Ryan felt her attributes pressed against his body, which felt really good.
Suddenly, he felt an intense urge to tease her.
'You say I've changed?' He smiled softly. 'I'll show you how much being a Walker can change you!'
He suddenly intertwined his hand with hers, then moved his other hand to push her delicate brown hair to one side and smiled gently at her.
"What if you look good?" He repeated her question and continued. "Hehe, you look beautiful, as always. But this time, that dress gives you a touch of mature beauty and immaturity at the same time. It naturally attracts my gaze, like honey attracts bees."
Her eyes fluttered, and she was speechless. Not even in her wildest dreams did she expect to receive that response from Ryan.
She shuddered a little... strangely, she felt that this man, who had always seemed like a cute little bunny to her, now looked like a beautiful lion hunting its prey.
That radical change... sent waves of feelings through her body, and she jumped up. Her face turned red, but she hid it behind a pillow, pulled it out, and stuck it in Ryan's face before looking out the window on the other side.
Ryan pushed the pillow away and looked at her with a sly smile.
'There's what you deserve!' he teased.
He couldn't help but glance at Cecily's clothes and her whole body. 'She really is beautiful. How dangerous!' he thought, unaware that she was watching him from the reflection in the glass.
As they were talking, the carriages started moving. Cecily's family's carriages were in front, leading the way, slowly approaching the university.
For most of the rest of the trip, Cecily didn't bother him, although she did keep an eye on him for most of the journey.
It wasn't until they were close to their destination that she returned to her usual self and looked at him.
"Did you sign up for Walker classes?" she asked.
"Yes. I will focus solely on them this year, so I signed up for all of them and two specializations."
"Right, you have to catch up." She nodded. "Which specialties did you choose?"
"Projection and Protection, although I can change the latter halfway through."
"Why would you change halfway through? Isn't that counterproductive?" she asked, puzzled. Few people chose that option for Walker subjects.
"It's probably incompatible with Protection, but since it's so important, I have to try," he replied.
"Oh. I see." She nodded.
Although she considered asking him how he had concluded that he wasn't compatible, she didn't have time to do so.
The carriages had stopped at the university entrance, attracting the attention of many; they had to get out.
And as they got out, everyone started talking about them, although they didn't care much. Still, it was the first time Ryan had arrived in such a flashy way, so it gave people a lot to talk about.
Although many despised him, no one dared to say so out loud. Perhaps only the sons of marquises or dukes would have the guts to mock a prince. Some present even admired and respected him, such as the sons of barons or viscounts, who could only advance in the nobility through him.
A prince was a prince, after all.
Some were Ryan's acquaintances, but no one approached him because of Cecily's presence, and under the watchful eye of their guards, they entered the university.
For safety and effective learning, the guards from both sides simply went to guard the entire university or key areas near them; they did not follow them to classes because it was partially prohibited.
The entrance was incredibly beautiful, with extensive gardens where students could sit, lakes, and beautiful buildings.
Walking through its beautifully decorated and preserved streets was a sight that Ryan enjoyed for the first time.
He had read about this beautiful Alterian University several times, and experiencing it firsthand felt incredibly good.
He moved his hand to one side and held one of the small cherry blossoms that had fallen from the large and numerous cherry trees around him.
Although it was quite cold, as it was the middle of winter, there were still some cherry trees with perfectly preserved flowers. However, they would soon become stunted trees whose blossoms would fall and be trampled by the students.
Ryan enjoyed this moment spectacularly, while Cecily had her own enjoyment, as she curiously watched what he was doing occasionally.
They soon arrived at a vast round plaza, built in the center of the university garden. Just behind that plaza were all kinds of educational buildings.
Although not all of them, the university was huge. Paths led off the plaza in every direction, taking you to the different university buildings that were quite far away.
In fact, to encourage work among students and help those most in need, the university itself provided them with carriages so that they could charge fares and take students who had to travel to the more distant buildings.
It was a project sponsored by Brandon Kraham himself, with the support of the King and several renowned professors, such as Professor Austin, the Director, and the Eighth Prince, who participated in the planning.
Thanks to this project, Brandon earned the respect of all the lower-middle-class students, as it affected all the universities in the kingdom, not just the main one.
"Will you leave your things in the dormitory or keep them with you in your inventory?" Cecily asked as they reached this area of the square and garden.
Ryan had already made up his mind.
"I'll leave it in the dormitory. Even though I don't use it, I hope it will at least be useful."
"All right. Then I'll see you at the Walkers Department. I'll go get my things," she replied and walked off to one side, getting into one of the carriages.
Ryan grabbed another one. "Can you take me to the Dormitories? I'll pay for the whole carriage, you don't need to wait any longer," he said.
"At your service, Ninth Prince." After the respectful reply from the student driver, the carriage began to move and, after leaving the roads of the square, headed northwest, where the dormitories were located.
These dormitories are generally used by those in need or those who live too far away. Still, the university's infrastructure and organization allowed each and every student to have one, even if they didn't use it. Those who didn't live in the dormitories generally used them to store study materials.
Even the Walkers, who have an inventory, do so, as it is common practice to use the excuse of going out to look for your things to get out of class for a while.
