Chapter 83 - Nick: Is this the legendary degree of the cosmic race +1?

"The human body is too fragile." Venom changed his position in Luke's hand and expressed his sigh through the communicator Luke made for him.

He has become familiar with Luke in the past few days. Although he has a bad temper, he knows how to judge the situation. After being suppressed by Luke several times, he has become much more obedient now. At least he has begun to learn to accept his new identity.

An experimental subject.

Well, the experiment is an experiment, and the body is a symbiotic body.

Although the process was somewhat difficult, Luke treated him well outside of the experiments. He was very satisfied with the customized rations Luke gave him. It was the first time he knew that customized synthetic rations were even better! He didn't have to go to great lengths to control the host to do things that would stimulate his emotions. He just had to tell Luke his preferred "flavor" and then he would enjoy the delicious rations.

Venom even wanted to live symbiotically with Luke, because he thought Luke's brain was a delicious, high-quality brain that really appealed to him! He'd been trying really hard to convince Luke to accept him into his body these past few days, promising, but not limited to, that he would be obedient, that he would protect Luke's safety, and that he would make Luke a superhuman being with powerful fighting and healing abilities.

Unfortunately, Luke's attitude towards his attempts to deceive him was always, "You say yours, I do mine." But if you dare to get inside me, Little Habu will explode with a fierce roar. Venom had already been burned to a pulp by Habu more than once, and now Little Habu had a strong grudge against him, always wanting to set him on fire.

For example, now, even if he was obediently letting Luke manipulate him like a puddle of mud, little Habu still exposed a small eye on the skin of Luke's right wrist, staring at him fiercely without letting up.

"Ding-ling-ling!"

"Your phone is ringing. No, there's no need to call that intelligent system, I can do it!" Venom diligently popped out a black tentacle, stuck to the phone more than two meters away, and pulled it back. In the middle, he also considerately helped Luke click on the answer button, and held it up to Luke's ear.

"What's up, Commissioner Fury?" Luke frowned when he saw a dark-haired figure on his phone. He recalled his recent interactions with Nick Fury. The answer he finally got was that the symbiote experiment that this black-hearted guy promised him hadn't been delivered yet! "Did you finally remember that you still have two symbiote experiments that you haven't given me?"

"Don't be impatient, Luke." Nick's expression remained unchanged. "You have to wait until we've studied and become familiar with this alien life form. Also, you need to give me some time to address the discontent among the people."

"Ha, those idiots are being researched to the point of being miserable." Venom laughed with schadenfreude, just like the quiet mockery he had shown him when he first saw him.

"Who's talking?" Nick frowned.

"Can I talk to him?" Venom is obedient.JPG.

"Of course." Luke nodded.

Then Nick discovered that the face that was originally Luke's on his phone screen had been replaced by a dark and hideous face of the opposite sex.

"Congratulations, your organization is going to be famous among all the symbiotes in the universe." Venom grinned with a big mouth, looking terrifying, but in fact, everyone could see the excitement in his tone and expression.

"What do you mean?" Nick felt a strange unease cross his mind. He sensed something was amiss in the symbiote's words.

"The symbiote community has its own information network! Every symbiote is in this network! I've heard those guys scolding you these days, madly exaggerating your terror and stupidity. Although they are all bad guys, in the symbiote community, your organization is already half on the blacklist." Venom said with a smile.

He loved exaggerating the severity of certain problems, then watching others fret and fear over them. This was his pleasure! However, he hadn't enjoyed this kind of pleasure in a long time, and Luke didn't buy it. And now, he had successfully obtained this long-lost pleasure from this charcoal-headed man. The only regret was that he was a little far away, unable to fully experience the emotions he was feeling up close.

Nick's already dark face immediately became even darker.

In other words, without his knowledge, S.H.I.E.L.D. had already offended a cosmic life form? Given that this life form needed a symbiotic relationship with its host, wouldn't that also indirectly offend all the forces in the universe that had established cooperative relationships with them? Nick's defenses nearly broke at the thought!

Although Nick wasn't sure whether the symbiote's claims were true or false, the fact that it knew about the inhumane experiments S.H.I.E.L.D. had been conducting on the symbiotes suggested they were plausible. The only thing that Nick wasn't sure about was whether the symbiotes truly had a community information network capable of communicating across the universe.

If this is true, then the value of the symbiont will undoubtedly increase a lot.

As for S.H.I.E.L.D. becoming famous among a few civilizations in the universe through the symbiote's information network?

Nick said it was unfair!

The Cree came and we studied the Cree. Nothing happened.

The Skrulls left behind corpses, and we studied the Skrulls, but nothing happened.

The symbiote is here, we're just starting to research it, and then something goes wrong?

Can he be blamed for this?

Besides, he's not the only one doing research! Isn't Luke also conducting research using symbiotes as experimental material?

But looking at the symbiote on the phone screen that looked free and relaxed, and then thinking about the five symbiotes in his own laboratory who were heavily imprisoned and strictly managed, Nick had to give up his fantasy and face reality.

"What's the matter?" Luke pushed Venom, who was about to say something, back onto the lab table and asked Nick's dark face on the screen.

"There's a giant lizard running around in your city, don't you want to do something about it?" Nick composed himself and asked Luke.

"What does this have to do with me? That should be a matter for SHIELD and the authorities. Who do you think I am? A Spider-Man who fights crime? Or an Iron Man who wears a battle suit to social gatherings and acts as a hero when people meet him on the road?" Luke raised his eyes and sneered at Nick's attempt to use words to get his help for free.

"Okay, a symbiote!" Nick raised his hand and offered his reward first. "This city is your territory! You don't want to see it destroyed, do you? We found Dr. Connors's two laboratories in the sewers and obtained some information from them. We don't need your help with other problems. You just need to help improve this slightly incomplete formula. If we can make a serum after the improvement, that would be even better!"
