Austronesia Empire, Imperial Majapahit, Makassar, In the Ocean near Makassar.
2000, 3, 1st Week, January
In the oceans near the city of Makassar, chaos reigned as the People's Liberation Navy fought tooth and nail against the relentless onslaught of countless sea monsters surging across the vast expanse of the ocean.
It is the third day that the Austronesian Empire had been transported to this new world, but were still being attacked by both sides from sea monsters to demons across the entire nation.
After the catastrophic earthquake unleashed by the demon lord, the situation got a hundred times worse. The containment of the demons had been lost and the number of sea monster attacks skyrocketed than ever before as the Austronesian Empire as a whole had now faced a different degree of destruction.
It was hell on earth as dozens of cities were under siege and thousands of human lives were lost every minute.
Just within an hour, half of Mindanao were burned down by the demonic tide and the addition of the human death count reached 10 million.
It is the darkest moment humanity has ever seen in their life.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Countless cannons of fifty naval ships roared through the oceans. Crewmembers moved around and loaded the shells that streaked across the sky, unleashing hellfire upon the horde.
"There is no end to this!" shouted a crewmember on one of the battleships as he peered through the binoculars in his hand.
"Just hold them off for some time! Air support is on their way!" replied another crewmember, his voice barely audible over the cacophony of cannonfire and screams.
On the bridge, a crew member gritted his teeth as he noticed the advancing sea monsters were closing their distance, "Captain, how much longer can we keep this up?"
The captain glanced at the sea of beast looming ominously on the horizon. "As long as it takes! We can't let these things overrun the city!"
But their efforts seemed futile as wave after wave of sea monsters surged forth. All of the crews in each ship fought bravely, but the casualties mounted, and hope began to wane.
As the moon gradually reached the center of the sky that signaled the time had reached midnight, the moment of truth arrived. Another massive wave of sea monsters surfaced from the ocean with their numbers seemingly endless.
Fifty battleships, destroyers, and cruisers formed a defensive barrier and unleashed a storm of cannon fire upon them, killing dozens in an instant.
But no matter how many sea monsters they kill, more are coming and it seems like it doesn't end.
And moments later, a trio of F-12 Phoenix fighter jets streaked overhead and headed towards the sea monster swarm.
"This is Viper 1 to Overload, are we clear to engage?" Viper 1 asked.
[Overload to Viper 1, weapons free!] The captain shouted over the radio.
The F-12s then each launched two missiles upon the masses. The missile struck them, annihilating hundreds upon hundreds of sea monsters in an instant and formed a massive splash of water that engulfed the whole area.
"Hunter 7-5 to Overload, targets destroyed."
[Copy that. Are there others approaching?]
"I-... what the?" One of the F-12 pilots suddenly noticed something within the cloud, something blue.
"What is thi-" The pilot's words were cut short as an enormous claw emerged from the cloud.
"Oh shi-"
BOOM!
Before the pilot could maneuver, the jet crashed into the claw and exploded.
"What the hell!?" exclaimed a crew member on one of the navy ships as he and the others watched their air support being shot down one by one within the mist.
As the last jet was taken down by what appeared to be a giant tentacle, thousands more sea monsters emerged from the cloud, ranging from twenty to sixty meters in height.
And what they saw next caused them to nearly shit themselves.
Behind this new wave were two enormous creatures, each dwarfing both ships and sea monsters, standing over a hundred meters tall.

The captain's voice crackled over the radio as he shouted, "Command, we required more assistance! These things are too much for us!"
The Liberation Navy responded by immediately shooting them down, their weapons spewing with lead and explosives in a relentless onslaught. While the smaller sea monsters could be dispatched easily, these colossal monstrosities that towered over the battlefield proved to resist heavy gunfire.
"SHRIIIEEEEK!!" one of the giant sea monsters, a giant octopus, shrieked as it raised its 300 meter tall tentacle and slammed into one of the ships, tearing it in two and sending it sinking into the depths.
"Goddamn it! Yesterday, I'm only asking for a bigger blue crab and octopus to eat... BUT I'M NOT ASKING FOR THIS BIG!"
"Where are the reinforcements!? Why haven't they arrived yet!?" demanded a crew member. He staggered, nearly thrown off balance by the shockwave of an explosion as one of the sea monsters unleashed a devastating beam of yellow energy, obliterating one of the battleship's cannons and claiming the lives of a dozen crew members around it.
Another crew member, who appeared to be a navy officer, hesitated, his resolve faltering momentarily. But understanding the futility of concealment, he delivered the grim news that might break the morale of his crew.
"They won't come."
A collective chill swept through the ranks as his words hung heavy in the air. Anti-aircraft weapons lowered, eyes oscillated between their leader and the encroaching horde, a palpable sense of despair descending upon them like a suffocating shroud.
"T-Then are we..." One of the crew members trembled, tears mingling with dirt-streaked cheeks as a look of sorrow and depression loomed over his face.
"Going to die here?" he whispered, gazing up at the two colossal monsters looking down at him like towering behemoths, their ominous presence casting a shadow over all hope.

Austronesia Empire, Imperial Maharlika, Mindanao, North Cotabato, Kidapawan City, In the Streets of Kidapawan City.
2000, 3, 1st Week, January
Kidapawan city was a ghost town. The illuminating full moon was blocked by a dreary, thick layer of gray cloud formations which hovered over the city. Throughout the city, the loudspeaker continued to resonate across the desolate streets.
[Citizens! Evacuate to the underground bunker in the center of the city! Those who are unable to make it, stay indoors at all costs!]
But alas, there are some people who aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer, and as it happens, one of those people was pilfering through the empty stores. He had a gruff beard, a ragged red-colored sweater, and a green hat, with a crowbar in his hand that was breaking through every window that had something shiny on the other side.
"Where are those fucktards at! I need to buy those good stuff again!" The crook broke the window and began the process of stealing everything in the store. "And demons? What bullshit I'm hearing? Fucking religious retards, yapping about some children story and the beardo on the clouds," The criminal sneered before giving a crooked smile when he saw all of the loot in his sack. "Whatever these idiots were doing while I was having some good shit in my basement, this is worth it! Haha!"
But then, out of nowhere, a gust of wind came throttling in through the street, throwing the crook off balance. Just as quickly as it came, it vanished, leaving the crook perplexed about what that could have been.
"What the hell... Was that the wind?"
While the man was left in confusion, he was completely unaware of the swarm of locust that came creeping up behind him. It was only when he felt their tiny and multitudinous bodies creeping up through his legs did he realize his truly idiotic mistake of staying on the street.
"What the he-... AHH! AHHHHHHHHH!"
Screams sounded through the empty city, and the robber tried desperately to swat the locust away, but it did nothing. The locust began to devour him with a crunching force of a piranha with their tiny mouths tearing his flesh. In just five seconds, the man was reduced to nothing but a pile of bones and shredded flesh.
Once the man died brutally, the demonic locust swarm flew up into the sky and huddled around their master, their queen.
"It seemed you all were not too pleased. Go, my children. Devour everything and leave nothing, for I, Lord Famine, command it!"
The giant cloud of bugs followed their queen and dispersed in every direction. With a sinister chuckle, Famine looked down at the fields that were once lush with crops, now barren and lifeless.
Behind her, multiple cities lay in ruin, filled with nothing but little remains of civilians and soldiers, their numbers once in the tens of thousands.
What was once an abundant and prosperous city, had been ravaged by the demonic tide, leaving it in ruins with tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of lives lost.
