Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Drive to Advance

Just as Tang En predicted, King Pilaf fell for the trap.

The moment Pilaf saw Oolong disguised as Ash, Tang En—hiding behind—knocked him out cold.

Lifting Pilaf's collar, Tang En found a Dragon Ball tucked inside.

A smile spread across his face. With all seven Dragon Balls collected, he was undoubtedly the happiest—after all, he would be the one making the wish.

"Yay! We've finally gathered all seven Dragon Balls!"

Bulma took out her five Dragon Balls.

Sun Wukong untied his pouch and produced his four-star ball.

As the seven Dragon Balls came together, they resonated brilliantly, each emitting dazzling flashes of light.

"Mm!"

Tang En nodded firmly.

Then, he quickly pulled out a slip of paper from his pocket...

Truth be told, he had decided on his wish the moment he crossed into this world.

His only worry was whether the Eternal Dragon was powerful enough to fulfill it.

To avoid complications, Tang En decided to make his wish right away!

After double-checking that Pilaf and his gang were still unconscious in the distance, Tang En arranged the seven Dragon Balls—six surrounding the seventh.

Hmmmm—

The Dragon Balls pulsed with an almost continuous glow.

This resonance only occurred when all seven were gathered!

"Come forth, Eternal Dragon!"

CRACK!

A bolt of lightning split the clear sky.

Almost instantly, massive storm clouds rolled in, blanketing the area above Tang En and the others.

Then, the dark clouds spread rapidly in all directions, centered right above them.Moments later, the sky turned completely black.

At this moment, the Dragon Ball shone even more brilliantly, crackling with golden lightning that coiled around its surface.

Soon, the Dragon Ball condensed into a surge of energy that shot straight into the sky, transforming into the shape of a dragon!

Rooooar—!

A dragon's roar echoed as the Eternal Dragon grew larger and larger, its form gradually solidifying into a green, physical body.

"Ahhh—! T-this… is the Eternal Dragon?! It looks so terrifying…"

Oolong trembled as he spoke.

There was no denying it—the sight of the Eternal Dragon manifesting was truly awe-inspiring.

Coupled with its massive size and divine aura, it was no surprise that ordinary people would feel fear in its presence.

"Was it you who summoned me?

Speak your wish. Any wish—I can grant it for you!"

The Eternal Dragon's voice was calm yet imposing.

Ahem, ahem.

Tang En cleared his throat to ensure his words would be clear, then loudly declared to the Eternal Dragon:

"Eternal Dragon! Please remove the limiters on Earthlings in martial arts!"

"By limiters, I mean…"

He went on and on with a lengthy explanation.

The air fell silent for a moment.

"I'm sorry. That wish is beyond my power," the Eternal Dragon replied.

"Figures," Tang En muttered, clenching his fists in frustration.

"What? There are wishes the Eternal Dragon can't grant?" Bulma and Oolong asked, displeased.

This was Tang En's first wish, and truthfully, he hadn't held much hope for it from the start.

If such a wish could be granted, wouldn't that mean he could truly grow infinitely stronger? That would be even more terrifying than Saitama!

After all, this was the world of Dragon Ball.

"Do you have no other wish?"

The Eternal Dragon shamelessly pressed.

"Then, Eternal Dragon, please transform my body into that of a Saiyan!"

If breaking the limiters wasn't possible, then switching to a Saiyan body wasn't a bad alternative. It was close enough, and it came with extra prestige.

...

"That wish is beyond my power…

I cannot fuse a person's soul with the body of another race while preserving the original properties of that body. That exceeds the natural order of life."

"Moreover, the power of an adult Saiyan far surpasses my own…" the Eternal Dragon continued.

"So you're saying, even if I asked to become a Majin, a Frost Demon, or even an infinite-type Android or a Namekian, it still wouldn't work?"

Tang En refused to give up.

He didn't hesitate to rattle off the names of various alien races in front of his companions.

After all, a living person shouldn't be held back by trivial concerns—he couldn't let future explanations stop him from trying.

"No…"

...

"Could this Eternal Dragon be fake?"

That was Bulma's thought as well.

In her understanding, if it couldn't grant wishes, then it wasn't the Eternal Dragon Tang En had described to her.

Seeing Tang En fail with multiple wishes, she began to doubt whether the legends of the Eternal Dragon were even true. Even Oolong, standing beside her, stopped being afraid.

Tang En clutched his head, weakly scanning the list in his hands.

"Then… grant me all of Angel Whis's knowle—"

He couldn't even finish the request out of embarrassment. He was just struggling at this point—this was far too much to ask of a dragon.

Sure enough, the moment the Eternal Dragon heard "Angel," it nearly cried out in alarm! He couldn't understand how this tiny human knew the name of the Angel, and he grew nervous, sweat even beginning to bead on his forehead.

"Do you have no other wishes..."

"I do, but can you fulfill them...?"

...

The Eternal Dragon felt insulted.

"Fine, I have one more wish. Grant me all knowledge of Martial arts in the universe, excluding that of the higher deities, without any side effects. This... should be simpler than the last one, right?"

Since the root of the problem couldn't be solved, he could only rely on his own efforts. With vast knowledge, perhaps achieving a racial breakthrough would be easy, no?

"Apologies... The transcendent beings in the universe..."

"Just say you can't do it."

Tang En cut off the Eternal Dragon's words!

Hmph! After all the effort I put into thinking up this cheat, you can't even fulfill it?

Tang En then recalled the power of the Super Dragon in the Goku Black arc. Comparing them was just depressing!

Zamasu merely asked for Goku's body, and the dragon arranged it perfectly, even nearly maximizing the body's potential.

"If we limit the scope to Earth, I can grant this wish. I can impart all Martial arts knowledge since humanity's birth to you. That's my limit."

Tang En thought for a moment, feeling somewhat shortchanged...

"Then throw in Earth's scientific knowledge from the last 100 years."

The Eternal Dragon: "..."

"Your wish is granted. Farewell..."

The dragon transformed into a white light, splitting into seven parts, and departed under everyone's gaze.

But it looked more like it was fleeing.

Soon, a beam of white light entered Tang En's head.

Tang En froze, feeling his mind go blank as a sharp pain gradually emerged, though it was quickly suppressed by something.

Within three or four breaths, the sensation ceased.

Tang En began examining the newfound knowledge—pure and comprehensive, encompassing all aspects of Martial arts.

With just a glance, he discovered techniques like the Kamehameha, Evil Containment Wave, Levitation Technique, and Ki Blast Cannon.

Then, even more profound knowledge surfaced in his mind—methods of Energy cultivation, passed down from the Divine Palace.

It recorded the insights of every Guardian of Earth, from the first to the current benevolent Piccolo.

"I've struck gold!"

Tang En was certain that upon returning, he would undergo a transformative evolution!

Never before had he attained such profound understanding of Martial arts.

Now, he was like a sage suddenly awakened, brimming with ideas to ponder and test.

Tang En wanted to return—urgently. He couldn't wait to get back to West City and validate his path.

A tantalizing road unfurled before him; becoming a master seemed within effortless reach.

"Huh? Android technology is already this advanced?"

The main reason Tang En had tacked on the last century's scientific knowledge was his curiosity about Android tech.

He couldn't believe that through modifications, a person or even machine parts could rival beings like the Super Saiyans.Seeing the Android research in his mind, it became clear that Dr. Gero had already conceived the four types of Androids that would appear in future events.

The first type was purely mechanical, which was currently the configuration used by the Red Ribbon Army.

This technology was already mature, and Dr. Gero didn't pay much attention to it. It was merely the prelude to the Android series, represented by Android 8 and the mechanical Mercenary Tao.

The second type was the absorption-type Android, equipped with a device capable of extracting human energy—specifically, "Ki." However, this had hit a bottleneck.

There were two reasons: one was material limitations, and the other was Dr. Gero's insufficient—or outright incorrect—understanding of Ki.

It was likely that the micro-robots monitoring Sun Wukong and others later inspired Dr. Gero, leading to the development of absorption-type Androids.

The third type was the most famous—the infinite energy model, exemplified by Androids 16 through 18.

At this stage, it was merely a concept. Both the materials and the conflict between the internal core furnace and the R-type program were still under research.

This could eventually lead to clashes between commands and energy, and research in this area was still severely lacking.

The final type was Dr. Gero's ultimate vision—the Ultimate Android!

A new lifeform combining the strengths of all Martial Artists, possessing superhuman talent and skills, equipped with energy absorption for rapid self-improvement, and capable of advanced evolution—a true super Android.

One had to admit, Dr. Gero was a genius!

Though still in the theoretical stage, it was already incredibly impressive!

Tang En couldn't help but marvel.

At the same time, Tang En also saw data related to Capsule Corp., the Dragon Ball radar, and the Power Level Detector Bulma had just invented.

And he had to admit—half of the technological achievements in the past century came from Briefs' Capsule Corp. No wonder they were the world's richest family...

Now, he was invincible...
