Perhaps that supreme existence had come to this Star Sea universe in order to seal away the mysterious being within the Dark Abyss, unwilling to let anyone from the greater universe she came from learn of it.
That was why she had left behind the Pantheon—to erase every trace of her visit and prevent anyone from prying into the matter.
Of course, this was only a conjecture.
There were still too many things that did not add up, as though several pieces were missing from a puzzle.
For example, why had she built the Twelvefold Aetherian Sanctuary?
And why had it just so happened to fall into his hands, as though fate itself were playing a cruel joke?
Within the Twelvefold Aetherian Sanctuary, there was also a world-shaking secret unknown to anyone else, like a sealed treasure chest. It seemed no less extraordinary than the being hidden within the Dark Abyss.
