As I mentioned last time, there's no big showdown at the Summit War or any head-on combat.
While he does secretly groom Robin and Mikita, marrying them, and having relationships with the Seven Warlords, he doesn't openly commit crimes because it would draw attention.
If you're looking for that kind of story, please look elsewhere.
To add a little context, just like in the original, Hancock makes meeting Ace a condition, and Luffy and Mikita tamper with the tags (naked) and board the ship to Impel Down.
Upon arrival, Luffy leaves Mikita and heads to Level 6, wreaking havoc by attaching tags to wild animals and facilities.
You might be wondering, "Do Momonga and the other characters not notice?" Even in the original, they don't notice Luffy following Hancock, even when she body-checks him.
They wouldn't expect someone to be following them completely naked, so they probably wouldn't use their observation Haki to spy on them.
They then meet up with Mikita, minimize their own weight, and then float at kilo-kilo speeds to escape.
You might think, "With Luffy there, why do we need Mikita?" But they probably aren't used to levitation, so they bring Mikita along for safety's sake. (Actually, I had this idea in mind when Luffy boarded the Women's Lily two episodes ago, but I forgot to mention it.) Someone
commented, "I wonder what Tashigi will think," but for Tashigi, love > justice is now her priority, so she won't be able to stop Luffy even if he tries to commit a crime. Also,
maybe she'll waver on her sense of justice after hearing about Robin's background?
Ace will board the ship temporarily and be handed over to Whitebeard at the rendezvous point.
If he goes first, he'll be the one to play the supporting role. He's also planning to do it with Luffy's wife... Will he do it? Will he be defeated? Well, they will.
Incidentally, Buggy, Crocodile, and the others haven't managed to escape.
That was achieved when Luffy reunited with the prisoners in Newcomer Land...
and Blackbeard probably invaded Impel Down and got captured, too.
In the original, he was poisoned by Magellan, but was only spared because Shiryu, who was released due to Luffy's riots, Buggy's escape, and the others' lack of resources, betrayed him and brought an antidote. He was poisoned and in a critical condition just before that, so I think he'll stay that way.
Well, that's not likely to be relevant going forward, so I'll explain it again when it does.
And, as a bonus, Shuraiya's current situation.
To be honest, I had two ideas for what happened to Shuraiya.
One is that he enters Impel Down to get revenge on Gasparde, or he fails to do so and becomes rebellious, gets captured, and is imprisoned.
As a result, he either undergoes a sex change in Newcomer Land or becomes a Newcomer.
In this version, he's unaware of Adele's survival, and yet he's still walking toward a new future in Newcomer Land (almost in desperation).
Another scenario involves Shureiya, who washes up on Elegia, seeing the grown-up Adele and wondering if she's a match, but then realizing she couldn't possibly be alive and that she's just a stranger. He then
chooses Adele, who has become a prostitute, and falls into an abnormal state of raping a girl who resembles his sister—an incestuous route.
However, since there are prostitutes from the Kuja and Adele didn't seem likely to become a prostitute, I scrapped it.
Next time, the adventure team will board the Sunny and head to their rendezvous with Whitebeard—but I have a little announcement to make.
