"Commander Aldous, please calm yourself. We, the Sky Armor Legion, will handle this case fairly," said the muscular middle-aged man.
He seemed polite to the black-haired middle-aged man, but it was clear he showed no fear toward him—perhaps only respect for his position.
"How will this case be handled fairly when my son is already dead?" Aldous asked. "Paul, unless you're trying to say that the case will end with my son being at fault?"
"What if that's truly the case?" Paul replied, his voice somewhat low, yet still loud enough to be heard clearly.
"Cough!"
Richard coughed involuntarily, not expecting him to say such a thing.
Whether Paul was defending him or it was simply his personal conclusion, Richard wasn't sure.
What was certain was that Aldous's expression grew grim upon hearing it.
