At 12:30 p.m. in Lily's, Tom, the restaurant manager, and a hundred people came down with him, including the ten divers, after clearing a pathway. Tom requested his staff to give Captain Chez and divers orders and use the most perishable food to serve all nine stores and museums because some people were hungry and thirsty, including the hundred people who helped clear the path. Twenty volunteers agreed to take the food trays to the other stores using the pathway. The manager told all his staff who would serve the food.
"Look for the mall's employees. When you find them, ask them to come here." Thirty minutes later, the restaurant's staff and volunteers returned with empty trays. The waitress with a pink scarf told Tom,
"I did not find anyone from the mall staff."
Tom texted all his friends who worked in the mall, telling them he did not see any of the security guards and other mall staff.
