"Akame, these people are not our targets," Leone said, walking forward toward Tatsumi.
"How can you be this unlucky? If I hadn't come, you'd already be dead," Leone said with a sigh, rubbing her forehead.
"B-Big breasts. You! You are part of Night Raid!" Tatsumi gritted his teeth, veins popping on his forehead.
"Hey, Leone. This guy has a Teigu, he might be an Imperial Guard," Akame suddenly said, not relenting and still trying to attack me.
"Oi, wait Akame. Let's ask him first!" Leone berated Akame, and she instantly folded like a puppy, lowering her sword. Leone, still in her beast form, walked toward me, her voluptuous tits jiggling with every step she took. Stopping in front of me, I realized how tall she really was. She was almost my height.
"Where did you get that weapon?" Leone asked, pointing at my gauntlet.
"This… I got it from the bandits that attacked us while coming to the city. After I killed him, the gauntlet attached itself to me," I revealed with a smile as innocent as possible. "You," she pointed at Tatsumi. "You wanted to know why we attacked this estate, right?" Akame asked, then suddenly shoved Aria toward Leone, who also grabbed her by the hair. Akame then walked toward the storehouse.
The storehouse was partially destroyed by my earlier attack, but it hadn't fully revealed what was hidden inside. Akame kicked the door down, and a foul stench suddenly enveloped the area as everyone's eyes widened in shock.
There were mutilated bodies hung on butcher's hooks, bloodied corpses hanging upside down, maggots dropping from rotten flesh, and some were still alive, stuffed inside dog cages with missing body parts.
It was a truly horrific scene, far gorier than what was portrayed in the series, which only focused on Sayo and Ieyasu.
I glanced at Tatsumi. His face had gone dark, his body trembling, visibly shaken by what he had just witnessed.
"A sadistic family that derives joy from torturing their victims and doing all kinds of horrible things to them. Their targets are usually people from outside the Empire," Akame said.
"AND SO WHAT?! YOU'RE ALL WORTHLESS HICKS FROM THE VILLAGE AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS PETS! YOU'RE NO DIFFERENT FROM CATTLE! HOW IS IT A CRIME TO PLAY WITH MY PETS?! I'M FREE TO DO WHATEVER I WANT WITH THESE LOW-LIVES!" Aria bellowed, crashing out with a crazed, deranged expression. I was disgusted, it was far worse than depicted in the series.
"What a crazy bitch," Akame muttered and brandished her sword, moving to execute Aria when suddenly Tatsumi dashed past her, slashing Aria's neck and decapitating her in one motion.
Her head fell first, blood gushing from her headless body before it collapsed near her severed head, still wearing that crazed expression.
I turned my head away, unable to watch anymore. I felt a bit conflicted, after all, I had slept with Aria and grown slightly attached but seeing her twisted mentality, I knew she was beyond saving. Keeping someone like that out of selfishness would be keeping a ticking time bomb.
Sighing, I looked back and saw Tatsumi still standing there, his face dark, blood dripping from his sword.
"He killed her without hesitation," Leone muttered.
Tatsumi dropped the sword and walked toward me, stopping in front of me before bowing deeply.
"Okun-sama, I am sorry~" he said quietly, shocking me with his sudden action.
"There's no need to apologize. I already knew she was crazy, I just didn't know it was this bad. She even tried to stab me yesterday, but I managed to turn things around," I said, patting his shoulder, telling a half-lie.
"Okun-sama… even in that situation, you could do that…" Tatsumi muttered. I tapped him lightly, stopping him from saying more, but I could see the acknowledgment in his eyes.
"Let's go," Akame suddenly said, grabbing Leone's hand.
"Wait, Akame. We're taking these two with us. They're too dangerous to be left alone, especially the one with the Teigu," Leone said, giving me a strange look.
"Aiit," Akame replied and immediately started dragging me along.
"Wait, Akame! Take this one, let me take that one~" Leone said with a sheepish smile, releasing me from Akame's grip and dragging me herself.
Akame looked confused by Leone's sudden action, but she dragged Tatsumi along. He struggled stubbornly, but Akame was simply stronger. I didn't resist and let Leone take me. She glanced at me occasionally, and I winked back, making her mutter something under her breath.
Soon, we arrived where the other members of Night Raid were, all standing on the strings Bullock had set mid-air.
"Hey guys! What took you so long, and who are those two?" Mine exclaimed in her cute voice, waving childishly.
"These are our new members, Okun and Tatsumi," Leone said, introducing us.
"What?! I don't want to be part of you guys! Let me go!" Tatsumi struggled, but Akame lifted him up by his underwear.
"Stubborn."
"Hey you. You don't seem fazed like your friend. Why is that?" Leone asked, studying my face closely.
"Well, as long as I get paid, eat good food, and drink booze, it doesn't really matter," I said nonchalantly, instantly making Leone's face turn bright red.
"Ehhh!? Guys, this guy is just like me and you keep insulting me, hehe. Don't you see? We fit perfectly together, eh?" Leone said with a sheepish smile, moving closer. Suddenly, I pulled her in and kissed her lips, shocking everyone, including Leone but she didn't resist and soon kissed me back.
"We now have two perverts!" Mine said in an annoyed voice.
