They looked like quite the crew. The pirates The Crimson Troupe had raided. They were rounded up at the center of the ship and were bound hands and feet. Kael had begun treating himself with whatever provisions they had. Fried rice, cooked mushrooms, meat and hard bread and he flushed it all down with a cup of red wine.
Kael let out a satisfied burb. After a moment of rest he looked like he had been rejuvenated. His skin regained its color, fair with a soft red. His eyes had come out looking all healthy and active. And his body looked whole again.
While Kael was taking his time to heal, Leonard toured the ship rounding up every pirate member to the center, and to his greatest dismay none of them was worth his unsheathing gravorn. He single handed beat all of them with bare fist
"That's all of them," Leonard said to Kael. He was just done with his feasting.
"We'll take everything they have back to the Red Damnation and leave them here"
"No please no you can't do this to us you destroyed our ship we can't move" The captain pleaded, his tone like a demand.
"You should be happy we even spared your life" Leonard sneered and clicked his tongue "What are the likes of you doing in New World?"
"We..." The Captain lowered his head, and his crewmates also followed. They wore the terrible look of shame on their faces
Kael waved at Leonard "There will be no killing, everybody will leave here alive okay?"
Leonard exhaled softly and rested his hand on the hilt of his blade
Kael turned facing the captain "As I was saying. We'll take your stuff and in exchange you'll be given the opportunity to see tomorrow" Kael peered at the crewmates behind him "You must have a navigator, you're too many not to, so which one of you is the navigator?" He asked, but was met with a long silence.
The sound of steel sang through the deck as Leonard unsheathed his blade prompting one of them to jump up even with arms and feet bound
"I am the navigator" He stammered and shook, taking quick glances at Leonard with Gravorn in his hand hungry for blood.
"That's good" Kael exclaimed and collected the log pose from Leonard, he walked to the navigator slipping through the on the ground "So tell me. Which island is closest?"
All three pins turned slowly, they were each pointing to different directions "West from here will take you to Moon Island—"
"Don't lie to me"
"I'm not lying. I am not lying" He shook as though thousands of electric volts coursed through his body .
"Continue" Kael said to the navigator, he mention the last islands were the other two were pointing at
"We were going to find our way back to the Grand line, you've got any idea how we're going to do that" Kael asked
"That's a long journey from here. But if you journey south from Sand spear which is northwest from here you'll get to the Red line in about a month time"
Kael nodded his head as he took in all that information at once. He uses his sabre to cut the navigator loose from his binds. "My crew is in need of a navigator, and you look fine doing that job so how about joining crew"
The young man shook violently again, darting his eyes from Kael's sandals to his Captain on his knees. His body came to a gradual halt. He chuckled dryly "I'm sorry but I can't" There was a surprising calm to his tone
"Wide answer" Kael said and Leonard sheathes his blade
Leonard walked up to him. "So...?" He asked
"We've got information and provision, it's time to move" Kael replied. As they were about to cross the long wooden slab used as a bridge to connect both ships the Captain called out "I've seen you before" He announced "At first I thought it was another person, but now I'm sure of it. You are Kael of the Crimson Troupe, with the bounty of one hundred and fifty million berries on your head" He turned to Leonard " And You are Leonard with a bounty of one hundred million berries"
Kael and Leonard exchange stares and look back at the captain. Their gaze were as sharp as the blades in their hands
"I'm not lying I'll show you" He pointed the cabin "I just need to go inside and bring it out"
Leonard's brows squeezed. He paced to the captain and lifted him up to his feet and followed him into the cabin. After some time they came out but Leonard didn't have his hands on the man, he was holding a newspaper which contained a lot of wanted posters. He handed it to Kael. Kael went through everything as quickly as he could. His lips curled and a soft chuckle followed.
"We gotta go" He said to Leonard
"True"
They left and boarded their ship, as promised they left them alive but with no sails or flaps on their ship they were as good as dead. Baits for sea kings.
Leonard loosed the flaps and turned the helm to pick up the wind. As the ship moved Leonard walked to Kael's side. He was resting on the rails leaving his usual seat at the bow
"Why West. I thought we were heading south"
Kael smiled "There's nothing for us there any longer. He has already started his journey" He brings out a wanted poster and upon staring at it a grin appears on his face. On the wanted posters was a young boy with a wide smile stretched from one ear to the other. And beneath his smile was written 'Monkey. D. Luffy' with a bounty of thirty million berries
