Several days later, the White Dragon soared through the skies of the Grand Line.
Standing on the deck, Bardock checked the direction of Dorry and Brogy's Vivre Cards. He sighed in mild frustration. "If we hadn't been violently blown off course by that freak atmospheric storm, we would have arrived at Little Garden three days ago."
"Considering Dorry and Brogy haven't left the island, it simply means their century-long duel remains unresolved. What difference does a few days make?" Robin replied lazily, sipping her black tea and turning the page of her book.
"Fair point."
Currently, the crew possessed an abundance of free time. There was absolutely no need to stress over minor delays.
"Hey, Bardock? Could we maybe lock up that long-nosed fish-man hostage?" Perona asked, floating gracefully through the air while holding her parasol. "His glaring is super intense! I just know he's actively plotting to sabotage us."
Worth noting, Perona wasn't currently in her astral projection form; her physical body was genuinely levitating. She had finally achieved true mastery over her Holo-Holo Fruit.
The long-nosed captive was, of course, Arlong. Since Bardock refused to harbor useless freeloaders, the hostages were forced to perform manual labor. While Hatchan was incredibly cooperative—happily scrubbing the deck and cooking takoyaki—Arlong remained violently rebellious. Refusing to submit to a human, he constantly schemed to steal back his heart. The raw, murderous intent in his eyes was impossible to hide.
Bardock waved off her concern. "No rush. I already assigned Enel to keep a close eye on him. The second he tries anything funny, Enel will instantly fry him into submission."
Speaking of the devil, a flash of blue lightning deposited Enel directly beside them. "Bardock. Little Garden is dead ahead."
"Excellent. Prepare for descent."
Bardock walked to the bow, peering over the railing. Utilizing his Fiery Golden Eyes, his enhanced vision effortlessly pierced through the distance, bringing the entire prehistoric island into sharp focus.
He quickly spotted the massive, magma-spewing volcano in the center of the island. And right at its base, two colossal giants were engaged in a violent, earth-shattering brawl.
Wait. Bardock vigorously rubbed his eyes, genuinely questioning his own vision.
Dorry and Brogy were currently fighting with shields in one hand... and absolutely nothing in the other. They were trading brutal, bare-knuckle punches!
Where the hell are their weapons?!
The last time they met, Dorry wielded a massive broadsword, and Brogy carried a giant battleaxe. Because their century-long duel had resulted in over seventy thousand consecutive draws, Bardock had specifically suggested they swap weapons to see who could master the other's fighting style faster. Clearly, some highly unexpected variable had occurred.
"Whoa! Are those actual giants?!" "They're absolutely massive!" "Look at that technique! Every punch is shaking the earth!" "Why are they fighting out here in the middle of nowhere?!"
The newer crew members who had boarded after Little Garden gasped in sheer awe. Giant-kin were incredibly rare across the Four Blues, and witnessing two legendary warriors locked in a death match was a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.
Of course, that only applied to the outside world. Anyone who had visited Elbaf knew its citizens threw down like this on a daily basis.
By the time the White Dragon descended, the duel was reaching its climax. Dorry and Brogy simultaneously launched devastating right hooks, their massive fists violently connecting with each other's jaws. The sheer, catastrophic force of the dual impact sent both giants flying backward to crash heavily into the jungle. They were absolutely not pulling their punches.
From a distance, Bardock saw the two titans shout something at the sky before erupting into booming, hearty laughter. They were likely confirming yet another draw to add to their endless tally.
"Oi! Dorry! Brogy! I'm back to visit!" Bardock shouted, his voice carrying across the island.
Hearing the familiar voice, the two giants scrambled to their feet, looking up at the descending golden galleon.
"Gababababa! It's our little friend! Did you bring the booze, Bardock?!" Brogy roared, his massive face lighting up with raw desire as he subconsciously licked his lips.
"Gegyagyagyagya! Brogy, you lack all manners! Hurry up and bring out the premium dinosaur meat to entertain our guest!" Dorry scolded, playfully punching his friend's shoulder, though his own eyes gleamed with thirsty anticipation.
"I brought the booze! Hahahaha!" Bardock laughed loudly, effortlessly tossing two massive, barrel-sized vats of premium rum over the railing.
Dorry and Brogy caught the vats seamlessly. Without a second thought, they violently smashed the seals and chugged the alcohol in massive gulps.
"GAAAAAH! That hits the spot!" "Incredible vintage!"
What constituted a massive vat for a normal human was barely a shot glass for a giant. In a matter of seconds, the containers were completely drained. They immediately looked back at Bardock with pitiful, pleading eyes.
The White Dragon smoothly touched down in the clearing. Bardock leaped off the deck, landing in front of the massive warriors. "Dorry, Brogy, bring out the meat! I brought enough booze to flood this jungle!"
"Right! The meat! Come taste the finest roast in all of Little Garden!" Brogy boasted. "Nonsense! My roast is infinitely superior to yours!" Dorry argued.
In an instant, the two giants were bickering all over again.
