In an instant, she jumped at him. The momentum sent them both tumbling in the janitor's closet, crashing into a mop bucket and kicking over a stack of cleaning supplies. A damp, sour smell hit them instantly.
Furayu landed on the ground with a thud, alongside Inoue sprawled on top of him. Her chest was pressed up against his chin, her hair cascading down upon them like a curtain keeping their privacy. Their eyes locked, breaths shallow and hot against each other's faces.
Neither moved. The world seemed to shrink around them, the dim confines of the closet, their bodies entangled with one another, the heat of frustration and an unspoken simmering chemistry brewing between the two.
"Who left this open." A voice growled from the outside.
A second later, the door slammed shut and the lock clicked firmly into place. Hearing the voice humming as he walked away trapping them in there.
Their fate locked them inside, Inoue still sprawled on top of Furayu.
The silence enveloped them.
Heat enthralled their bodies as the gravity of the situation dawned on them both.
WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY'S SHE JUST STARING AT ME LIKE THIS IS FUCKING NORMAL!?
Furayu panicked, his thoughts erratic and lost, completely misaligned with the expression on his face being as composed as ever. Holding deep eye contact with Inoue.
Her hazel-brown eyes were laced with a kind of softness he wouldn't usually associate with her.
And behind that softness, her mind was also spiralling.
HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH?! WHAT THE HELL?! WHY IS HE NOT MOVING OR SAYING ANYTHING…
But he feels so warm…
Inoue wanted to melt into the heat that he radiated. But she couldn't. Her pride wouldn't allow her to entrust her perfect body to the arms of such a… beast.
Yet that inexplicable warmth pulled her closer.
Her pride loosened its grip.
She relaxed into his arms, her weight naturally pressing down against him.
"You're heavy! Get off!" Furayu blurted in a panic, finding the position far too unnatural.
Why is he so tactless?
She slowly pushed away from him, backing herself up to the door to open it.
Keeping her eyes on Furayu while trying to unlock the door.
Her body froze. The handle wasn't moving. She was trapped. Trapped in a room with him.
Her hand fumbled behind her back. The door was locked.
"... The door's locked." Her head hung low. Her tone was flat and defeated.
"WAIT, IT CAN'T BE LOCKED RIGHT? THERE WAS SOMEONE OUT THERE JUST A SECOND AGO!?" Furayu yelped, his voice cracking with disbelief
He shoved Inoue to the side, desperately twisting the handle.
It didn't move.
Locked in place.
"NO, NO, NO, NO, THIS CAN'T BE… WHY WITH YOU OF ALL PEOPLE?!" He screamed, anguish tightening in his chest. Of all people to be stuck in a confined space with..
it had to be her.
Inoue backed against the wall, her breath shaking. A soft whimper escaped her mouth, a sound that shouldn't belong to her.
"How… am… I… going…" She murmured, eyes glazed with fear, her voice trembling.
"...Have you lost it?" Furayu gently asked, trying to reassure Inoue in her panic.
She tilted her face towards him, in a crazed dazed, grabbing him by the collar and dragging him down. Now face to face, her breath hit hot against his skin.
"I NEED TO PICK UP MY BROTHERS FROM SCHOOL!" She whispered viciously, every word had a sense of absolute urgency.
His eyes widened in disbelief.
"You have brothers?" He gasped in surprise.
Her eyes locked with his. But something about her gaze was… different.
"Yes, they're the cutest things in the world!" She said, her voice light and suddenly full of happiness.
"I see…" Furayu blinked, he was completely dumbfounded by the shift in tone.
"They're so small, cute and squishy, like little teddy bears!" She bubbled out of excitement.
Without realising it, she had closed the distance between them, completely absorbed in the world of her little brothers. Her joy was unbreakable, animated by the thought of her brothers.
On the other hand, Furayu was extremely aware of the shrinking space between them, and very speechless at how… different she was acting.
"They have the chubbiest cheeks, and the biggest, roundest you'll ever see!" She shrilled, her eyes sparkling with joy.
"And they glow when they look at me! Like I'm their whole world!" Her voice had a tinge of excitement.
Furayu was lost for words, completely gobsmacked by how much of a bro-con she was. But there was an even bigger distraction. It was the fact she was now pressed up against him. He couldn't focus on her words properly anymore. The unbearable intimacy, with someone so foul. Yet… someone who could also be such a good sister.?
"My little Jirou and Touru, absolute gems! You should hear how they say, 'Big sister, look!' Always so excited when they're around me!" Her voice droned on, full of pride.
Furayu stiffened. She clearly had no idea how closely she was leaning into him, completely encapsulated in her little word of doting sisterhood.
"You… seem like a great big sister." He muttered, attempting to defuse the one sided erotic situation.
Inoue's posture snapped. Her ego bloomed instantly, inflating to insanity. Her hazel-brown eyes widened, her arms twitched with a sort of delighted craze.
"Thanks…" She replied bashfully.
Wait… that's actually kinda cute?
Furayu froze, confused by his own reaction. The small twitches of glee, the glow in her eyes somehow made her look even more bright. The way she held herself in that exact moment… was undeniably cute.
"Hey, how about you tell me more about your brothers?" He murmured, his tone softened, curiosity peaked.
"Honestly… they're perfect." She said, a soft solemnity masking her gleeful voice.
She slouched slightly against him, body easing in him like it was the most natural thing in the world. Her body felt at home in this position.
And just like that, the manic joy diminished. Something in her eyes looked… distant.
Huh? Why does she look so sad all of a sudden…
Should I comfort her?
Furayu's mind swirled with concern for Inoue. Before he could think it through, his body moved on its own.
The soft pat of his hand landing on her head echoed louder in his mind than it did in the room.
On the surface, he stayed calm. But internally-
WHAT HAVE I JUST DONE-WHAT HAVE I JUST DONE- SHOULD I STOP?
His inner voice screamed, chaos ensued in his head.
"Don't look sad.. You're a great big sister," he muttered, voice trembling, hoping to comfort her.
His mind felt numb with fear, dreading how she might react to his actions or even maybe accuse him of certain things.
"...Yeah. Thanks," Inoue whispered.
Wait.. She might actually be enjoying this? What do I do now? l'll just slo-
"Hey!" She snapped.
He froze, he felt as though her eyes pierced through him. Caught in the act of slowly pulling his hand away.
her eyes glistening through the almost fully fledged tears.
Furayu awkwardly placed his hand back on her head, slowly ruffling her hair and gave her a light smile to try to fix the mood.
