"What the hell happened here?"
Looking at the shattered earth, the massive crater spanning kilometers, and the definitely-dead fragments of Commodores and Rear Admirals, Sakazuki's face turned black as night as he crashed down like a lava meteor.
"Cough... cough cough..."
In the ruins, one Marine Vice Admiral was still buried under rubble, weakly coughing up blood.
Sakazuki quickly moved the debris. To his shock, lying there was Kuzan—the first to land on the island!
That horrific blood loss and deathly pale face... showed just how brutal the beating he'd taken was!
Several thousand meters away, after landing his hit, Aus appeared beside Mihawk.
"Your power can instantly crush a Marine Vice Admiral now?"
Mihawk's hawk-like eyes had already spotted the severely wounded Kuzan. Something felt wrong.
He'd faced this technique before. Though stupidly powerful, for someone at Vice Admiral level, severe injury was possible.
But getting knocked unconscious with one punch? That was excessive.
Hearing the little hawk's question, Aus looked helpless:
"At the Admiral threshold, how could one-shot kills exist? I'm not Captain Roger...
Kuzan took full damage because the stubborn bastard refused to back down."
Aus had clearly felt that while Future Sight could see Kuzan's evasion path,
in that future, Garp's prized student had zero intention of dodging. Instead, he prepared to meet Aus's descending punch head-on.
Aus flexed his somewhat frozen, stiff hand, sighing:
"No crushing victory here. Just two men settling it with one decisive punch."
Aus didn't use his disgustingly broken unlimited teleportation. Kuzan didn't use elementalization or ice barriers.
Two long-feuding men chose the most direct, unguarded method to defeat each other.
Kuzan just overestimated his Haki-enhanced Devil Fruit punch and underestimated Aus's monstrous growth speed and Haki mastery. That's why one Conqueror's coating strike crushed him.
The reason they both chose this approach...
Simple.
Whoever dodged first was the inferior pirate (Marine)!
In unlimited combat, little Ohara wasn't big enough for both of them. Without three days and nights, no winner would emerge.
Not long after,
Sakazuki arrived as a walking volcano.
Aus thought this fight was plenty, but a debut announcing his arrival in the new era couldn't end halfway.
"Sakazuki, looking for me?"
Just as Sakazuki couldn't locate Aus and prepared to carry the wounded Kuzan back for treatment,
the next instant,
a voice he'd been obsessing over rang in his ears. Almost reflexively, he immediately tossed the injured Kuzan aside, molten lava churning in his hands:
"Great Eruption!"
A massive magma fist erupted like a volcano toward the voice's source. Unfortunately, it hit nothing.
Scalding lava crashed into the sea. The broken ice floes melted completely, even boiling in spots!
"So enthusiastic?"
BOOM!
Another lava fist struck toward his side. Another whiff.
"Don't get too fucking cocky! Doctor Aus!
Marine justice isn't something you can toy with!"
The coldest soldiers often heated up fastest. Combined with scalding lava erupting from his body,
he was like someone who'd eaten the Rage-Rage Fruit.
"Justice? Is slaughtering civilians also justice? Before I arrived, there was an evacuation ship...
Looks like you destroyed it, Sakazuki."
Hearing this, Sakazuki's naturally stern face instantly twisted with furious rage:
"Shut your mouth! What right does a mere pirate have to criticize Marine justice!"
If scholars had mixed in with that ship, it would only expand this Buster Call's scope!
As a soldier, orders came first. Sakazuki had his own reasoning and was too lazy to explain more to Aus.
The bastard didn't deserve to hear it.
Seeing Sakazuki refuse communication and enter rabid dog mode, Aus lost interest in messing with him like he had Kuzan. He instantly teleported several hundred meters away.
The long black rifle wrapped in bandages at his waist appeared in his hands.
"This gun's prestige can't quite keep up anymore, but it's still barely usable. Using swords and fists has become such a habit,
this world probably forgot that while my physical combat and swordsmanship are world-class, I'm actually...
a sniper."
Gripping the sniper rifle Uncle Bitam had given him, Aus's eyes blazed crimson.
Seastone bullets from his pocket instantly loaded into the gun, wrapped in flowing Armament Haki and black-red lightning.
Just as Aus took aim, dangerous instinct struck, making Sakazuki's scalp crawl as he prepared to unleash a lava volcano!
He stared at Aus raising his gun to aim, feeling absurd.
Using guns against him?
Was he looking down on him?!
Sakazuki had too few dealings with Aus. If nearby Kuzan were still conscious, he'd immediately realize how terrifying this scene was.
Aus with swords and fists was certainly formidable.
But Aus with a gun was truly fucking terrifying!
"Left shoulder."
Aus whispered softly, red light flashing in his eyes.
The Seastone bullet wrapped in Ryuo and Conqueror's Haki instantly became a red meteor streaking out at insane speed!
"What the hell?!"
Sakazuki broke into cold sweat. Sensing this Haki, he quickly recognized the bullet's lethality.
Raising his hand, he fired a Hell Hound, trying to intercept it.
"Hiss—"
An incomprehensible scene unfolded. Flesh exploded instantly on Sakazuki's left shoulder.
The internal wound couldn't heal quickly under Haki's influence.
"What kind of joke... the bullet just disappeared for a second?"
Sakazuki's face contorted in pain. He decisively used rolling magma to cauterize and stop the bleeding.
"Still don't get it, Sakazuki?"
Aus's cold voice switched positions again, appearing in distant mid-air. His eyes blazed with future-seeing red light, like a god hunting mortals:
"This is... the weight of the world's strongest sniper."
"Hmm... which body part next?" Aus pondered, his gaze slowly drifting downward.
"How about..."
"Please wait!"
