"You deserve that!" James spoke coldly as he watched that person tremble from the violent backlash!
At that moment, the person in front of him took advantage of James's distraction. He moved both his feet and hands, and a cracking sound echoed in the sky.
Just before he appeared in front of James Beyond and threw a punch towards his face, James jerked his head back and said: "You fell into the trap!" A smile appeared on James's face as he gathered a strange energy in his hand.
"Annihilation!" James Beyond shouted those words as he directed his fist towards the tall person's stomach. An expression of shock appeared on that person's face in that instant, but he quickly regained his composure and swiftly directed his hands towards the energy in James's hands.
"Perish!" James shouted with an amused expression! His coat was whipping violently in the fierce wind in the sky.
At that moment, ripples appeared just an instant before the impact.
"Booooooom!" A tremendous explosion echoed through the air, pushing all the fog and smoke away from Monarako Street, but because of it, a massive black cloud formed at the explosion site!
Silence dominated the area for minutes, before a small drop of blood fell from the massive cloud onto one of the shop chimneys on the street!
"Sizzle!" The sound of the blood vaporizing upon contact with the chimney's smoke was heard, and there was also a circular black hat that had flown off due to the explosion and landed in front of a flower shop!
As the smoky cloud cleared slightly, three figures appeared from behind it, and as it cleared further, the scene became clearer and clearer!
One of them was James Beyond, who was looking at two people in front of him. One of them was the same person he had been fighting, but the other person was the one who had been standing coldly observing the battle!
It wasn't the person who had tried to reverse time and failed due to James Beyond's intervention and suffered severe damage because of it! It was the third person, and he was also the strongest and calmest among them.
"Dammit!" James spoke, coughing up blood from his mouth, and looked down at his abdomen.
There was a black scythe with a deadly purple aura that had pierced through his body and emerged from his back, with droplets of blood.
Blood seeped from James's body, staining his black suit crimson, but it soon became soaked with blood yet its color didn't change!
There was also blood splattered on James Beyond's glasses, which now had only one lens, after one of its lenses had broken earlier!
A drop of blood formed on the lens, which was reflecting the images of the figures in front of James Beyond. It reflected the image of one of the two persons who had lost his right hand and a large part of his right chest. His fragments were flying in the air, and entrails were dangling from that area, in a disgusting and brutal manner.
That wasn't his blood but the blood of the person James had been fighting earlier. That person had tried to stop the previous attack with his hands, but fortunately, due to his leader's actions, he only lost his right hand and part of his right chest area instead of being turned into mincemeat. Despite that, he didn't utter even the slightest sound of pain.
Even the leader didn't take that attack lightly, as he deflected, blocked, and redirected some of the attack's power to a random area using his ability!
Meanwhile, the person who had lost a part of his right body restored all parts of his body as if nothing had happened to him.
"Hahahahaha, you are definitely monsters!" James Beyond laughed hysterically while looking at the immortal person in front of him.
"Whooosh!" A very strong wind blew in the sky, causing shivers and making the scythe's blade feel cold within James Beyond's body.
"Arghhh." At that moment, James Beyond screamed in pain, and he was trying to gather the comprehensive energy in his body, but that scythe kept making it disappear every time he tried to gather it!.
"Haven't you realized yet?! That your attempts are nothing but scattered dust!" That person finally spoke when he saw James Beyond struggling.
"I have realized, but if I don't do something, I might die!" James Beyond spoke in a sarcastic tone before continuing: "Your scythe is a type of weapon that disperses the comprehensive energy from the body of a power-bearer! And this reminds me of a certain path, ah, I remember, it's the Path of the Dominator!"
That person didn't respond quickly; instead, he looked at James Beyond's body, which was losing a lot of blood with every movement, before saying: "I admire your desperation for life, but whatever, it doesn't matter since you will die here anyway, right!" The coldness disappeared and was replaced with amused laughter.
James didn't listen to that person's reply, but he tried to launch another spiritual attack. But this time, when he wanted to use it, his eye started dripping blood.
'Dammit!' James cursed inwardly at his miserable state.
"I must get rid of you so you won't stand in the way of our plans!" That person spoke before pulling the scythe out of James's body.
"Arghhh." James let out a miserable scream of pain.
What followed was a fountain of blood gushing out of James's body. It was one of the distinctive effects of the black scythe.
James Beyond couldn't endure any more blood loss, and the energy suppression effect was still active, so James Beyond soon collapsed.
That person looked with his cold black eyes at James Beyond's body falling downwards. He saw James Beyond smiling while pointing with the two fingers of his right hand towards the left side.
That person quickly turned towards the direction James Beyond was pointing, and he saw that another James Beyond was holding the trembling person on the shop's roof by his neck.
That person was writhing like a snake, and he grabbed the hand of James Beyond that was holding his neck, in a desperate attempt to remove it, but he couldn't even budge it slightly; it was solid like a massive rock.
"So, this person is from the Path of the Lord of Temporal Universes. He would have been a great asset to me in the future, but he is still at Tier 3, Layer 2, I suppose, and he also won't be able to break through to Tier 4 because he consumed something that made him break through too quickly! Well, anything that isn't suitable to be a tool for me, I'll dispose of. So, perish!" As he said that, a tremendous energy moved from his body before striking the person whose neck he was holding, and he instantly turned into ashes!
The other James threw the circular hat off his head and also those medical glasses, and he swept his short hair back.
After that, James Beyond released a tremendous pressure from his body, and then he looked at the two persons confronting him in the air, who were looking at him coldly.
James looked specifically at the person at the back, specifically the immortal one.
"Hmm, you must be a power bearer from the Path of the Reality Sensor, at Tier 3, Layer 3. What a pity, even you aren't suitable for use, so you must die." James's tone was very cold.
"How can he see through our concealment artifact?!" the immortal person spoke coldly.
"The secret lies in those eyes! His left eye is specialized in spiritual attacks, and the other can see things invisible to lower levels, and also see through artifacts of the fourth rank! So it must be of the fifth or sixth rank!"
"The sixth, that's impossible. Haven't these high-level artifacts disappeared since a very long time ago?" that person replied in a surprised voice.
"In my entire life, I've only seen two high-level artifacts. The first belongs to Lord Lorena at the fourth rank, and the other is the artifact used by the priest to communicate with the headquarters, and it was of the fifth rank."

It was James Beyond, who was floating above their heads with a bored expression. Soon, they both attacked, one with his hand and the other with slashing and brandishing the scythe.
James Beyond avoided the attacks from the immortal person, leaving his back exposed, so the scythe wielder took advantage of that and swung towards the opening.
But James Beyond suddenly disappeared and kicked with the heel of his foot towards that person's head, but that person blocked the kick with the scythe.
A clanging sound was heard from the impact of the heel against the scythe, but that wasn't all; that person fell with the scythe towards the ground at high speed.
"Booooom!" A violent crash sounded against the street floor, causing violent winds that threw everything on the street into utter chaos!
But James Beyond also felt a violent recoil in his right foot, causing him to fly high up into the sky.
The immortal person paid no regard to what happened to his leader; he only focused on James Beyond, who was flying high up in the sky as if he had been thrown by an invisible force. He disappeared and appeared behind James Beyond at high speed and delivered a curved kick downwards.
His foot slammed into James Beyond's back with force, sending him hurling towards the ground at high speed, but he didn't stop there. Soon, he appeared in front of James and punched upwards with force. That person wanted to finish off James after what he had done to his body, even though he was immortal, it wasn't complete immortality but partial, so he had limits.
James suddenly smiled in a sinister way, and before that person's fist reached him, he looked with his left eye towards the person who was rising from the rubble in the street, and said in a faint, cold voice: "Switch!" At that moment, he suddenly appeared in the street, and that person took his place.
Expressions of surprise appeared in the immortal person's eyes from what he saw. That person had switched places with his leader, so he tried to stop his attack but couldn't; he had put all his strength into this attack.
Despite all this, the leader remained with a cold expression on his face, so he directed that sudden, powerful attack, plunged the scythe into the void, and assumed a blocking posture with his arms.
"Baaaaaam!" The immortal person's hand slammed powerfully into his leader's arms, but suddenly a powerful wave of energy appeared around his hand and transferred towards his leader's arms.
That energy was about to reach the leader's body when it suddenly disappeared and appeared above the roof of one of the shops, with a tremendously huge explosive sound.
"I'm sure now, that is the leader, and he is also from the Path of the Eternal Watcher, but unlike the other two, he is at Tier 3, Layer 8, just one step away from breaking through to Tier 4. This is truly interesting!"
As he said that, he disappeared and appeared in front of the two persons, and before they could muster a defensive reaction, they were thrown to the ground. But this time, James didn't leave them upon impact with the ground and the recoil of their bodies. James appeared and stomped on both of them with his feet, pushing them towards the ground with greater force.
"Booooooom!" A terrifying sound echoed from the explosion, and a giant hole appeared in the middle of the street!
It was like a black abyss whose end couldn't be seen, but if you looked closely, you would see two powerful auras coming from within it, and soon the two persons suddenly appeared.
But their bodies weren't covered like before, because their previous outfits were torn, leaving only the lower part, revealing the shape of their slender and strained bodies... They looked fragile; they had long gray hair, contrary to how they seemed bald before, but they looked the opposite now!
"You are too tenacious!" Upon seeing that they hadn't died contrary to expectations, he muttered in a disappointed tone.
The persons turned towards James Beyond's location. It seemed their senses had become stronger after being thrown into the earth's depths. As soon as they saw him, the leader summoned the scythe, and at that moment, a terrifying pressure erupted from him.
"Full Release!" the leader shouted unusually as he held the scythe and tried to endure the violent weapon's absorption of his energy.
"Is this one of its traits? It seems I underestimated that scythe and forgot that it's from the Path of the Dominator!" James muttered while looking at the leader holding the scythe.
"I must finish this quickly!" James shouted as he moved swiftly towards the leader, but he saw a very fast shape moving towards him.
The immortal person suddenly appeared in front of him, and his speed was on another level compared to before. He gave James cold looks before delivering a strike with his knee, but James grabbed that knee yet was pushed back about thirty meters before stopping himself by force.
He looked at his hand and found it swollen, with blood seeping from his fingers, but that immortal person didn't let him contemplate his hand further, so he soon appeared in front of him and threw a punch towards James's jaw at lightning speed!.
"Baaang!" That punch sent James flying like a rocket into one of the houses before the sound of shattering and the shop collapsing echoed!
