Chapter 75 - Whereabouts, Thoughts

"There are a lot of wanderers in this world. They are losers in life, with no future, no prospects, and their only source of income is the government's relief funds. Some of these people disappear every day, and no one cares where they go, or whether they're dead or what! Relax, Terry will bring back more test subjects, and Doctor, your responsibility is to ensure that they successfully coexist with their hosts as much as possible. Everything else has nothing to do with you, so you don't have to worry about it."

Carlton Drake saw Dr. Dora's hesitation and reluctance, secretly cursing her for being soft-hearted, yet he had to soothe her panic with words. Carlton saw what he was doing as a great undertaking! A remarkable research project that could change the world and usher in a new era for humanity! With success, he could secure a new planet for humanity! A planet where both species could coexist and depend on each other.

He never paid any attention to those homeless people and losers on the street. To him, the fact that they could contribute a little to his research was the only glorious moment in their failed and worthless lives. They should even be grateful to him for giving them such an opportunity.

What if it succeeds?

That is a completely different new life.

In this regard, Carlton will not allow anyone to retreat, nor will it allow anyone to drag their feet.

"Okay." Dr. Dora wanted to say something, but when she saw Carlton's calm face and those eyes that revealed paranoia, she was startled and swallowed back what she wanted to say and replaced it with a submissive answer.

"Very good." Carlton smiled, his tone softening and encouraging. "If you feel bad about this, why not work harder to find a solution to the rejection reaction between these symbiotes and the human body as soon as possible? That way, there will be no more casualties in the experiment, and we can achieve unimaginable success."

Luke's laboratory in Hebron.

The symbiote An Jing was talking at length: "I don't know. My understanding of your planet is all based on Gwen's cognition. My companions, well, I really don't want to use the word companions to describe the relationship between them and me, but I can't find a better way to put it. They should all have been captured."

"By whom?"

"Life Foundation? That should be the name. I recognize the words on the spaceship now. You can go look for it. Really, those are just the scum inside the symbiote, the bad boys! They are exiled and imprisoned! You can use them for experiments at will, and I promise that no trouble will come to you." The symbiote quietly instigated Luke to attack her companions again.

Luke gave her a strange look. If those symbiotes were all bad boys and scum, then how did you, a symbiote who claimed to be a good boy, end up associating with them?

"Your look is very rude." Quiet eyes glared at Luke: "By the way, if you have anything else to ask, ask it quickly. I want to change my mood today."

Luke shook his head, pulled out a small, round spray bottle, and handed it to Gwen, who stood there like a wooden figure. Gwen seemed to come alive, quickly reaching out to take the small spray bottle from Luke. This was the symbiote's food, Quiet, who had become more picky about food. Her own emotions alone could no longer satisfy Quiet's appetite and make her feel satisfied.

"Can't you give me a little more at once? This is only enough for me to eat for a few meals." An Jing was dissatisfied.

"Eating too much makes you lazy," Luke offered. "Giving me too much at once, when will you be willing to come over and let me study you next time?"

"An excuse! And an extremely perfunctory excuse at that." An Jing was a rare person who dared to argue with Luke in Heberon. Ever since Luke cut off a part of her tissue during the first experiment, she was no longer quiet. Instead, she violently scolded Luke for thirty minutes, using at least five or six languages, including an alien language that no one could understand.

In the end, Luke took the spray bottle filled with emotion synthesizer and sprayed it on the head three times, and it turned into a puddle of mud and stopped.

From that day on, Luke and Gwen discovered another side of Quiet, irritability.

"You may leave now, Miss Gwen. Take Miss Anjing with you." Having achieved his goal, Luke unceremoniously ordered them to leave. He didn't want to continue this meaningless conversation with Anjing. Gwen, the tool, gave Luke an awkward smile, took the food Anjing had bought herself, and hurried out of the lab.

Gwen took a taxi from Heberlen to go home. She seemed to be resting with her eyes closed in the back seat, but in fact she was communicating with An Jing in her mind.

"I have a new idea!" A quiet voice emerged in Gwen's mind.

"You have new ideas every day!" Gwen is now very skilled at having conscious conversations with An Jing in her own mind, quickly and accurately.

"That's a really great idea." An Jing said excitedly, "What do you say about capturing Luke?"

"What do you mean?" Because it was a communication of consciousness, Gwen easily understood the meaning of An Jing's words, but because of this, she found it incredible.

"Don't play dumb! What's so good about that silly boy named Peter? It's much better to follow Luke. According to your human needs, as a partner, he is much better than that Peter!" An Jing broke the window paper.

"If this is your new idea, I suggest you change to another one that is more creative and has a higher success rate." Gwen was a little annoyed.

"Okay, okay, you're the host, I respect your opinion. But I also hope you can consider mine." An Jing said, "That Peter is too immature. He doesn't even dare to confess to you."

"You're just trying to preserve your future food supply." Gwen exposed An Jing's sinister intentions without hesitation.

An Jing muttered a few more words in Gwen's mind. Annoyed, Gwen picked up the spray bottle and sprayed it on her face. In an instant, Gwen's face was enveloped by An Jing, and then it disappeared into her body in an instant, contentedly entering a state of calm. The whole face was like a flash of flower, suddenly appearing and disappearing in an instant. The driver in the front seat happened to glance in the rearview mirror and rubbed his eyes, thinking that he had been driving for a long time and his eyesight was starting to blur.

Hebron.

After Gwen left, Luke ordered White Queen to search for news about the Life Foundation. If nothing unexpected happened, he would likely have to deal with this company. As for how, Luke hadn't yet determined. However, if his target was the symbiote, they would likely not let him go, no matter what.
