Chapter 70
KAKASHI HATAKE
Kakashi had thought his life forfeit. He had thought it ended, when he had pushed himself way past his limits, yet now he could not believe the sight infront of him and he was not the only one.
"Oi, Kakashi," Gai added from the side, as they recovered from their injuries and the First Hokage had brought him back from the brink of death with a single touch. One touch.
He had heard rumors about the man's prowess as a medical nin but this was out of the ordinary. And Kakashi could not even truly follow the battle happening infront of him.
Six tailed beasts. Six, fully transformed tailed beasts were being pushed back by the combined powers of five shinobi.
"ROAR!" the bijuu roared, as they crushed the diety gates of Hashirama-sama as Obito laughed, as the tailed beasts began to turn and transform. Their bodies began to grow, and their chakra cloak began to shed away as they revealed their true forms.
"You may have been able to defeat them one on one, but I doubt even you can on all six of the tailed beasts at the same time, Hashirama Senju," Obito roared, as the giant nine eyed statue pulled itself out of the ground and stood tall once more.
BOOOOOM!
And suddenly a massive explosion rocked them from behind, and Kakashi turned his head in fear yet saw no enemies.
"That was the tailed beast bomb from earlier," his sensei added.
"It seems like death has made me a bit rusty," the Shodaime-sama added, as the storm of winds from behind settled down.
"I can hold down the three of them and take care of that giant statue as well," the Shodaime-sama added, and the rest gave a nod.
"We will deal with the bijuu first, and then turn towards your wayward student Lord Fourth," the Nidaime sama added.
"This is my failure, and I will handle him," and with that the three Kage, and Hikari Hyuga vanished in the blink of an eye, as the First Hokage put down his hands once more.
"SENPO: DIETY GATES!" and tori gates fell from the sky and trapped the seven tails, the five and four tails.
But Obito was not one to give up, as he moved to break those gates, as visceral and guttural roars tore through the skies.
The Giant statue tried to break the tori gates, but the Shodaime-sama's expression shifted, as a dozen gates appeared above the statue's head.
"Fall!" he ordered, and they fell down, but in a surprising display of dexterity, the gigantic beast punched the air, and broke the gates before they could bring him down.
BOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
The gates cracked, as the giant statue kicked away one of the gates pinning down the five tails, but he saw the First Hokage shift, as another fell down to replace it.
"Well then, it seems like I will need a statue of my own to deal with you," and then suddenly the ground under him began to shift, and in all his life Kakashi had never seen chakra like this.
"SENPO: WOODEN GOLEM!" and what appeared out of the ground, was a giant earthen golem that nearly matched the giant statue in size, and stopped it from breaking out more of the tore gates.
"I am not done yet," and suddenly four wooden clones came out of the Shodaime's back and rushed towards Obito at once.
"You underestimate me," and their attacks simply passed through him, and as they came to attack him Obito simply swallowed them all, using his kamui as the giant statue began to pin down the Wooden golem, but that did not hold, as a dragon roared and emerged from the wooden goldem's shoulders, and began to wind itself over the Gedo Mazo's arm.
And the in a second, Kakashi felt the temperature in the airs shift, as he felt the air dry out and he had to only tilt his head slightly to see the cause of this disturbance.
"Be careful kid. I do not want you to mess up with my jutsu," Tobirama Senju roared from the side, as a giant water prison trapped the three tales within it, while Hikari himself was up in the air with giant greenish fiery wings, with a massive giant spear made out of the same green flames as his wings.
"Senpo:..." he heard him roar as he flung it down at the bijuu below him.
"...HELL'S TRUMPET!" and the spear came down, and the power of it was enough to drown the entire land in a sea of green fire. Kakashi covered his eyes, and when he opened them once more he saw that the Ichibi was now gone, and in its place stood but a singular giant block of glass.
"Is that the power of senjutsu?" Gai gasped, and for the first time ever there was hope in his tone.
"It seems like we are winning," and it was Ao-san's voice.
"Yes," and then he saw the Ninbi jump up into the skies as it tried to swallow up, Hikari-kun, but before the gigantic cat could bit down at him Hikari vanished and was replace by their sensei.
"Minato-sensei," he realised and that was Hiraishin, and suddenly a giant bluish shuriken appeared in his hand.
"What is that?" and there was a strange sound in the air, as if metal was being ground into dust as he heard his sensei scream.
"Futon: Limitless Cellular Shredding Windmill Vortex!" and then he threw it into the Nibi's mouth, and a giant explosion rocked the air and then the Two tails fell down to the ground, and then similarly the Sanbi's screams cut through clearing as well and Kakashi could sense the tides of the battle turn.
"Useless," he heard Obito roar, as suddenly the giant statue opened its mouth.
"Return!" and the Ichibi, Nibi and Sanbi all returned to its mouth, as giant chains erupted up and swallowed them up.
"They have this handled," Ao-san added.
"We must go and help support the Kages," he added, and by now they had recovered enough.
"Let's go," and just before they were about to jump away, the Bijuu roared as one as light surrounded the Hokage's bodies.
"What this?" Sandaime-sama asked as he jumped back, as his body began to crack and peel away.
"What is going on?"

HIKARI HYUGA
Hikari watched as a whitish hue surrounded the four kages, and the realization dawned on him at once. They had defeated three of the six captured bijuu, already and he had just recovered his chakra to fight on and for the first time since this entire war had started they had the advantage.
Powerful as he may be, Obito was no match for the combined might of the four kages, and himself. Even if Madara Uchiha were to join him, Hikari believed that they would have the advantage.
"Hahahahaaa," Obito's laugh cut through the clearing as all of the Hokage felt their chakras fade.
"It seems like your time has come to an end," Obito scoffed, thinking that his victory was assured, as the four Hokage all jumped back, as their bodies faded away.
"Look for even the Gods have turned their backs on you!" he raged, as the three bijuu still present began to struggle against their torii gates.
"With you for gone, my victory is all but assured," and he was confident in his triumph, as Hashirama -sama turned towards him, and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"It pains me to see leave you alone to face our past mistakes, but I am afraid has come young Hyuga," Hashirama Senju said to him, as he faced him with a forlorn smile.
"Indeed. All of this is a result of our failures, but it seems like we have run out of time to correct our mistakes. Still, I feel honored to have fought beside a young man such as you," the Nidaime said as he put his own on his back. and Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded.
"Our time is done, and now you shall carry our will of fire," and then he touched his arm, as Minato-san stepped forward, and smiled awkwardly.
"I am sorry for leaving you with all this mess, Hikari-kun. Thank you for being friends with my son," and Hikari nodded, as he took a deep breath, and gave all four of them a nod.
"Don't worry. You have done your part," and if the four Hokage were vanishing then the same could be said for Madara, and Hikari could sense the five kage struggling against the nin yet for some reason Madara's chakra signature was rather dull, similar to that of a sage.
But from the other chakra signatures it was obvious enough that the five kages were struggling badly. But with Madara gone it would not mater.
Obito was powerful, and his Gedo Mazo was trouble as well. But he could taken them on.
He could out an end to this.
"I will take it from here," and they all nodded, as h looked into Minato-san's eyes.
"I am sorry for all this. If only I had been a better teacher," he said, as he glanced back towards his wayward student, and his eyes were filled with a mixture of guilt pain, and traces of anger.
"So before I go let me give you a little gift of my own," and suddenly Hikari saw his arm glow red as a strange chakra entered his body, and it took him a second a to recognise it.
"Is that..." he gasped, and the Fourth Hokage nodded, as his body began to crumble away.
"It will take you a few minutes to assimilate that chakra, but you will be stronger for it," and by now his body had crumbled down, and only his face remained.
"Goodbye, and don't worry," he said looking far into the distance.
"Help will be here soon," and Hikari nodded, as the Four Hokage vanished, and their reanimated bodies crumbled around him.
"Do you truly believe that you can stop me all by yourself?" Obito questioned, as Hikari's chakra networks burned with the bijuu's chara, and thankfully the channels were expanded enough to let him assimilate it all for otherwise he would have been dead.
"I will, if I have to," he argued, and Obito snarled.
"We will see about that," and then the Gedo Mazo raised its foot and made to stomp down at him, and Hikari on reflex pushed his chakra through the tenketsu as he usually would.
"AGHHH!" and yet he felt only pain, as blood gushed out of his mouth and he fell to his knees.
"AHAHAAAAA! It seems like you are your limit as well," and this was from the imbalance. His body was still trying to adopt to the foreign chakra now flooding his system and right now three different kinds of chakras were coursing through his chakra networks and so it was taking a toll on his entire body.
"Shit," he tried to push himself up, but his body refused to move.
"It's over," he shouted in victory as the shadow of the foot continued to grow bigger and bigger.
"Move! Damn it move!" he snarled as he pushed a kunai into his leg to force it to move but he couldn't, and then suddenly a figure blurred above him.
"Hirudora!" and such was the force of the attack, that the foot was pushed back, as he felt the ground under him move.
"Doton: Mobile Core!" and the ground moved back, as he was Kakashi and Ao Jump infront of him.
"Take all the time you need. We will handle things until then," Kakashi-san added.
"YOU! YOU PESTS!" Obito roared, and he saw Kakashi reach for his eye.
"I have grown rather tired of this damned thing," and then he saw the space around Gedo Mazo's leg shift, as Hatake fell to his knees.
"What the hell are you doing?" Obito raged, but Kakashi refused to give up.
"KAMUI!"
"ROARRRR!" and as the Copy Ninja fell down and began to cough up blood, the giant statue stumbled back, and gave a guttural roar as one of its legs was completely cut off.
"AHHHHHH!" the very ground shook because of that roar, as its back hit the ground.
THUD! THUNKKKKK!
And a giant cloud of dust spread all around, as Gai san jumped back as a blue vapor rushed off of his body.
"Kakashi, you fine?" he asked worriedly, as Hikari pushed his body to assimilate the additional chakra as soon as possible. He could feel that he had help from the inside as well, but still the process was far harder than he had realised.
"Yeah," he said, and just then a loud shout cut through the air.
"KAKASHI!" and they looked up, and saw Obito standing on the torso of the fallen statue as blood dripped down his side.
"Do you really think that you can stop me?" he asaked condescendingly.
"Now, let me show you my true p....." and yet despite his confidence they were all stilled at the sight infront of him, as an arm tore through his chest.
