The city was buzzing with life.The afternoon sun blazed overhead, casting a warm golden glow across towering glass skyscrapers, honking streets, and bustling crowds.
Pedestrians hurried along the sidewalks, vendors shouted out prices like carnival barkers, and traffic police blew their whistles at impatient drivers.
Cars crawled through intersections, engines rumbling and horns blaring in a chaotic symphony. From an open shop, a radio crackled with lively tunes.
Somewhere nearby, kids giggled as they chased a ball across the road,only to be yanked back by a mother's sharp voice.
Just another ordinary afternoon… right?
But just then.....
CRACK!
Suddenly, the sky split open like a shattered mirror. Jagged lines of shadow spiderwebbed across the heavens, stretching wider and deeper until it felt like light itself was being devoured.
Gasps echoed through the streets as heads tilted upward in horror.
In an instant, reality itself tore apart, revealing a swirling abyss that was blacker than night; an insatiable void gnawing at existence.
A woman dropped her shopping bags in shock. A taxi swerved onto the curb to avoid chaos,children clung tightly to their parents as the world seemed to tremble beneath them.
Then came the loud siren.
BWAAAAAAAAM! BWAAAAAAAAM!
The deafening alarm blared from every street speaker, followed by a clipped synthetic voice:
"Warning! An E-Rank Rift has appeared in District 12! All civilians evacuate to designated shelters immediately! Repeat: All civilians...RUN!"
Ahhhhhhhhh!.
Screams erupted into a cacophony of panic.
But before anyone can react anymore.
From the yawning black wound above, monstrous shapes plunged down,hulking and twisted forms with chitinous hides and too many limbs.
Their claws were sharp enough to slice steel; maws dripped with viscous black saliva.
Their screeches pierced eardrums as they crashed onto the streets with earth-shaking booming sounds that cracked pavement and overturned cars, sending terrified people flying.
"VOID BEASTS!" someone screamed in terror at the top of his lungs, eyes clearly reflected the grotesque creatures.
The creatures unleashed havoc instantly. One beast ripped a bus apart while passengers were still inside; another smashed its claws into an office building, showering glass and debris everywhere.
Cars collided violently, exploding into fiery wreckage as people fled in blind panic, tripping over one another amid their wails of fear.
The beasts howled ferociously as they tore into flesh and metal alike.
Suddenly....A blazing trail of fire streaked across the sky like a comet descending from heaven,a fierce scream cutting through the chaos below.
The horde turned toward this incoming light with shrieks of rage.
And then it hit the ground!.
BOOOOOOM!
The ground erupted in a cataclysmic explosion!
Flames roared outward in a violent blast, vaporizing everything within a thirty-meter radius.
A shockwave sent cars tumbling across the street, shattering windows and launching debris into the sky.
Dust clouded the air as civilians shielded their faces, their ears ringing from the deafening roar of destruction.
When the chaos and dust cleared...standing at the center of the huge scorched crater is a flamingo figure.
Her red-and-gold suit shimmered with molten heat, its edges flickering like flames.
A delicate mask of crimson steel curved over her features, revealing only those fiery crimson eyes,eyes that danced like living embers.
Long hair blazed behind her, each strand a living torch fluttering in the hot wind,she popped her gum between her teeth and grinned mischievously.
"Infernal Queen…" a traffic officer whispered, clutching his hat against the oppressive heat.
Her gaze swept over the battlefield, assessing the chaos around her.
She rolled her shoulders back, sparks dripping from her fingertips as flames surged around her, forming a spiraling vortex of fire.
And then she launched!
WHOOSH! BOOOM!
The street exploded beneath her feet as she rocketed forward, leaving nothing but scorched earth in her wake.
She slammed into the first beast with a blazing fist, detonating its torso into nothing but ash.
"C'mon, you ugly bastards! Let's dance!" she snarled defiantly.
With a swift spin, she unleashed twin torrents of fire from her palms....
FWOOOOSH! FWOOOOSH!
Flames sliced through the horde with deadly precision, incinerating three beasts at once. Their shrieks echoed as they melted into bubbling tar beneath the scorching onslaught. She vaulted into the air mid-spin and hurled firebombs like grenades...
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Each impact painted the battlefield in violent shades of orange and red as beasts disintegrated in waves of flame.
But more were coming...simply too many to count.
Just when it seemed hopeless and the horde surged toward fleeing civilians, an ominous metallic hum filled the air.
VRRRRRRMMMM!
Metal vibrated ominously; entire steel beams ripped free from nearby buildings with thunderous cracks.
Screams rose as walls tore apart,but instead of crashing down, they hovered menacingly above.
Then came a deafening BOOOOM!, as they welded together mid-air to form a massive metal wall that slammed down between the beasts and terrified civilians,a barrier blocking their advance.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Thousands of sharp steel spikes suddenly aligned overhead before raining down like deadly javelins.
SHNK! SHNK! SHNK!
They pierced through monstrous bodies cleanly; dark blood sprayed everywhere while agonized screeches echoed across what remained of the street,beasts pinned mercilessly to cracked pavement below them.
And then he stepped forward.
A broad-shouldered figure clad in a matte gray suit stood resolute, his buzz-cut hair contrasting sharply with the swirling metal that danced around him like obedient wolves.
His expression remained calm, yet his presence was imposing,like a tank sculpted into human form.
"Iron Titan!" a woman cried out, clutching her child as tears streamed down her cheeks.
With a single raised hand, the floating metal spears surged forward, piercing another cluster of monstrous beasts. Each thrust reverberated through the air like thunderous cannon blasts.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
The ground shook with every kill, sending tremors of fear and hope alike rippling through the battlefield.
Then, suddenly, everything changed,the battlefield erupted in light.
A golden glow descended from above, warm and blinding. Civilians gasped in astonishment as their wounds miraculously healed burns vanished. Hope blossomed in their eyes as they looked upward in awe.
"Look! Look,it's Radiant Saint!" a man sobbed joyfully, collapsing to his knees.
Atop a tower stood a woman bathed in brilliance,her hair flowed like waves of pure gold and white, shimmering like sunlight dancing on water.
Dressed in immaculate white adorned with intricate golden filigree, she held a long staff whose tip radiated holy light. Her smile was gentle and radiant,almost divine.
In an instant, she leapt into action..transforming into a stream of dazzling light.
Before anyone could blink, she joined Iron Titan and Infernal Queen at the front lines, their trio standing shoulder-to-shoulder against the oncoming tide of beasts that pounded toward them.
Infernal Queen cracked her gum nonchalantly. "Took you two long enough."
Iron Titan smirked faintly at her quip. "You seem to be enjoying yourself."
Radiant Saint's gaze softened as she extended her staff outward; golden light rippled from it like waves across the ocean. "Let's stay focused,the people need us now more than ever."
The three heroes shared a brief but meaningful nod before bracing themselves for what was to come.
And then… hell erupted!
