Dang this school is big" I thought as I walked on the school premises lost, it was my first day of college and I was trying to find my way to the school hall for orientation day. I sat on a bench in the school garden to tie my shoe lace then a girl walked up to me, she had mismatched eyes,blue and red,brunette hair with streaks of blonde, she looked tomboyish, then she smirked and said "u lost?" I almost choked on my words "Y-yes" "new kid right?" she asked "come on I'll take you to the Hall". When we got there we sat at the back quietly after orientation, she showed me my dorm room then she turned to me and said nervously "um you might want to be careful with your roommate, Good luck" she walked away before I could even ask her what she meant. I settled in and by night time I was about to go to sleep then someone stormed inside, I nearly had a heart attack when he switched on the light he looked at me in shock "what the hell are you doing in my room!!? " "I- um- well u see I was assigned this room... " I said closing my eyes "oh, I never thought I'd get a roommate soon " I opened my eyes and saw he had already plopped down on his bed "what's your name?" "Leo" I answered "the names Ryan" he said sitting up to look at me "nice to meet u" I smiled "you know... Your kind of cute" he said with a smirk , I could feel my whole face go red "w-what!?" he chuckled "u should see your face right now" I stared in shock "Huh?" "What I just said u look cute " he said smiling "umm...." I said blankly "how do u feel comfortable calling someone you just met cute,and a guy for that matter? " I looked away embarrassed "it's the truth, that's why I feel comfortable, so it's no biggie" he shrugged "umm thanks I guess" I covered my face with the bed sheet "I got early class tomorrow, goodnight" I mumbled "goodnight" he said before turning of the light
The next day I overslept. "Hey, Leo.. Leo wake up your going to be late for class" "Mhmm, let me sleep some more" I said turning in my sleep " okay if u say so " I heard him going into the bathroom and when he came out I didn't know what he was doing but then he dumped a bowl of water on me, I sat bolt upright from the cold water "heyyyy!!!" I scowled at him "sorry u just wouldn't wake up if i didn't do that" he shrugged" I check my alarm clock and saw it didn't go off "oh no,no,no I'll be late for class" I got up from my bed and rushed into the shower and got ready. I was on my way to class I couldn't find my class "great I'm going to be late" then I spotted Ryan as I walked up to him it was kind of awkward with all his friends there "hey Ryan sorry can I talk to u for a sec?" "Sure what do u want?" He said with a smirk "I wanted to ask if u know where I can find class five?" "Oh that's our class too" he said as his smirk turned into a grin,I stared dumbfounded "don't we have class this morning" "we do but I come late to class" He shrugged like it was nothing. once he gave me direction I made my way to class I apologized to the teacher for been late and she accepted. I quietly sat at the back and I to keep out all my stuffs for the lesson few minutes later Ryan walked in apologising to the teacher for been late he looks for a sit, immediately he saw me he smirked I could feel my face go red, he walked up to me and sat beside me at the back then he leaned in and whispered "miss me?" My face turned even redder "N-no!" I whispered back , he let out a soft low chuckle after class I packed my things and headed to the school library to clear my head as I walked past the library down a hallway I saw Ryan existing through a back door I ignored it and kept going on my way. I settled in the hallway and put on my headphones to listen to music, I must have been to loud cause the librarian stared shushing everybody suddenly Ryan burst in with some of his friends and sat at a corner trying to calm him down he was clearly angry I just ignored him again on my way outside I bumped into the girl I met on the first day "hey you,I've been looking for u since" "hey umm, sort I didn't quite catch your name the first time" she smiles "the names lily, I didn't catch yours either" "Leo" I said shaking her "so u wanna grab lunch? " she said with a smile , I smiles back at her "sure".we went to a food shop on campus and had a few bites and drinks , after we parted ways but she collected my number in case.
When I got back to my dorm I saw Ryan all bruised up, sitting on the bed he looked up at me and turned red from embarrassment "what happened?" I asked as I sat down beside him concerned "it's nothing" he said avoiding my eyes "you can trust me" I said placing my hand on shoulder "no you can't understand and I can't trust you" he said finally looking at me, my shoulder slumped a little I stood up and left the room to clear my head 'what am I thinking we just met you don't expect him to trust you now' I thought just then a hears a sound in one of the alley way that's when I saw lily.
