Chapter 100 - Prince of Asgard

Nick ultimately gritted his teeth and accepted the purchase instructions Luke presented. This was tantamount to recognizing the vampires' currency properties. Of course, if they both accepted it, then this currency property was just a game between the two of them. At best, it was still just a barter, with the title but not the title. But Nick didn't believe Luke was only dealing with him in this way.

See what the other party took out?

Just the thing called Holy Light is enough to make people as tempted as the longevity potion.

As for the vampire race possessing monetary attributes? That's fine too!

The current beneficiaries were eager for Luke to establish a small circle, so that valuable items like the longevity potion could only circulate within that circle. After all, the longevity potion currently required a qualification and a queue to purchase it. While the number of vampires with high quality and age might decrease, the number of people in need of the potion would likely increase. Rather than fighting over it later, it was better to establish a small circle from the beginning.

Vampires, as a new currency, linked to longevity potions, were undoubtedly acceptable to those who benefited from the current situation. After all, they all had a stockpile of vampires, and they were of decent quality. Although some had been sold privately for various reasons, most of them were of low quality.

With their business acumen, they naturally understood that once vampires possessed currency properties, their value would increase significantly, meaning their vampire inventory would become even more valuable and rarer! Perhaps some of them had considered this, but they simply lacked the ability to assign such value to vampires. The only one with the ability and prestige to do so was Heberon, who possessed the longevity potion.

The financiers were ecstatic about Luke's move!

At least in Nick's mind, Luke's move was the finishing touch. It not only brought new benefits and social circles to everyone, but also elevated his and Hebron's status, gradually becoming superior. Even Obadiah's resurrection, Justin Hammer's release from prison, and Dario Agger, who was still struggling for freedom at Roxxon Oil, applauded Luke.

Fortunately, S.H.I.E.L.D. and he were both vested interests, quite close and closely tied. So Nick was happy to help Luke connect and facilitate something. After all, if it really worked, the thousands of elite vampires within S.H.I.E.L.D. would instantly become a huge bargaining chip in his hands.

Nick was daydreaming when he was interrupted by his own agent Phil Coulson on the phone.

"You better have something important to say, Agent Coulson," Nick answered the phone in a serious tone.

"Sir, the prince is here again." Agent Phil heard something wrong in his superior's tone and vaguely realized that the other party wanted him to go on a business trip again. He gave an answer almost immediately to show that he did have something very important to do.

"Prince? Which prince? There are so many princes in this world, Agent Coulson! If you are free, I recommend you go to Africa. There is some trouble there and they need someone to take charge." Nick got into the car and said as he started it.

"Asgard! It's the prince of Asgard, do you remember? Thor Odinson, the one who plays with the hammer!" Agent Phil had to remind his superior.

squeak!

The car, which had just started, braked suddenly on the road, and Nick's face changed instantly.

"Where is he?" Nick asked urgently, not caring about violating traffic rules. He didn't really like those powerful alien gods coming to Earth because they were all trouble! Either they brought trouble with them, or they were trouble themselves! So when he heard Agent Phil's words, he immediately felt that new trouble was coming.

"It's right next to me. Oh, hang on! That's my car! Oh my God, you can't do this!"

As soon as Agent Phil finished speaking, Nick heard screams from the communicator. Agent Phil's screams, as if a loved one had died, were particularly irritating to his eardrums.

"Agent Coulson? Agent Coulson? Listen, I don't care what happens over there, keep an eye on him! Understand? If possible, take him back to the base." Nick Fury shouted orders into the communicator, and then the car started again, roaring into the traffic flow amid the cursing sounds of the vehicles behind.

The other side.

Phil Coulson looked palely at a man dressed in medieval clothes, holding a hammer in his hand and with a red cloak behind him, who was looking at him innocently. If the man did not have a pulled down door in his hand, this innocent expression would indeed be very deceptive.

"Don't blame me. Your Midgard's transportation vehicle is too fragile. I just pulled it gently." Thor Odinson, the god of thunder, said as he wanted to prove himself. So, under Phil's desperate gaze, he pulled down the other door on the same side of the car.

"Look." Thor closed the car door with a helpless look on his face.

"You don't have to be so rough." Phil said weakly.

"I didn't use any strength at all." Thor kicked the car, flipping it over and landing heavily on the ground. He winked at Phil: "See, now you call it using some strength."

"Okay, whatever you like. Fortunately, I didn't drive out my Lola, otherwise I would have to duel with you." The only thing Phil was thankful for now was that the car that was badly ravaged and looked very miserable was not his beloved Lola.

"Duel? Hahaha, excuse me, but I can beat someone like you until I vomit." Thor looked Phil up and down and laughed.

"I've asked someone to pick us up. Also, my boss wants to see you." Phil hung up the phone and said to Thor.

"This, um, car or something, can't be driven anymore?" Thor asked in confusion, holding the hammer and pointing at the car he kicked aside.

"Does it look like it's drivable now?" Phil shrugged, feeling somewhat powerless in the face of this reckless alien prince. Even though Thor seemed like a good person to him.

"The quality is really bad." Thor complained, "I'll give you an Asgardian aircraft as compensation for your loss later."

"It seems you've truly grown up." Phil said warmly to Thor with a familiar, friendly smile. On his first visit, the prince hadn't even bothered to compensate; he'd even considered the damage as his due. He was arrogant and conceited. Now, at least, he understood the consideration of compensation.

"Can you tell me why you came to this planet this time?" Phil glanced at the sky and found that the contact had not yet arrived. Taking advantage of the favorable atmosphere, he asked tentatively. Before his boss met Thor, as someone with a connection to Thor, he naturally tried to extract as much information as he could.

"I'm here to visit a wizard. But there's no rush, the other party is not in a hurry to see me. So I have plenty of time." Thor said whatever he wanted to say, without realizing that Phil was trying to trick people.

"Mage?" Phil blinked. He seemed to have heard some incredible information from the words of the big man in front of him. SHIELD had just fought a war with the vampires of the dark world.

"Supreme Sorcerer. You are the guardian of Midgard! What? Don't you know?" Thor gave Phil a strange look. "I remember you said that you are the world's largest organization that maintains world security and peace. I thought you were subordinates of that wizard."

"No, we are not." Phil felt his throat dry. "We are an official organization composed of various countries in this world."

"Now I understand." Thor nodded, but his unconcealed expression and eyes revealed the meaning of "No wonder you are so weak."

"Where's your brother? That Loki? How's he?" Phil felt hurt. He wanted to say that they were actually quite strong, just weaker than you. But seeing Thor's silly expression, Phil suddenly felt that there was nothing more to explain. So he swallowed the words back and calmly changed the subject.

"Loki." Thor repeated the name, his tone and expression instantly falling, which made Phil's heart skip a beat. "I came here this time to ask the Sorcerer Supreme to find Loki's whereabouts. But I just got here and was dumped here. Luckily, I saw you right away."

"What happened? Loki's missing?" Phil's brain suddenly started ringing with alarm bells! In his mind, the prince named Loki was much more dangerous than the big, stupid guy in front of him! The other party had a history of launching destructive weapons here!

"Yes, he couldn't accept his own life, nor his own failure, and he jumped from the Rainbow Bridge in front of his father," Thor said with a bitter face. "No one knows where he is in the universe now. My father has been trying to find out about him all this time."

"It sounds complicated." Phil breathed a sigh of relief, but quickly acted as if he felt the same way and comforted Thor.

"Come on, I know you have a bad impression of him. After all, Loki has done a lot of wrong things. But thank you anyway." Thor first exposed Phil's anger, then said with understanding. He didn't understand these things before. His mind was only full of various fighting techniques, fighting, drinking, and war.

Phil smiled awkwardly after being exposed. But soon someone came to save him from embarrassment. A SHIELD Harrier aircraft slowly fell from the sky, and the rear door opened, revealing two familiar faces.

Hawkeye Clint Barton.

Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow.

The Harrier took off after picking up the passengers, its interior remarkably stable. Thor twisted back and forth in his seat, feeling somewhat uncomfortable. Finally, he tore off the armrests and seatbelts beside him, finally settling into a more comfortable position.

"You must know where Jane and Eric are? I want to see them." Thor expressed his request to Phil. He hadn't seen his Earth girlfriend and friends for almost a year, and Thor missed them.

"Of course, that's no problem. You can go see them anytime, or we can arrange for them to come see you. Dr. Eric Selvig is busy lately and may not be able to spare the time, but Ms. Foster should be able to," Phil said. As the Earth girlfriend of the alien prince, Jane Foster has always been under the surveillance and protection of S.H.I.E.L.D., of course, this surveillance and protection is not discovered by the protectors.

This protection will not last forever.

The journey didn't take long. After bringing Thor back to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, Phil first took him to change into presentable clothes. He said, "You can't go on a date with Miss Foster in this outfit. It'll be socially disastrous for her." "Of course, if possible, it would be best to get a full-body checkup. If you and Miss Foster get too emotional and something happens during a date, no one knows if you could cause harm. After all, you can't even control your own strength right now. S.H.I.E.L.D. has a full set of testing equipment, and the results can be obtained quickly."

Nick, who had hurried back from Hebron, didn't meet Thor immediately. Instead, he first learned some of the information he knew from Phil and asked Natasha and Clint about their perceptions. In their words, he was extremely lively, like a belligerent lion.

Soon Nick met the so-called lively, aggressive, lion-like Prince of Asgard. He was wearing a formal suit and was pulling at his tie, feeling uncomfortable. He kept trying to pull it off, but the tighter he pulled, the more uncomfortable he felt.

"Oh my God, is this kind of clothes popular in Midgard now? I don't think it's suitable for combat at all. It's very uncomfortable to wear." Thor complained as he followed Phil.

"Prince Thor?" Nick gave a tentative title.

"Don't call me Prince, just call me Thor. Are you their leader? You don't look very capable." Thor waved his hammer and looked Nick Fury up and down, his tone full of disappointment. "Midgard doesn't seem to have the tradition of strong men like Asgard! I thought the leader of your organization would be at least a little stronger."

Nick's mouth twitched.

"I'm hungry. I hope to eat something." Thor asked without hesitation.

"There will be food, you can choose whatever you want. The bill will be charged to S.H.I.E.L.D." Nick nodded.

"You are a good man, but I won't owe you money. I can exchange some things for some, um, the paper money you have here." Thor developed a little affection for Nick, but not much.

"Phil told me that you came here this time to meet a certain wizard?" Nick already understood Thor's general character, so he didn't play any evasive, roundabout language tricks, because that might backfire and the other party wouldn't understand what he was saying at all, or would understand it in the completely wrong way.

"Yeah." Thor nodded.

"We also happen to want to meet that wizard and thank him for protecting this planet for so long. I think as organizations that protect world security, we should have a lot to talk about and can cooperate in many areas." Nick stared at Thor and said, "I hope you can make some connections or tell us where they gather."

"It's fine for me to know them, but I'll tell you where they gather." Thor looked confused. "I don't even know where the mages gather."
