To be honest, I actually considered including this plot development in Episode 2, but when I was deciding on the female character Luffy would seduce, I remembered the story from "Episode of the Merry." Brook doesn't know about the Merry and hears the story from the Mini Merry 2. I thought, "I'd like to do something like this," and so I decided to have Makino tell the story to Nami and the other three. To be
honest, I regret that I wanted to focus on Makino making a move on a little boy from the beginning, so Luffy's scheming became the main focus and it didn't stand out. Incidentally,
as in the beginning, Luffy uses his ability alone to prepare the Merry for departure.
If he activates his ability on the entire ship, it will be repelled by the seawater, but it can be activated by targeting a specific area.
Also, a small amount of seawater isn't a problem.
The reason is that the amount of seawater needed to cancel the effect on the target is important, like "the amount of salt balls wasn't enough against Oars, which had Luffy's shadow inside it."
Also, Kaya has become a bit more aggressive than I expected...
