Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 – Azure Sky Sect Annihilation

By dawn, the sect finally stirred. Corpses littered their outer fields, cut clean as though erased by divine judgment. Disciples wailed. Elders stormed out, their qi surging like hurricanes.

Sect Master Xuan Mo stood before the Grand Altar, hands raised. Blue flame coiled around him as the Grand Azure Flame Protection Array ignited. A colossal dome of shimmering azure rose, covering all three mountains, its light piercing the heavens.

The sect rallied. Tens of thousands of disciples filled their ranks. Inner disciples donned battle armor. Outer disciples formed defensive lines. Elders took to the skies, hovering like azure stars.

"This is our sanctuary," Xuan Mo declared. His voice boomed across the mountains. "No intruder shall breach the flame."

But far below, watching from the shadows of the forest, Aezreal smiled faintly.

Sanctuaries burned the brightest when they fell.

The attack began with silence.

Aezreal walked into the dome's shimmering light. The array resisted—roared with power, its flames lashing outward to immolate him.

He raised Nightscar.

One swing.

The dome rippled, shrieked, and cracked. Azure fire shattered into sparks that rained upon the sect like dying stars.

Disciples screamed. Elders surged forward, spells roaring like storms. Sword rivers, flame dragons, lightning strikes—thousands of techniques collided toward the solitary figure.

But he did not move.

Nightscar unfurled its wings of light, and the world itself bent. Spells crumbled mid-air. Elders were torn apart before their techniques finished. The battlefield became a sea of blood and collapsing qi.

Above it all, his voice cut cold as iron:

"Azure Sky Sect… today, you vanish."

>Annihilation

The sect was a slaughterhouse.

Aezreal carved through disciples as though they were shadows. His scythe reaped them by dozens, by hundreds. Blood cascaded down stone steps, soaking the once-holy mountains in rivers of red.

Elders fell one by one. Xuan Mo himself descended in fury, his aura vast as a burning sun. But against Aezreal's chaos-born might, he was nothing. Their clash split mountains, turned skies black. Yet in the end, Xuan Mo's head rolled upon the altar he once guarded.

The Grand Altar of Azure Flame cracked. Its eternal fire guttered, then extinguished, snuffed out like a candle in storm.

Nightscar howled. It drank deep, its veins glowing like molten rivers as it gorged upon the sect's blood and flame.

And when silence finally fell, the Azure Sky Sect was gone.

Not defeated. Not scattered. Erased.

The mountains burned for days. Smoke coiled into the heavens, visible from empires far and wide. Traders whispered. Spies rushed. Emperors sat uneasily upon their thrones.

The annihilation of a sect as vast as Azure Sky was no minor tremor—it was an earthquake that rattled the entire continent.

In Daehan's imperial palace, the emperor frowned over reports. In the Frostspire Theocracy, high priests lit black candles. The Ironblood Horde roared with interest at a foe worthy of their steel.

And across the seas, the Myriad Sword Court unsheathed ancient swords long dormant.

The world had taken notice.

But Aezreal stood upon the ruins of the Azure Sky Sect, Nightscar humming at his side, his eyes calm, unshaken.

Above him, the Omnipotent Sign-In System chimed.

> Ding! Sign-In Complete.

Location: Azure Sky Sect Grand Altar.

Reward: ???

The words glowed across his vision, and for the first time since blood began to flow, Aezreal's smile curved wider.

The road of slaughter had only begun.
