Chapter 120 - Chapter 121 – The Shattered Alliance

The galaxy trembled.

In the outer rim, aboard the crystal citadel of the Oraculum, Seer Azhira stood amidst the wreckage of her shattered throne. Shards of her divination crystals floated around her head like a crown of broken stars. Her blind eyes bled silver as she spoke to the gathered warlords, admirals, and rulers—beings who would never normally share a room, much less an alliance.

"It has awakened," she said, her voice raw but unyielding. "The Architect has breached the veil. If we do not act now, existence itself will unravel."

Admiral Veyric's hologram flickered to life over the war table, his uniform scorched and blood-stained. "The Aurora's Spear is compromised. Kaelen and the Infinity Seed are holding the line—for now. But we won't survive another hour."

The warlord of the Ashen Legion, Vorak the Iron-Born, slammed his massive gauntlet onto the table. "Then we strike now, before it fully manifests. My fleet is ready."

"You would die screaming in the first minute," sneered Selene Drae, High Strategist of the Helix Syndicate, her eyes like polished obsidian. "This is not a beast you can kill with brute force. We need precision. We need… her."

All eyes turned to Azhira.

She lifted a single shard of crystal and let it hum with power. "There is one hope," she said softly. "A weapon hidden in the Architect's own labyrinth—a Counter-Singularity. But to reach it…" She turned her head toward the map of wormhole networks still glowing in midair. "…someone must survive the Eye's gaze long enough to open the path."

Veyric's jaw tightened. "Kaelen."

"Yes," Azhira confirmed. "But if he falls, we must be ready to take the Seed from him—by force, if necessary."

A tense silence fell over the council. The factions who had once sought to claim the Infinity Seed for themselves now faced the unthinkable: to unite or perish.

Vorak growled. "Then we go to war."

Selene smirked faintly. "No, general. We go to the end of time itself."

Meanwhile, aboard the Aurora's Spear

The Avatar's claws pierced the deck. Kaelen barely dodged, his blade humming with impossible resonance. Lyra, half-conscious, reached for him.

"Kaelen…"

He turned—and froze. Behind her, the Eye widened. For a split second, he saw everything: worlds burning, stars imploding, and himself—standing alone in a void of infinite black.

"YOU CANNOT WIN," the Architect's voice whispered inside his skull. "BECAUSE YOU ARE ALREADY MINE."

Kaelen screamed and drove his blade forward again.
