensuring the three of them wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

"Is that, the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters?" Matt suddenly recognized the destination, his voice rising with excitement.

"Oh my god, that's the X-Men headquarters!"

Steve's eyes widened: "Wait, are You talking about those Mutants?"

Xiao Han didn't answer, because he had already sensed a powerful psychic energy scanning them.

It was Charles Xavier, the consciousness tendrils of Professor X.

When the four of them landed on the lawn in front of the academy, a group of figures were already waiting there.

Leading them was a bald man in a wheelchair, the light of wisdom twinkling in his gentle blue eyes.

Behind him stood several X-Men; Cyclops held his ruby quartz glasses vigilantly; Storm's White hair fluttered in the night wind; Wolverine smoked a cigar, faintly visible behind them.

"Welcome, what should I call You, Mr. Superman?"

Professor X's voice was gentle, "And these three young people. I sense that You have... unusual energy within You."

Xiao Han nodded slightly: "Charles, I've long admired Your name. My name is Xiao Han, You can call me Xiao. These three young people unexpectedly gained superpowers but lack guidance."

He briefly explained about the blue crystal, omitting the part where he absorbed the energy.

Professor X's gaze lingered on Andrew for a moment, his brow furrowing almost imperceptibly.

"I feel the pain in Your heart, child," he said softly, "But this place will be Your home."

Andrew instinctively took half a step back, his fingers trembling slightly: "You can... read my thoughts?"

"Only the parts You are willing to share," Professor X replied gently, then turned to Xiao Han.

"Thank You for bringing them, Mr. Xiao. However, I am curious how You found this place?"

Xiao Han's lips curved into a slight smile: "Super Vision and perception. Your psychic barrier is strong, but buildings don't hide energy signatures."

Cyclops stepped forward: "Professor, we need to confirm his intentions."

"Relax, Scott," Professor X waved his hand, "If Mr. Xiao had ill intentions, we would have known long ago."

He looked at Xiao Han, "Why not come in for a cup of tea? I think we have a lot to talk about."

Xiao Han nodded in agreement, and the group walked towards the academy. Andrew and the other two were taken by Hank McCoy.

That is, Beast, to get settled, while Xiao Han followed Professor X to his study.

Inside the study, Professor X poured two cups of tea: "So, Mr. Xiao, besides bringing those three young people, what is the true purpose of Your visit?"

Xiao Han took the teacup, looking directly into Professor X's eyes: "To make a friend. If one day, this World faces an unprecedented threat, then, we need to unite all forces."

"You mean?"

"Cosmic overlords, the Lord of the Dark Dimension, and other dimensional invaders," Xiao Han's voice was low.

"Mutants, and other forces on Earth, we need an alliance."

A flicker of surprise flashed in Professor X's eyes: "You are calmer than I imagined. However, the relationship between Mutants and humans is already tense. Publicly allying with other metahumans..."

"Precisely why we need to prepare in advance."

Xiao Han set down the teacup, "Charles, Your ideals are noble, but sometimes understanding and tolerance alone are not enough. When the real crisis comes, we need to be ready."

Silence fell between them, broken only by the occasional slight crackle of the wood in the fireplace.

Finally, Professor X slowly nodded: "I will consider Your proposal. But before that..."

His words suddenly cut off, his brow deeply furrowed.

Xiao Han had already sensed the anomaly, the energy fluctuation on the outskirts of the academy, but he hadn't paid it much mind.

"Intruders!" Professor X's voice became serious, "It's Magneto!"

Alarms blared throughout the academy, and the X-Men quickly entered combat readiness.

Xiao Han stood up, golden light swirling in his eyes: "It seems our conversation will have to be interrupted for now."

Professor X nodded gravely: "Erik choosing to act tonight is no coincidence. He must have sensed something."

Xiao Han smiled slightly: "Then let's go see what this Master of magnetism wants."

Before his words fell, the entire academy suddenly shook violently, metal structures emitting an ear-splitting screech of distortion.

Magneto's power was sweeping in from a distance.
