"Shower time!" Jisoo announced, scrambling toward the bathroom door with renewed energy.
"First dibs on—"
Jinwook's hand shot out, catching Jisoo's shoulder and smoothly maneuvering him aside.
Without breaking stride or saying a word, Jinwook disappeared into the bathroom. The lock clicked with finality.
"That was the most polite shoulder-check I've ever experienced," Jisoo said, blinking at the closed door.
"He didn't even grunt. Just whoosh, and suddenly I'm standing here like a confused penguin."
Yuhyun chuckled, settling more comfortably on my bunk's edge.
"I'll go last. You two figure out the order between yourselves."
Classic Yuhyun—always the responsible older brother, making sure everyone else was taken care of first.
"I'm fine waiting," I said quickly, though my pulse spiked.
I needed those minutes alone to check the pills hidden in the vent, to make sure tomorrow's dose was secure.
