"Damn, why do this direction and place look so familiar?" Halfway through the journey, Hal Jordan's expression changed unpredictably.
"What's wrong?" Wonder Woman Diana, who was wrapped in a green flying vehicle, looked at Hal with a grim expression.
"I hope it's not what I imagined, otherwise it would be terrible." Hal's face was a little pale. He increased his energy output and in a short period of time, he arrived at the place where the energy exploded without causing any disturbance or unrest.
"Damn it, things are really getting worse." Looking at the villa below, Hal's mood was so complicated that it was difficult to express in words.
"It seems that you know someone living here." Diana and the others landed on the balcony of the villa, looked at the purple light overflowing from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and turned her head to say to Hal.
"Carol, Carol Ferris, my girlfriend. Damn it." Hal said, and immediately rushed into the bedroom filled with purple light. Then he was blasted out by a burst of purple energy and slid to the feet of Diana and the others.
"Are you sure she's your girlfriend?" Diana looked down at Hal, who had fallen to the ground, a hint of amusement in her eyes. "Regardless, even if you're worried about the lady, your reckless behavior is ungentlemanly."
"Oh my god, are you okay?"
A worried female voice sounded from the broken glass window of the bedroom, and then a purple figure flew out at a rapid speed and hugged Hal, who was lying on the ground, in her arms. Only after she hugged Hal did her voice sound close to him.
"I'm fine." Hal seemed to find the embrace awkward and struggled, but he couldn't break free. Carol's strength was far greater than he'd imagined. He couldn't use the power of the green light to break free, so for a moment, he could only look for help at his two companions who were nearby.
"I suggest you put him down first. He can't withstand your current strength." Diana's voice attracted Carol's attention. Her gentle reminder was not met with gratitude, but with vigilance and disgust.
"Who is she? You already have me, how could there be another woman around you?" Carol's question stunned the three people present, including Hal.
"What are you talking about? Diana's just my friend." Hal seemed surprised that Carol would say such possessive words. For a moment, he didn't know whether he should be secretly happy or annoyed. After all, as a strong woman, such possessive words were not usually heard from her.
"You yelled at me? You're not on my side!" Carol's reaction was bigger than anyone imagined, so big that Hal felt extremely unfamiliar.
"Are you being unreasonable?" Hal retorted subconsciously. He had just spoken normally, and he didn't understand why Carol suddenly reacted so strongly.
"It's because of you that Hal yelled at me." Hal's words did not calm Carol down, but made her even more irritable. She looked at the heroic and beautiful Diana, and her whole body was lit up with a strong purple light.
"It seems that your girlfriend has a lot of opinions about me." Diana frowned slightly, and a shield appeared in her hand, blocking a purple beam of light shooting towards her.
"What the hell are you doing?" Hal felt it was a bit unreasonable to watch the two women suddenly fighting each other. Superman patted his shoulder and said, "Don't worry about them for now. Diana will take care of it. Haven't you noticed? Your girlfriend is under the influence of some kind of energy control. We need to deal with someone else now."
"What are you talking about? Other people?" Hal suppressed his worry and looked up at the sky following Clark's finger. He saw several red balls of light that made him feel uncomfortable. They were falling towards their area like meteorites breaking through the atmosphere.
"Let's go up." Superman glanced around and took the initiative to rush towards the sky towards the red light balls. If possible, he did not want to place the battlefield on the ground, especially in the ground area where humans lived.
Seeing Superman's actions, Hal just thought about it and had some insight into his thoughts. Then he glanced around and he also thought that if the person really came with bad intentions, there would be nothing wrong in setting up the battlefield in the sky area.
"Who are you?" Superman Clark shouted after approaching the red light ball.
"Get out of the way!" He was responded by several red energy beams with deterrent properties.
The beam of light passed by Superman. The person who came obviously had no intention of hurting him, but the meaning of warning him not to meddle in other people's business was clearly revealed in this attack that passed by him.
The red ball of light dispersed like a celestial being, attempting to circumvent Superman, but was struck by a sudden burst of green light from below, striking one of the team members. Hal, following closely behind, saw the opponent launch an attack and instinctively retaliated. The exchange and game of chess between the two sides was completed in an instant, so fast that no one had time to seriously consider it.
The red light stopped, revealing the person inside. Seeing Hal, carrying a green light like an arrow, rushing up from below, Atrocitus grinned cruelly: "Look, a Green Lantern Corps member who escaped the net."
As the leader of the Red Lantern Corps, he harbors deep hatred and a desire for revenge for the massacre of lives in his sector caused by the Guardians' mistakes. It is this hatred that earns him the recognition of the Red Lanterns.
Most of these people were chosen by the red light because they had deep hatred and desire for revenge.
Why did he submit to Thanos? Besides the fact that Thanos's power was so great that it drove him to despair, it was also because Thanos had helped him destroy Oa and the Green Lantern Corps. Despite losing his target for revenge, Atrocitus's inner rage and hatred remained undimmed, and he wanted to work for Thanos's plan. But the Green Lantern Corps, whom he thought extinct, still survived on this planet. This was beyond Atrocitus's imagination. Of course, this also stirred up his boiling rage!
Hatred and rage never left his chest. After donning the red light, he could only continue down this path of revenge, unable to turn back. Even if Thanos had gifted them with treasures and methods of peace, that would only temporarily restore their composure and rationality, allowing them to think without being affected by the power of the red light. Atrocitus was extremely happy when he saw the green light. He even thought it was a guidance and arrangement of fate!

"Fate has decreed my revenge on you!" Atrocitus erupted in crimson, fiery energy. Like a cannonball, he charged at Hal from above. The splattering crimson energy blasted a blood-red ring against the night sky, like a sonic boom.
"Hey, buddy, I didn't provoke you! You've chosen the wrong person for revenge." Hal mobilized the energy of the green light to build a solid barrier in front of himself and shouted.
However, Atrocitus ignored Hal's words. With an expression of mixed ecstasy and exposure, he crashed into the barrier that Hal had erected like a cannonball.
"The souls of Sector 666 send their greetings." Atrocitus grinned, a slightly sinister grin forming before a fiery crimson energy began to erratically explode. Vast globs of crimson energy splattered across the night sky, like blood-red flowers blooming against the night sky.
"Damn, what kind of energy is this!"
Hal, flung away by the sudden explosion, felt a sharp decrease in the energy in his hand before he could regain his composure. The thick barrier was being burned and pitted by the strange red energy, which was burning like fuel. It even threatened to spread throughout his body.
Since becoming a Green Lantern, Hal had never seen such a strange and bizarre energy before! Even the Green Lantern's nemesis, the Yellow Lantern, only neutralized the Green Lantern, rather than using the Green Lantern's energy as fuel.
"The flame of the red light will burn away all filth." Atrocitus roared and rushed forward again.
Superman wanted to support Hal, but was stopped by several other figures from the Red Lantern Corps.
"The commander of the legion is carrying out his revenge. Could you please not interfere or disturb him?" said Blitz, a Red Light member who looked like a female devil, wearing a helmet with devil horns and skull-shaped blood-red devil wings behind him.
Superman responded with two scorching rays.
"What a shame." Blitz's face was filled with regret as a ball of red flame energy exploded from his body, forming a barrier that blocked the beam and burned it away. "Although we're still unskilled, Master has shown us the higher limits of the Red Lantern! You're a Kryptonian, right? What's the molecular arrangement of Kryptonite?"
At Blitz's words, a red Kryptonite, a color distinct from other Kryptonites, condensed from nothing in her palm. The energy that emanated from it caused Superman's expression to change drastically.

"Let me go!" Carol, bound tightly by a rope, felt the power surging through her body subside. She could feel its presence, but it had become inert and difficult to control. This made it difficult for her to break free from the rope.
"Let you go, what do you want to do?" Diana asked with a smile.
"I'm going to help him! He's in danger!" Carol subconsciously answered what she wanted to do in her heart. She looked at the green light in the sky that was suppressed by a red light, her face full of worry.
"I'll go help him, provided you don't cause me any trouble." Diana negotiated.
"Why should you go? I am his true love! It should be me who goes." Carol glared at Diana about this issue. In her heart, the woman in front of her was a shameless person who was competing with her for love. She could not tolerate her being attentive to Hal.
"You are too deeply influenced by some force. Asking you to help him may only cause more trouble." Diana rejected Carol's suggestion without hesitation.
Just as Carol was about to say something, Diana suddenly threw a blade in a certain direction.
"Wow, I've been discovered." A cat-like figure burst out with powerful red energy, and sprayed out a red beam of light that enveloped the blade thrown by Diana. Under Diana's sharp gaze, the blade was like touching high-temperature paper, melting quickly and then evaporating.
The red figure deftly stepped on the air, refracting multiple times at a dizzying speed, before landing gently. Enveloped in a fiery red light, a cat stared with blood-red, gem-like eyes at Carol, who was protected by Diana.
"A cat? A talking cat!" Carol stared at the cat in front of her in amazement, feeling that her worldview had been severely challenged today. Well, actually, her worldview had already been nearly shattered since she met Green Lantern and learned about Superman's existence. But today was particularly intense.
"Meow, can you hand her over to us?" Lingxing, a cat and member of the Red Lantern Corps, licked his paws, his eyes swept over Carol, and he looked at Diana and asked.
"Are you targeting Carol? That's an unreasonable request." Diana took out her sword and shield.

Diana's expression changed. "You need the energy in Carol's body? As far as I know, the only person who collects this energy is a man named Thanos. Are you in cahoots with him?"
"That's Master, meow." Spirit Star nodded, giving Diana a heart-sinking answer. The cat's words clearly proved that Thanos wasn't alone. He already had subordinates and forces within this universe, and he possessed a method for pinpointing the locations of other Lanterns. He possessed a vast number of manpower capable of gathering all this power simultaneously.
This is not good news for them!
Even if they did end up fighting Thanos, they would have to consider the strength of his subordinates. Looking at the fierce battles in the sky, it was clear that Thanos wasn't recruiting any weaklings.
"Do you really have to stop me?" Lingxing arched his body and made signs of attacking.
Seeing Lingxing's swollen body, Diana gathered her thoughts and tightened her grip on the sword and shield. "I won't show mercy just because you're a cute little kitten."

Suddenly, as Lingxing and Diana clashed, a figure appeared behind Carol, aiming a device at her back. Wisps of purple energy extended from behind Carol toward the device.
