ERU 1 :
After the purification ended, only one body was there on the stone slab. And that was Nishant.
Just after some seconds his body moved a little, he opened his eyes which had red irises instead of dark brown which he previously had.
He tried to stand up, but failed, his body was too fatigued to do anything. The Captain, Khushi and Margaret watched this but said nothing.
After collecting his breath, Nishant finally broke the silence and said,"What is this place? What you all did to my body? Everypart of my body hurts." his voice was low, not because he wanted it but because can't say any louder than that because of the pain and fatigue.
To his questions Margaret replied "I would advise you to not speak or do any unnecessary movements, your body needs rest. And as for your questions, we are still in the head quarters. And what you just went through is called purification. We did it for you survival, you were originally a human and human can't survive in Eternis. So we just merged your body with a body of a Eternian, now you are half human and half Eternian." her voice was smooth and soft, she didn't show any kind of anger or irritation like Khushi, instead she seemed freindly.
"Help me...? Your guys put me in this situation at the first place." he said with acceptance in his voice, because he also khew he won't be getting back to his home any time soon, because they won't let him. He thought he will co-operate with them for now and in future he will find some way to return back.
While thinking all of this, his eyes fell on the man who was standing behind Margaret, he wore a long gray jacket which had two outer pocket hear his hands and it had 4 silver buttons, under the jacket was a black shirt it had a single pocket near the left part of the chest and had white buttons, he wore gray trousers and black boots.
He was tall,had snow white skin, black hairs and black eyes. On his jacket were 4 flower looking badges of brown, silver and gold colour, and below them was a insignia which had something written on it, a language that Nishant doesn't know.
The man looked back at Nishant, thought something for a moment and said something, something that caused Nishant to go blank, literally blank because he didn't understood a single word that he just said. Which naturally caused Nishant to say "Hein..?".
The attempt of trying to communicate with Nishant by captain and the reaction of Nishant, made Margaret chuckle, even the cold looking Khushi couldn't control her smile.
Margaret looked at her captain with a smile and said,"Captain did you forgot he doesn't know Terexi". Captain also laughed in realisation and said,"Ah sorry I forgot, Margaret can you please tell him what is just said." Margaret nodded and looked at Nishant.
This conversation of Margaret and the man only confused him more. He was about to ask Margaret, but before him she herself gave the translation. She said," Sorry about that, our capital forgot you don't khow our language Terexi yet. So what he said was,
We khow you are here without you will but that's what your fate has assigned you, gods who write the fate have choosen you for this responsibility to protect. Live up to your fate, live up to the expectations of gods. Join us Nishant, join the Elites....."
While Margaret was saying this the capital came close to Nishant and extended his lower right hand, a gesture of wanting a freindship. Nishant accepted his hand, he stood up and said "Ok I will join the Elites..."
Margaret smiled and translated that to her captain. The Captain smiled, a smile with no selfishness, a smile which was not forced, a smile with no expectations for future, it was just a simple smile...a genuine smile...
"Are wo done with him? I think we should leave him to rest", said Khushi it is pretty clear that she doesn't like Nishant.
"Don't be so rude khushi,but what she said is right... Nishant you need rest. Me, Khushi and captain will be leaving now but I will send Emma to you, of you need anything just tell her she will help you. And also collect your clothes from her..."
My clothes.... This was the moment he realised he wasn't wearing anything, he tried to cover himself with his hands out of embarrassment. Captain smiled and Margaret laughed like child who just did a mischievous prank. This might be the only time I regret not having 4 hands... Nishant thought.
Some moments later Emma came, they both greeted each other. And Nishant finally got some clothes on him, Emma took him to a room, "Room no.-15C" written on the gate.
The room had a large bed with some table and chairs in from of it, a toilet and a kitchen was connected to the room. Beside the bed there was a large mirror. He went in front of the mirror and started fixing his hair, and as one of his old habits he started talking to himself,"I did join the Elites but was that a good decision? Will I be able to go back to my world?"
"Want to know your decision was right or wrong?" Said the mirror.
