I got down from the car and saying goodbye to my family, I closed the door and saw the school building,GOLD AND DIAMOND HIGH written boldly. It was eye catchy though and reeked of elegance but to me, the view of it made my stomach churn in a way I didn't like at all. I really can't wait to finish and be a model and actress. Yes that was my dream.
"Hi Brittany" One girl I didn't know greeted and I nodded. It seems she knew me. Of course she did. After all I was one of the most popular students in Gold and Diamond High.
She realized I didn't recognize her and felt hurt.
"I'm Angela,the girl behind you in class. " She said yet I couldn't remember her.
"Sorry,that doesn't ring a bell" I said and she frowned this time .
"You even borrowed my sanitary pad last semester. Don't you remember?"she asked in disbelief.
"No I don't"I answered and she was really vexed this time .
"Hmm,such an ungrateful bitch" she muttered yet I heard it and she walked away .
"Hey how dare you insult me just because I didn't remember your fucking pad. You motherfucking bitch" I yelled at her and people at the entrance looked at us and she felt uneasy. Yeah right,know who you are messing with.
I walked to her and looking at her with disdain,I shoved her aside with my shoulder and entered the school. At least it still felt good to know that you're superior than others. I raised my head high as I cat walked like the pre–model that I was.
Almost everyone starred at me as I walking down the hallway. Both green eyes and eyes with stars were on me and I wasn't bothered at all.
"Oh my goodness,look at that Chanel bag,it is the latest in the market. Cost thousands of dollars"I heard one girl say which made me smile.
"Isn't that the latest Chanel shoe also?I requested my mom to buy it for me but it was very limited and you had to pre–order it. Is she a Chanel ambassador now? If no then she is super rich" Another girl exclaimed to her friends as I walked past them . This was the life I enjoyed so much. It seems the reopening of school wasn't that bad after all.
I was heading towards class when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and squeaked.
"Lily!"
"Hey girl how have you been?" she asked as we hugged and gave each other a kiss in the air at the cheek side.
"I'm now feeling great now that I see you. I felt so lonely knowing Michael and you wouldn't come."I exclaimed.
"Yeah right,who said I wouldn't come on the first day of school" she asked and I looked at her with my 'really?'expression.
"Lily,if not today,you would have gone down in the Hall of Fame as the one who missed all first days of reopenings" I stated and she laughed.
"Thinking of that,I think I should go for that record."she muttered shamefully which made me shake my head.
"You seem to attract attention everywhere you go." she said and I raised my head with pride.
"I can't help it,I'm a queen after all"I said.
"Period.Your outfit is really given. Wow you are even wearing the latest Chanel shoe. "She exclaimed as she looked at my shoe with stars in her eyes and I smiled in satisfaction since she noticed.
Lily, my best friend went by the name,Lily Richards and was the third richest student in Gold and Diamond. Her father owned a million dollar jewelry factory,a shipping company and a successful game company. Her mother on the other had owned the third largest hotel in the city.
Also the second largest restaurant in the city.
Lily loved to eat a lot. She would travel to various countries over seas just to taste dishes she saw on the internet and thought it will taste great. She had a food page on Instagram with over six hundred thousand followers. Instagram paid her thousands of dollars anytime she made a post.
Lily was a badass girl. She always wore clothes that accentuated her hips and buttocks since she was fat. She also loved clothes that revealed her sensitive parts. Teachers complained of her behavior to the Principal but he couldn't do a thing since her parents were big donators of the school.This was how the school was. Once your parents were rich as fuck,you could do anything and no one would dare question you.

Lily likes to hang around a lot with boys . She changes her boys every week. Because of this,she is known as the whore of the school. It seems not to bother her though. She also has a great fashion sense but mine is greater. All in all,Lily is a great friend to be with even with these flaws that she has.
"Your skin is also looking fresh today."She complimented.
"Yeah thanks to the skin care routine I decided to undergo" I said and she nodded.
"Hmm I'm even thinking I should go for a tan. What do you think?" she asked me and I scrutinized her, imagining how she would look like if her skin was a little darker.
"Bitch you are already stunning no need for that" I said.
"You sure,okay since my fashionista has said it,I will obey" she joked and we laughed.
"So where is your boyfriend?" she asked and I got upset remembering that Michael wasn't here.
"He had to train for his debut very soon. "I answered and she did that 'oh' expression.
"It seems your boyfriend is soon going to be an idol.Be careful before he gets toxic fans that won't accept you. You know what that would mean right?"She asked and I smiled.
"You don't need to worry,his fans will love me since I will also be a model very soon.And in fact we are a perfect match"I assured and she smiled with satisfaction.
"Period bitch,period"she said which made us laugh again.
Michael is one of the promising stars of this city. He wants to become a musician and a dancer which is coming into reality since his dad owns a big entertainment company,KO Entertainment.He is the most talented student in the school and has won a lot of awards and trophies.
His fashion sense is like that of a rockstar. He mostly dyes his hair purple,his favorite color and has two piercings on both his ears each . He also has tattoos on his body but not that much. He leaves almost like a gangster.
The school authorities can't do anything about his behavior since he is loaded and fucking influential in the entertainment industry. Anything he says against the school would have a great impact on them. He has a million followers on Tiktok,Instagram and Facebook. He even does commercials for popular brands.
With all this ,he really loves me and so do I. He never gets angry at me no matter the weight of my error and spoils me rotten even though I'm richer than him.The difference is very small though. And a relationship isn't about money but love.
"Should we go to class?"Lily asked as she placed somethings in her locker.
"Relax,class doesn't start till tomorrow" I replied.
"Really,if I had known,I would have never missed the previous first days." She exclaimed in regret.
"Then let's go out to eat" she said as she turned towards the school entrance.
"Hmm you and food.Okay let's go buy some burgers"I suggested and she nodded as we headed outside the school.
We took her chauffeur and went to wherever we were supposed to go and eat. I personally didn't know anywhere since I always sent my chauffeur to do almost everything for me and today he wasn't here. He went to his hometown for vacation and would arrive tomorrow.
One may think I'm a spoiled brat and sometimes I am and sometimes I'm not. Life simply has a way of making people acclimatize to any situation they find themselves in.
