Chapter 24: The Inevitable Battle, Part 3

As the night fell, a heavy garbage truck came rushing towards us like a bulldozer.

In the greenskin camp, conflicts and explosions are almost commonplace, so much so that most greenskins are unable to react immediately.

This provided Taylor's convoy with plenty of time and opportunity, especially as the Space Wolves tore through the enemy infantry like a ferocious beast.

Two-meter-tall Space Marines wield chain swords and kill the enemies of the Empire as easily as cutting butter. This is a scene that mortals will rarely see in their lifetime, but it is now happening here again and again.

The greenskin's blood and flesh soaked the silver-gray armor. The wolf let out a terrible howl, and Taylor was sitting in the co-pilot seat.

From time to time, he would extend his weapon through the firing port and use his laser pistol to shoot down the attacking orcs.

Frankly speaking, he felt that he was a bit redundant. At least for now, the entire crew might not have killed as many people as a single Space Marine.

This is the overwhelming power of the Emperor's Angels. No wonder the Empire, which worships military power, admires the existence of Space Marines so much.

When the heavy, roaring chainsaw cut through the enemy's body and he melted the enemy's vehicle with a melta grenade, the 15th squad, which lacked heavy weapons, seemed redundant in comparison.

Taylor said seriously. "Damn it, we're just runners-up, but it's probably time for us to get back to work."

Taylor watched the smoking behemoth getting closer and closer. The tank definitely couldn't get in, so it could only park beside it to block the greenskin reinforcements from entering.

They were to perform the most common duties of the Imperial Guard: guarding and stationing.

Taylor methodically ordered the guys to prepare makeshift shelters and engineer shovels.

This is the so-called Krieg method of warfare. They completely covered a corner of this war engine with a bunker, which was made of a large amount of scrap metal or garbage from the greenskin camp.

Cover yourself with a half-body pit.

At the same time, Space Wolves warriors began to install thermal bombs for the breakthrough.

Taylor walked to the top of the car and provided fire support with heavy explosives. Several brothers below moved the cover to the bunker, swinging shovels so hard that sparks were almost dug out.

The soil of this world is soft, and the Imperial Guards have honed their bunker-digging skills, so they can complete this small project in no time.

Taylor couldn't help but sigh as he watched the Space Marines cut open a corner of the giant fortress in the flashing light and then quickly drilled into it.

How come everything in this world can be turned into a boarding trip?

He called a few brothers to keep an eye on the gap to make sure no greenskins would come out to attack them.

At the same time, Flanstein was placed on the side of the defensive project with its front facing outward, ensuring that it could rush out at any time and anywhere.

A rough half-man trench was dug out very quickly, and shallow sandbag positions maintained the balance here.

Taylor hid inside the vehicle and fired at the enemy with heavy bombs in an almost timid posture.

Maybe because he does this so often, Taylor even feels that he can shoot more accurately now that he is half-hidden in the car.

Taylor blew up the tires of those miscellaneous green vehicles before they even got close, and they rushed to other places with a roar, but Taylor didn't feel any pleasure at all.

God knows when they will be overwhelmed by the greenskin tide!

There are too many greenskins, and it is difficult for them to break through. According to Taylor's experience, in addition to the Death Skull Orcs, there are also Blood Axe Orcs, and they belong to two clans.

Even if the Death's Skull leader dies, the orcs will begin to fight for the position because of the loss of their leader, or fall into fear and chaos because of the death of the leader.

Even if they lose more than half of their combat power, the remaining ones are enough to kill Taylor!

The only result was the bombing of this battle fortress. It seems that this time, Taylor and his men are destined to have their names written on the list of martyrs!

He let out a wail that was almost a roar. "Ahhh!" The explosive machine spirit in his hand roared, shattering the greenskins in waves.

Anger and fear mixed into a unique sound, which most soldiers called "Taylor's Roar", but people did not know that it was actually a scream.

But some of the greenskins started shouting when they heard the sound.

"It's that human! The one who killed the leader!"

"I know that voice, oh my god, we can't beat him! He's the Oak Slayer!"

It seems that the undeserved reputation is not only among humans, but also among the greenskins. Those restless greenskin guys began to retreat quickly because of Taylor's shouting, leaving only the 15th squad in a mess in the battle line.

"Ah?" Taylor looked at the inexplicably empty front line belatedly and said immediately.

"Reinforce the defenses! Damn it! Why do those greenskins treat me like a monster?"

He took a breath and looked at the timid greenskins in the distance. Without the encouragement of their leader, they probably didn't dare to move forward.

This bought Taylor valuable time, and apparently his luck struck again!

He is very lucky!

The girl from Lightling holding a sniper carbine said nearby.

"This is the legendary notoriety, Boss. You seem to have no idea how many outrageous things you've done."

Taylor counted on his fingers.

In other words, just killing one orc leader brought disaster to the entire orc's large-scale motor vehicle group and killed dozens of patrol teams.

Only a few thousand were killed, which is a drop in the bucket compared to the huge number of orcs!

Why are they so afraid of me? I've seen a ghost...

He couldn't understand it, so he attributed it to luck.

Little did people know that in the 16 years of war in the human camp, he was the one who achieved almost all the good results!

For the Orks, war engines are not cheap either! Although they are much cheaper than the Empire's armored vehicles.

Taylor looked at the greenskins who were timid and dared not approach with a bit of confusion. The personalities of those restless alien creatures with huge fangs were very weird.

They are both the most bloodthirsty warriors in the universe and the most cowardly creatures in the universe.

As soon as they realize that the enemy is immortal, fear will cover their heads, causing the most fearful and cunning part of their bodies to crawl out.

In other words, they believed that Taylor could not be defeated, even if all his companions attacked him.

Taylor looked at the heavy bomb emitting smoke in front of him, and for a moment he felt as if his blood was hitting cotton.

All his thoughts of fighting to the death or dying heroically have now vanished into thin air, leaving only the greenskins' frightened looks that even look a bit pitiful.

He seemed to have left a considerable degree of fear in the hearts of the greenskins in this world, making them as afraid as seeing the greenskin leader just by hearing his existence.

Wouldn't that make me just a green-skinned human?

Grass!
