"Have you made new food?"
The moment she saw Luke, An Jing sprang out of Gwen's body like a spring. Her black body resembled a snake, its tail connected to Gwen's body, and its head stretched four or five meters, reaching in front of Luke. Her face was filled with excitement. Gwen, who had been dragged along by An Jing all the way, almost walking at full speed, was embarrassed.
She quickly pushed Peter Parker out beside her: "This is Peter Parker, I brought him here."
"Let him wait a moment! His body is normal! We have more important things to deal with now. Please prioritize, okay?" An Jing turned her head with dissatisfaction and looked at her host. That dark face was filled with dissatisfaction that everyone could see. When those white eyes fell on Peter who was pushed out, they were full of disgust.
"Is your main concern, that you ask me for food?" Luke said, shoving his hands into the pockets of his white coat. He looked at An Jing, whose head was almost touching his, and then he said hello to Peter, who was a little nervous. This was the person he was examining, so he couldn't scare him. Really, he just wanted to examine Peter this time, not do anything else, just draw some blood.
"Don't be nervous, it's just a physical examination. The whole process is just like what I told Miss Stacy, she will be there the whole time. She can even do some auxiliary work herself." Luke tried his best to lower the other party's vigilance.
Peter's inner vigilance had indeed been reduced considerably by Luke's words. Ever since the spider bite, he hadn't thoroughly examined his body. Glancing at his girlfriend Gwen, he nodded and asked, "What should I do?"
"Gwen is very familiar with the instruments here. She has also done the corresponding examinations here, so you can let her take you there." Luke shrugged.
Peter's vigilance suddenly decreased a lot.
"What about me?" An Jing stretched out a tentacle and pointed at herself.
"What do you want to do?"
"I want to eat something! The latest one you made. I can smell it, don't try to hide it from me!" An Jing said confidently.
"I'm impressed by your obsession with food," Luke couldn't help but reply.
"My first host was an interstellar hunter, but his hunting methods were all focused on finding food, and he didn't care whether the ingredients were raw or refrigerated. He had an incomprehensible obsession with food. Then, because the prey he hunted was too powerful, he died in that hunt, and I luckily survived." An Jing explained the reason without any hesitation: "I lived with him for a long time, and his obsession with food is almost etched into my genes."
"There is no good or evil, just a pure passion for food."
"So what Venom said about you once wanting to cook a pot of symbiotes is true?" Luke was stunned.
"I just wanted to try something I hadn't tasted before, but strictly speaking, I didn't succeed that time. It was just an idea. Venom was afraid of me only because he was in the pot at the time." An Jing said calmly. "So, can I eat new food?"
"No." Luke shook his head.
An Jing's expression changed obviously, as if she was about to throw a tantrum in front of Luke.
"There is too little of the original liquid now, and it has not been filtered. I don't think it is suitable as food." Luke told An Jing the reason before he started begging for food three times in a row.
"I can eat anything. Don't worry about me getting a stomachache." An Jing argued.
"No, that's not the reason. It's because those fluids have the ability to affect people's emotions. And obviously, your emotions are an obvious big problem." Luke shook his head.
"What's the problem?" An Jing was determined to get to the bottom of it. She wanted her to give up the food in her mouth, which was a big test.
"I can't let you act crazy while drunk, understand?" Luke rolled his eyes. "If phenylethylamine is food and a condiment to you, and soul crystals are the main course, then the original liquid is equivalent to alcohol, and it's strong alcohol at that. You're already a foodie, and I don't want you to become an alcoholic. Especially, I can't let you take advantage of this opportunity to act crazy while drunk."
If there was a drunken symbiote in the city, Nick Fury would probably be pissed. Luke didn't want to face his dark face when he had nothing to do.
"No discussion?" An Jing still didn't give up.
"You need to wait. Little Habs haven't eaten either of them yet. As a mother, you shouldn't be in a hurry. You need to at least wait until I filter the original liquid before you eat it." Luke said.
"I don't admit it." An Jing saw that Luke was not moving in, and she started to make some plans of her own in her mind.
"Don't even think about stealing food. You definitely won't be able to withstand the unfiltered liquid. Don't split your other consciousnesses by then. You guys are all drunk together in Hebolun." Luke keenly noticed An Jing's abnormality. She easily backed down in front of food, which was not in line with her setting. She had dared to snatch food from the tiger's mouth and compete with Little Hab for food for the soul crystal.
For a bite of food, she was not even afraid of the fire burns that the symbiote feared the most. Would she easily back down after a few words from Luke?
"I can't." An Jing, whose thoughts were exposed, became angry and yelled with her mouth wide open.
"That better not happen, or I'll stop feeding you." Luke casually spit out a deadline under his quiet, desperate gaze: "Ten years minimum."
"No meals, no meals, no meals again!" An Jing cursed and shrank back into the host's body, completely withdrawing into herself.
Peter's physical examination didn't take long, about an hour, and Peter and Gwen said goodbye to Luke with his physical examination report. Of course, some of the blood drawn during the test was still stored in the laboratory.
…
"Master, Nick Fury is calling."
In the laboratory, Luke, who was studying Peter's blood, heard the White Queen's notification.
"Two things."
As soon as the call was connected, Nick's face was projected onto the virtual screen by Bai Hou. Nick on the screen had a serious expression and a solemn tone.
"First, we haven't found the mages living in this city yet, but the good news is that the agents I sent to Nepal have found some traces of mages. Our agents have already made contact with some of them."
"That's really good news. So, what about the second one?" Luke accepted the result of this mixed bag.
"Second, there's a message over there."
"What message?"
"The Sorcerer Supreme is only willing to see three people. One is you, one is Tony Stark, and the other is a surgeon named Stephen Strange!"
